Ah this is a hard one for me to write. I have been coming here since I moved to the area 6 years ago. Back then, there were some growing pains so wait time and scheduling were tough. But then I met Amy, who was incredible and I would schedule directly with her so it worked well. But then she went on vacation and never came back. So I started seeing Chloe, who was also great. But same thing... vacation, never came back. Then Vincent... then Tiffany... not sure what this pattern means but either way... I'm writing the review because I called today for an appointment and set it up. I arrived on time and it was like I had never called. 40 minutes later, everyone is still busy and not able to take me. My issue is, they never should have made the appointment. If they knew they were understaffed or running behind, they could've told me. So, I'll be moving on to a new salon. I got excited with the recent remodel, but doesn't seem like there's much improvement. I hope they figure out better systems soon. read more

I was taken care of relatively quickly even though I was a walk-in ; despite there only being two people working when I came in, I only had to wait about 5 minutes before someone got started with me. I showed the nail tech what I wanted and he started right away -- however, they don't soak your nails, cut off the dead skin and cuticles, lotion massage -- none of that. They didn't have builder gel, so I went with Gel X - even their shortest tip was still pretty long. I had to ask for it to be filed down a couple times. Not to mention, the glue under the nail was super thick. I asked for it to be cut down and filed three times before I left and it's still a huge chunk of glue under my nails, especially my thumb. Not sure if that's par for the course with Gel X, but it's not comfortable. The actual design came out beautiful, and for that they get the stars they did. However; $105 for this feels like a gut-punch. It wasn't even a full manicure in regard to aforementioned lack of cuticle care, lotion, skin cutting, etc. I'll only come here again if I have no other option. read more

Had a great experience! Sofia provided excellent service and I love my manicure! I would recommend.

Requested manicure and pedicure. The young male tech was welcoming and friendly however his skill lacked terribly. My nails were filed and cuticles trimmed and polish applied --$25 service no hand massage or lotion applied even to the cuticles. The water wasn't even warm he hand me soak them in and then as soon as I dipped one hand hand he took it out-- it didn't even allow for time for my cuticles to begin to soften. He had to repaint nails as they would not cure even after half hour then even 5 hours later the nails would not cure see video. My pedicure also lacked full callus treatment and the back and outsides of my heels were left untreated. My toes were trimmed unevenly which I didn't see until I left. Lastly, this place was so filthy-- disgustingly so. It was not for lack of staffing either when I left 4 people were sitting around on their phones doing nothing just waiting. Counters and tools covered in dust and grime. It did not look like the counters had been cleaned in weeks at least. Additionally the chairs are very ragged and the quality of their massage' very poor. I really hoped for a better experience here, I cannot say I'll be back or that I would recommend but these are the opportunities they could improve. read more

