Tampa Police Department - No one is above the law but the police chief, an ordinary citizen would be in trouble.

I was in and out of the place in less than 15 minutes (which matched about how much time it took for me to find a parking spot!). Staff was polite.

In full disclosure, I do not work for the Tampa Police Department, but our paths cross regularly through my specialized training and work with the City of Tampa's Office of Emergency Management. I had to run down to TPD headquarters this past week to drop off some paperwork and update my records. Since I was not a guest of the City I am unable to pass judgment on the comfort of the mattresses in lockup, or the quality of the meals that they serve their overnight guests. We'll have to wait for someone else to write a review about the City's drunk tank. Sorry Kelleigh! Police Chief Castor and her team are incredibly respectful to both the residents and the guests of the City of Tampa, and as evidenced last year during the Republican National Convention those basic acts of kindness go a long ways towards protecting the reputation of the City. It's always sad to walk up to the front door and view the memorial to the fallen officers, but I always walk out the door feeling good about the people who protect and serve the place that I live.

I showed up for my appointment but realized I left my fingerprint cards at home. The lady kindly offered to give me a blank card, but as the medical board requires that the fingerprint card be in a signed sealed envelop (signed by the fingerprinting officer), I had to return home to retrieve everything. Still, I appreciate the effort of the staff at the HCSO! Their new location is across the street for the original site, which is nice because the area is full of shade trees, so your car won't get too hot. https://www.supersaas.com/schedule/hcso_fp/Fingerprinting

I noticed a black/gray charger police car with normal plates driving down N 14th Street near Ybor (clearly an undercover as if it wasn't obvious). I thought it was a little odd that your patrol officers were driving about a half a mile off the strip. The officer probably heard me talking about how suspect that was and decided to hit a U-turn and follow me I watched him the entire way. Joke of a department that is supposed to be here to protect us. There is a reason no one gives two craps about the police. Such clowns. I hope Sheriff Chad Chronister and his subordinates see this. Never in my entire life of living in Tampa have I been targeted on my way home. A disgrace to the law enforcement of Tampa Bay. #BACK2NEWYORK P.S I really hope you guys enjoy the slingshot you guys purchased targeting people. FTP

So they decided to send a clown out and it wouldn't even confront. Them. And treated us that we were in the wrong and we were taken away from his precious little time. this department needs to be investigated. And higher real sheriffs and police officers. Ok, fine. I waited for thirty minutes, and after about 15 minutes, I called the police (after ten minutes) to see if the person was alright or to check on why it was taking the person so long. The police showed up in about ten minutes: the chaplain and a police officer. The man in the restroom had left the restroom, and the police asked him what he was doing, etc. The officers believed the man and then asked the manager about the incident. The manager told them he was supposed to be there with their permission. ONE: the officers never asked the man for any identification and never looked into the restroom. TWO: law-abiding citizens are not what they believe in Plant City. THREE: Burger King might be participating(unbeknownst or knowingly) in DEAD DROP operations at this facility. So, if you are a law-abiding person, DONT GO TO PLANT CITY, I hope I dont see this guy's picture anywhere, and he has committed a terrible crime bc I WILL CONTACT THE OFFENDED person(s) and let them know that the Plant City Police didn't even ID check the individual.
