I had to place air fresheners throughout the house to mask the smell of the couches she used on the main level of our home. We could have bought the furniture and given it to a charity after the sale of our home for less than what we paid her and I wish we had. Finally her interaction with us was very harsh. Her emphasis on paying within days of the invoice date indicates that her company is running on a thread. I do not recommend Ready to Sell. There are many other staging companies in Portland that will do a much better job for you.

"Have an actual schedule; be honest with her clients when there is an issue (as opposed to making promises and then flaking out, rescheduling or just flat out ignoring others); and above all: COMMUNICATE. If there's an issue, whatever it may be -- whether it's me, your life, whatever the case may be -- just say so. Even if you want to hide behind a text; that's fine. But when someone is counting on you, either live up to it or be a grown lady and say you can't. This woman actually blocked me because I had the "audacity" to tell her (via recorded audio) that if I had done something to make that resulted in her acting -- pretty much, like an over emotional and irresponsible teenager, then I was sorry. This resulted in me being blocked (or just flat-out ignored). Nevermind the fact that she was paid $700 for a booked 11 hours ($550), or that 2-3 of those hours were spent just hanging out and/or watching YouTube. I spent $52.00 a night plus a crazy cleaning fee (given their house rules required me to clean it myself prior to checking out. ) STAY AWAY from any WHITE SPIDER Rental PDX on Air BNB. They use cheap rates to suck unsuspecting people into their scams of up charging once you have made the mistake of staying in one of their rentals. I have never EVER had a problem before with any of the 20 AirBnB residences or management companies, I have interacted with in the past. In fact, I have 5 references from hosts stating that I am an ideal tenant. Property/My Stay- Unit was completely misrepresented in many ways. I could list at least five, but am not in the least interested in engaging in he-said/she-said stuff. Honest to God, any "stain" on a comforter was caused by the Febreze I sprayed upon my initial entry because the smell was a little wonky. Retrieval of Lost Item- this part of the owner's response to me on YELP was an actual LIE. I did go and meet their representative to retrieve my forgotten toiletry bag Sunday, February 9th at 1130 am, prior to my driving home to Seattle. I was grateful to be given the opportunity to do that rather than having to pay "their shipping experts" to have it sent to me. Claims that I attempted to "Threaten" using my profession- First, I am a lawyer; I was ready to prevent myself from having been charged money for nothing. I was honest, straightforward and prepared to fight their ridiculous up-charge fees. *Nightly rates fees were about $60.00+ fees. When you compare that to the fines they assess on your stay, I think you might get what is going on here. Sample of the potential upcharges in their "house rules" pulled directly from the listing- We love our neighbors, and try never to impede on their right to a quiet home. Please quiet down by 9pm on the weekdays and 10pm on the weekends. This is especially important when using the deck! Neighbor complaints will be handled as follows: - 1st complaint: $250 fine and call to the company you booked through. Mandatory walk-through. - 2nd complaint: $500 fine, case started with the company you booked through, negative review left. Mandatory walk-through. - 3rd complaint: $500 fine and immediate eviction. -- Due to back-to-back guests, I'm sorry, but we cannot accommodate early check-ins nor late check outs. This is a FIRM (and imperative!) rule. Me as a reviewer- You guys know me... read my reviews...I am complimentary to the extreme and ALWAYS HONEST with my assessments. I have been honored to receive ROTD a few times over the last three years. If anything, I am an overly-generous reviewer and am rarely critical-just look at my rating distribution. The number of people that find my reviews "useful" or 'cool" speaks for itself.
