The grout throughout our…read morehome had seen better days - it was stained and cracked in some areas and even after a deep cleaning didn't look clean or even. But, I love our floor tile so much I decided to give grout staining a try. I did not to be so blown away at how good it turned out. The crew was amazing, friendly and super hard working. It's rare to find top notch service and results these days but these guys delivered on all fronts. The crew took some before and after pics that I hope they will post here on yelp.

After the "cleaning and sealing" was completed it looked like nothing had been done. Pictures posted in review are after the work was completed. The grout that was repaired was also a totally different color. As for the kitchen sink.... they placed gray grout over top of old clear caulking and lime scale build up. Called back and talked to the person who came out and gave us a quote the first time and shared pictures and concerns. He came out the next day and looked at it and agreed it didn't look good. After he tried to re-clean the shower he said sometimes things just don't come clean and the grout color doesn't match because the other grout wouldn't come clean also that they cannot guarantee cleaning services..... none of which was explained during the quote or when we wrote a $700 check. He then said he would talk to the owner and see what else they could do for us..... Called back the next day to tell us nothing could be done but color stain the grout lines in one shower for another $300...... Not sure what we paid $700 for or why we would pay another $300 for when neither shower looked like it was cleaned at all and the small amount of "repairs" done were sloppy and didn't even match. Wouldn't mind paying $700 for work if it was done correctly. Would never recommend grout doctor to anyone ever again.

The Grout was Driving the wife nuts I called and texted pics to Josh at Desert Tile and Grout Care. Best call I ever made. Josh came out put an estimate together which after calling other companies was very fair. After talking to my wife and I to schedule a day, we found out not surprisingly they were book out a few weeks . Josh found out the wife had family flying in to visit with us for a few weeks. Josh went over his schedule and somehow found a Friday they could do it prior to the family visiting. The workers came out laid down a few grout color Samples. My wife picked the one she wanted and they went to work. The job got done in one day And came out perfect Thanks to all of you! Ken and Julie Carson Laveen AZ (Happy Wife Happy Life)

It definitely needed some help from all the hard water damage over the past 2 years. He was very punctual and even specially ordered this paste to fill a gap by our shower wall. Adrian and both his assistants did an amazing job refining the granite and re-grouting. When the job was completed, it looked so clean, shiny and smooth! Adrian is extremely thorough and even told me where to get the best cleaner to maintain these surfaces long-term. They really went above and beyond what I had expected. We will definitely use them again for all our future tile and grout needs!

I agreed to wait since I liked the reviews I read on Yelp. The morning of the job I get a call from him saying that there is an issue with the grout company getting my grout. He said he'd get it straightened out and could come two days later to complete the job. I agreed. Then the morning of the second appointment I get a similar call and he said that he is not sure exactly how long it will take to get the grout but that he should be able to get it eventually. Then a week later, when I hadn't heard any updates, I told him I'm going to move forward with another company if I do not get word he told me that he ultimately couldn't get the right color grout. His communication throughout the process was inconsistent. I do not get upset when issues arise since I know that things happen. It's more about how it is handled and Gabriel was disrespectful of my time and a poor communicator throughout. I recommend that you avoid this company.

It's interesting to see the previous review by Jessie complaining about Emser shutting their doors…read moreearly. I too was treated badly when showing up just minutes before their closing time. Details? Well, I arrived at 12:55pm on Saturday, when they claim that their hours of operation were until 1pm. Now, I'm not sure how you interpret a 1pm close. For most retail establishments, I think it means you can walk in up until 1pm, with more time to do your shopping. However, the sales manager had other ideas. I was told they were closing down at 1pm, and I had to leave. Yes, that's right, the manager told me to get out. I tried to negotiate my expulsion because there was a strong recommendation by my contractor to buy from them. I thought it would be okay to accommodate the store manager and just get things done in like, 1 minutes. So I pulled out samples I had brought with me (my choices were already made for the most part, and I was looking for cheaper/nicer alternatives) and said, "This won't take any time if you can just tell me if you have anything to match these here sample. See?" The manager looked down at the sample tiles, frowned, then looked up at me and said, "Sorry, nothing really like that here." I looked at my wife to see if she wanted to press further, but she was heading for the door. Not saying anything that would make my native New York accent overly apparent, I picked up my tile samples and left. However, there's more. The final insult took place when their locked exit door would not open. The same friendly manager (so called) looked very annoyed as she leaned heavy into the bolt and forced the door open. In my defense, that door was not user friendly. Now maybe I should have known better than show up 5 minutes before closing. And maybe I should have been better acquainted with the door lock used at Emser. However, I really don't think either was the problem. To get some closure, I spoke with my general contractor the next day using my New York accent to communicate my unhappiness (man did that feel great!). He called the regional sales rep who, that same day, did leave an apologetic voicemail on my cell. I didn't call back, though. It wasn't worth the effort. I guess there are tons of people who buy Emser tile and are quite happy with them. However, I can only assume they come early in the morning and wait politely for the doors to open. All good, but I will not be one of those people.
