WHY I HATE THE BAPD- A red truck QXE-994 trapped me from leaving the Drive Thru. I honked and he…read moregave me the finger and would not move. Instead of Road Rage, I decided to report him for obstruction of traffic. Ofr. Q. Smith did not care and said QXE-994 "did not break the law." Over the phone, Sgt. Toliver agreed with Smith. Toliver invited me to return to Drive Thru and he will show me how I could have "just went around." I could not go around because there's a cement curb, so, on empty streets, I hurried back over to the restaurant to make my point with Toliver. There was a heavy police presence for some reason and as soon as I got there, Ofr. McNelly pulled me over at the entrance. About 3 or 4 cops were screaming at me, yell-spitting, and blinded me in the eyes with a flashlight. They behaved as if I killed people and caused several accidents. All this Three Stooges nonsense just because I wanted to report QXE-994 for blocking me from leaving. The cops did not care and protected QXE-994 to do it again to someone else. Had I known BAPD were going to be childish, useless, and protect QXE-994's disorderly behavior, I would have Road Raged. When I complained to the police station, Major Garrett said, "There's nothing we can do since it happened on private property." Interesting how a bunch of cops were there when I returned doing something on the same private property. Plus, the internet has lots of videos of the police responding to Drive Thru incidents. So, apparently, if a person decides to park and eat at the Drive Thru window, it's perfectly fine to force the line of cars behind to wait till they're finished eating and drive off at their leisure according to the BAPD. Absolutely ridiculous!! I have more bad stories about the BAPD, but I'm only allowed one complaint.

booking at city jail was quick, i'd estimate 45 minutes to an hour from arrival at detainment…read morecenter to holding cell, with an intermediate wait in small holding cell near arrival desk as a step i'd not experienced during booking at county jail, in which i sat on a bench as other arrestees arrived at the facility and shared a space with me while the officers processed entry for me into the facility. once in the holding cell, with a padded mat and wool blanket in tow, food quantity was plentiful, with a variety of pot pie, cheese stick, package of cheese crackers, fruit gummies, and a kool aid beverage served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which assisted with delaying defecation in the confined cell with the constipation promoting properties of the frozen pot pie meals, but admittedly the smell of the food did blend with the smell of grown men in the holding cell, including me, not showering for days in a row. nonetheless, food was tasty and distinguishable in smell with minimal concentration from the man stank. and lastly, after 3 days, cue first year high school old testament study rejoinder, i got the opportunity to appear in court, and received release from detainment and a waiving of fees associated with the charges by pleading "no contest," by the negotiation and recommendation of a public defender clearly devoted to the pursuit of justice, for me along with fellow detainees who appeared in court today as well.

This is the place you have to go to tho if you want a fingerprint card and local background check. Fingerprint cards cost $5 and background check is $8. There's a visitor lot on the west side of the building. The actual building is on the corner of 1st and Denver. The place is clean and while the deputies staffing the place are not very personable they are efficient.