Was extremely disappointed with the service I received at this nail salon. My mom, sister, and I were so excited for a girls' day and had made this appointment after being referred by a friend. We left feeling like we had wasted money for a service we could've done at home. Firstly, my mom is a hardworking nurse who never spoils herself. We were so excited for a girls' day to finally get to do it. She had asked for a pedicure and requested the extra package with the callus removal. Her nail tech took a sponge and rubbed both her feet within 1 minute and started applying her nail polish almost immediately. She left the salon with her feet barely touched. For my manicure, I had grown out my nails after stress biting them for years, and was so excited to have them done for the first time in a year. When I sat down for a regular manicure, there was a young male nail tech who filed my nails without any symmetry between both hands. He then went on to apply the nail polish immediately, without doing any further cuticle prep. Because I don't get my nails done regularly, I didn't realize he was supposed to do more for prep until I left and already paid. He finished my nails within 15 minutes, and I left with cuticles that looked the exact same as when I had walked in. In total, the 3 of us spent $175 for nails that chipped within hours. I paid $72 with tip, to have my legs rubbed with orange sugar scrub and my toenails painted with gel polish. I would not recommend coming here if you are on a schedule. I would like to start by saying, I don't think I've gotten my nails done since 2017 - so this is not a regular event for me! I live in the Lake Nona area and haven't been to a nail salon since moving out here, so I wasn't sure where to go. A friend of mine posted a picture on her story and tagged Polished Nail Bar so I figured that's as good a recommendation as any! I checked out Yelp first (obvi) and read a ton of mixed reviews, then checked their Instagram. I felt comfortable enough to go ahead and book with a girl by the name of Chloe, after seeing her work and many mentions of her on here! I saw there was a menu shared on here so I called to book one of the options listed, which was acrylic / full set. The woman on the phone told me they do NOT do acrylic, they do dipping powder. No problem - but big FYI, this menu has to be outdated for sure. I booked with Chloe in advance for Sunday at 3:30. I arrived for my appointment - first impressions, super cute! I love the chandelier and the cute quotes - one of my favorites by Coco Chanel hanging loud and proud on the left and Hello Gorgeous on the right. You wash your hands and sit down for your appointment and tell them what you want. I looked everywhere ; I probably looked stupid like I was about to break my neck looking all over the walls for said menu here. It does not exist!!‍ I asked about it - they just started listing prices, but I quite literally never physically saw a menu anywhere, at all. Not even anywhere near anyone else coming in. I thought that was kind of odd!! I just asked a lot of questions. I ended up bringing in a picture of nail inspo I wanted to replicate - Chloe was SO HELPFUL AND SO PATIENT!! And honest!! I picked something that in hindsight would've been way off initially, and she told me right away that does not match the picture that's a little too bright.. and gave suggestions which was so helpful. She's so sweet and she did really good work - with super attention to detail! I got dipping powder, some on my real nails, some with added tips because I didn't want anything crazy for length - and I got 5 colors. Just dipping powder on your natural nails is $40. Adding tips / extensions is an additional $5. I used 5 colors, so that was an additional $5, making the total for my nails $50. That's what I expected so I was happy with it ! I feel like these days, that's just about what it's going to run you minimum, if you're getting what you want. Told her no because I get my nails with gel X every month and it never happened. She agreed to redo 2 nails after I told her I had the issue with 4 nails that she has done. Why file the nails after they've been polished and designed is unknown to me? I went very early, since most reviews said that they were typically very busy. I was seated immediately for a basic pedicure. The technician worked at a consistent pace. Upon finishing, I had to check my toe because she missed a few times with the drill and it was hurting. I asked for square shaped toes and got sideway crookedness instead. She also applied this lotion on my legs that upon drying made my skin appear dry with scratch marks. She did try to wipe it off upon recognition, but with a dry towel which didn't help the situation. The fill-in was mediocre, and I feel like there was alot of unnecessary filing which led to 50 million hang nails. I wanted a French tip, which had to be redone due to inexperienced or lack of practice with the style. The tips are not completely white and have dark spots and random debris and dust specks in them. Then came the excessive filing after the nails had been polished with the clear coat cured. I went to wash my hands and had to pick away all the polish that had been file off which led to hang nail galore. The technician tried to fix it but it was beyond repair and it was time to go. Would I go back? Most likely not. I appreciate the effort though, and it was kind of cheap. $115 for a Basic Pedicure, Fill-In, Gel Polish and 1 Nail Tip. read more

Awesome. I'm so hard on my nails - even w gel or dip- so I've been on the hunt for the best pedicure and most relaxing experience. They're only taking reservations so it's less crowded. I had the pedicure area to myself but consistently about 6 people in the manicure area. The color selection is great but even better... it's organized! Makes finding you go-to color so much easier than just being all stashed on a spinner. The massage chairs are insanely high tech. I'm in love. Much different then NY local non-luxurious type nail salon they try harder and make you feel comfortable. To me It gives you a the local feel with a luxurious atmosphere. They provide you with beverages from water to wine. I only did a pedicure for myself and uncle. my uncle who never, ever had his feet done wants to go back and do it all over again and this is a guy who said " it not manly or kosher" for a man to get this done... Very nice place. Everything is clean and there is a ton of polishes to choose from including powder from OPI and SNS and some others. Kay has done my nails twice now and she's very gentle and does a great job. It's far from my house but worth the drive every 3 weeks. It's a bit pricier than the place I had been going to and they charge to shape the nail even though it's just a slightly pointed which is a little ridiculous but the outcome is good so I don't mind. I got in 40 minutes before they closed for a removal, no immediate greeting except blank stares. I got a hello from one person after staring back at them, the vibe was so OFF. Finally I sit down for my removal...25 minutes pass and I'm walking out with product still on my fingernails. When you remove acrylic, shouldn't you be walking out with BARE nails? I didn't say anything because they were already leaving and sweeping and getting ready to go. She asked if I wanted clear polish over top, i said sure because maybe it would help. Nope. So I am verrrry picky with my nails. I have small nail beds and my nails grow upward so they're tough to style. I came in with hard gel (builder gel) that was super thick and done poorly. If you haven't transitioned to hard gel nails, start now. They last forever. Eva did my manicure. I was going to skip a pedicure (since I'm just visiting and very picky) but my nails turned out so good I had to do the pedicure. She's kind and funny, the salon is clean and the service was quick. I go for a fill, got double booked so my appointment was basically not necessary then I do same thing.. just dip with tip and basic chrome added. NO JUST NO! I just moved here from San Diego and I was already stressed about finding someone decent to do my nails. This place has good reviews as far as techs go. Customer service reviews were terrible but hey if you do a a good job I can deal. Welp this is the worst my hands have ever looked. They are uneven, clumpy, not filed at all. The guy was very nice but super rushed, sloppy and gave zero shits. To top it all off it was 55 dollars! It looks like a drunk monkey did my nails. The hunt continues for a comparable nail place here. Did I mention when I got there with an appt there were 8 people also waiting and 3 of us were all told they didn't have the appt down at all. It was my first time getting my nails done here and unfortunately I will probably not be returning unless I booked with someone else. I have yet to find a good nail salon in Lake Nona. The location is in an area under construction. It is small but decorated nicely. The staff was fairly friendly. I brought my daughter and I in for a gel mani and regular pedi before heading out of town today. Right after arriving in Mexico, one nail is already chipped - less than 24 hours later. I am very disappointed given the amount of money spent and my gel nails usually last at least 1 week, usually 2. FYI, there is no pricing posted in the salon or on their website but it's in-line with a salon I got my nails done last downtown. It was $93 for gel mani/regular pedi and a regular mani/pedi for my 7 yr old daughter. read more

