I started calling vets in Rome, GA - too busy, only one Dr. in, a "drop in" fee etc. I was shocked and desperate. I looked up Lakeview Animal Clinic, YES they could see my cat! You call, you wait in the parking lot and they come out to get you. Dr. Johnson saw my cat and quickly determined that he had clawed his tongue trying to dislodge a hair tie. This is where the blood was coming from. An Antibiotic shot for good measure. I cannot tell you how this animal clinic saved the day for me! They were compassionate, thorough and a real service to the community! They have made me a customer. I was also shocked by the price, so incredibly reasonable!!! Take your pet here! It was clean, didn't have set time to drop off or pick up. Dogs were being played with when we dropped Gracie off. When I picked her up, I knew they'd loved on her because the girl said " she likes to give ear kisses ". Yes, yes she does! She looked through the bill and then talked to the vet and got it down to $700 and then we got another $130 back. She figured out how they could do outpatient care for him for the day and then send him home with us. When I took him to my regular vet on Monday morning, he was appalled. They had tried to talk me into a surgery for him. They had tried all kinds of stuff. It was just the worst experience I've ever had and I have been to a emergency vet quite a few times over the years with dogs and cats. I do not recommend going here if you're gonna go somewhere for an emergency vet go to VCSG in Chattanooga.