Decided to take the 20 minute drive over to Lake Nona and give the salon a try. I called ahead to make an appointment since I know weekend can be crazy. They were very accommodating and told me they could see me early if I got there. First up is parking, the salon is located in a private lot it shares with other businesses. The spots up front are 30 min max, so you'll have to find a spot a little further. I had no issue parking even as First Watch was going through brunch rush! As soon as I got in I was greeted and asked what color. I showed them an image of something they had done previously that I wanted to copy. They got started right away removing my old SNS and putting on the new. I was offered a drink or soda, I believe they also had coffee? The tech doing my nails was very detailed and took the time to carefully shape and dip my nails. After the manicure she gave me a quick hand and arm massage. She didn't quite match the original design I was looking for, but I still loved the manicure. Next we moved to the pedicure which I opted for the basic. The tech was quick but detailed in her work and gave me a nice massage and hot towel. Total time was about an hour and a half, somewhat longer as I was getting a design on four of my nails! The salon is very clean inside and has a nice fresh interior. The walls are carefully lined with polish, gel, and collagen options. They also feature a multitude of SNS/dip powders. The salon has 10 manicure stations and, I believe, 10 pedicure stations. Atmosphere is casual and relaxing. Each employee was busy at work but very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend checking them out for an awesome nail day! read more

This is probably the prettiest nail salon I've seen in Orlando. Crystal chandeliers, soft music and a dizzying array of OPI nail products decorating the walls. They were organized by color and then shade. They even had the newer OPI color palettes displayed separately. Their massage chairs were comfortable with pretty glass bowls. It was one of the cleanest nail salons I've been to in Lake Nona. I called ahead that morning to ask for a 3 p.m. appointment as they told me that was helpful when I stopped by a few months ago. I don't know that they have an official appointment schedule as I called to say I would be early at 2 p.m. The lady who greeted me with a furrowed brow said that's fine and took me right away without looking at a reservation schedule. I didn't see any price list displayed but had a services card already, so I was good. I chose my polish and Chloe was my pedicurist. She was very sweet but quiet. Totally OK with me as I'm not very chatty anyway. I did ask Chloe for a price list as I wanted to make a final choice. I got the $45 pedi with the cucumber scent (came with choice of scent). I really enjoyed the fragrance! Their prices are totally reasonable and in-line with the type of salon they are, slightly a cut above the rest in Lake Nona. Chloe was detailed in her work and did a great job with the pedi. She was exceptionally good at the foot/leg massage. Their chairs are comfortable and I actually used the massage function, which I never do at other places. I asked for a drink during the hot towels, and she brought me a mini can of diet Coke. The next observations are totally my own opinion but felt worth mentioning. They really need a price list displayed somewhere for walk-ins. A digital sign on a computer screen would be really cool and in keeping with the image they are going for. Also, a services card with prices needs to be given at the time the client sits down to choose their service. Let them know they can keep it for the future. That is also the point, drink options should be offered. I still don't know what the other choices were. Also, full size cans of soda would be nice. Another suggestion -- they might consider a digital photo album of nail art available and which techs can do it. I loved that there were no tvs in the salon but this could be done on a Powerpoint on the small computer screen with the service prices. No other nail salon in Lake Nona does this. If there is an additional fee for nail art, it would be a great way to increase sales. They need an email list for any nail specials they are running. I will be visiting again as this is just the type of nail salon Lake Nona needs. With just a few tweaks on customer experience details, they could be the premier nail salon in Lake Nona. read more

I came here for my birthday and decided to try a new nail salon instead of going to my normal nail lady and boy was I wrong! I did not like my SNS French nails at all and had a really hard time communicating with lady as she kept showing me colors for my toe nails that they didn't have? We eventually worked that out. When it came to my French manicure I mentioned I didn't like my nails and that the white tip part seemed awkwardly designed and not elegant like im used to it (literally it felt like she painted a straight white line across my nail)! she said she was sorry and stated she didn't know I wanted a French SNS differently even when I pointed out that it didn't look professional and it appeared like a child colored them versus a professional she refused to listen and still charged me full price even when I was not happy with the results. I haven't made an appointment as of yet because I'm always on the run, but as a walk-in, I've never had to wait that long. So far I've been seen by Angel, Chloe, and Jennifer, and they all do phenomenal work. I highly suggest the dip powder, as it lasts longer and doesn't chip as easily.
