I'm all about reviews, good customer service, and cleanliness of a food establishment. Late soccer game, we didn't know where to eat, I Yelped places close by, the place we wanted to grab food from was closed. Pollo Regio was next so we decided to give it a try. We are not from the area so seeing the Yelp stars/reviews for Pollo Regio was kinda iffy for me. Glad we did. Food was good. I didn't take pictures to share, and we didn't order chicken, but the tacos were delish! And the complimentary chips were so crunchy and just right! So was the variety of salsa. The staff was super helpful and nice, too! Definitely worth a try, we will be back for sure. read more

Workers were very nice. Ordered loaded nachos, had plenty of goodies on them! Very clean restaurant.

Awful! We ordered online for a work luncheon the day before. I called before I headed there but no one answered. I got there, the door was locked, a worker opened the door & said they were closed, she couldn't explain further & was going to shut the door. All other workers were sitting around in dining room. She finally called another worker, who said that corporate decided to do some maintenance so they wouldn't be doing any cooking. I asked why no one called me, he said that they don't have my information on the order. He kept insisting then had a "stare-down" with other workers when I said I already paid & I had 10 ppl waiting for food. I had to insist on refund & it took THREE workers to figure out how to do it. Finally got refund. They said they were going to call another location at Gran Plaza, to get my order ready. I drove around 15 minutes to find this other location, & sure enough my order wasn't ready. The worker at Gran Plaza location was super nice though. Got back to work 30 minutes late bc of incompetent, unprofessional Forest Hill location. I would not go there again. read more

Establishment has very little care in their appearance and in honoring a pick up order time. I ordered a meal @820 away from the restaurant. Got there 10 min early, no big deal, still had to wait for an additional 15 min pushing my order back. I ordered @820 and the order wasn't fulfill until 9. Horrible. read more

The first time I came and ordered the papa regio they didn't have steak. 2nd time I again ordered the papa regio and they don't have any potatoes. Waited 25 min in the drive thru line. Everything on the menu is delicious! My go to is the Tostada Siberia with an extra jalapeño and the green salsa. Their customer service has greatly improved over the past few years and I try to stop every time I see one! Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you've never tried it. read more

Where I live, we do not have a Pollo Regio nearby. So when ever I have a chance to visit a location I make an effort to eat there. With that being said I have no complaints about the food from any location. There is always consistency with the food and it tastes great. Having a salsa bar and chips available while you wait for your food to arrive always makes it pleasant. With that being said, there is a reason why I posted only 2 starts. CUSTOMER SERVICE! At this particular location, they need better training. And not only the employees but management as well. I come to the store around 9:20ish pm and I order nachos to eat there. The cashier does not tell me anything and I also order a soft drink from the fountain. As soon as I get my cup, I start preparing my salsas and chips. Then I head to the fountain and I start to push on the ice and the ice never comes out. Then the cashier proceeds to tell me that they did not have anymore ice fr their machine. ( So why did she sold me a soft drink if she knew there was no ice) I left it at that and I poured some soda. The soda was warm! And still I was not advices or told that I could exchange my drink ( mind you, I was the only customer there and everyone was cleaning and getting ready to close) I head to my table with a warm soda chips and salsa. Out of the back, comes out a lady that I believe was the manager and seemed to be in a hurry . And asked the cashier what I ordered and she responded I ordered nachos. Well, the nachos were to dine in. The manager looked at the cashier and seemed a little upset and said to the cashier. No! You did not take an order to dine in. You were not supposed to do that. The poor cashier did not know what to do. So they were having a conversation about me and my order and the manager saying how I was not supposed to dine in ( mind you, I do not know or saw the hours of operation. If they were there, I did not see them. ) I felt really uncomfortable that the manager seemed upset because I ordered my food to dine in there at the restaurant. When I was given my food, I was handed my food by the cashier and by this time she seemed embarrassed. I was handed my food on a to go plate. I felt the atmosphere a little tense and no one said anything to me at all. I took 2 bites out of my plate and I asked for a bag and take extra salsa cups and lids. And I headed to my destination after that experience. So 3 bad things happened, no cold fountain drinks. And bad service, read more

This location isn't good, the meat isn't seasoned well like other locations and their meat does not have the fat trimmed off like other locations do! Save your time and money and go to another location like the one at La Gran Plaza! It's worth the extra time and effort. read more

i usually dont review "fast food" but this one i felt needed a review. We have been searching for a place liek El Pollo Loco for a while... and this place is pretty close. We had to eat before a basketball game around the corner. So, this was our decision. Although the location seems a bit meh... the place is really clean. even the bathrooms were clean. Free chips. The chicken flavor is good. A salsa bar. Mexican cokes, if you're into that. We split the half chicken combo and added an extra side and a mexican coke... $15 total. We were fat and happy. Great place for some mexican style flamed chicken. I love the attempt at authenticity, but I feel like the star of the location is the chicken and it has never floored me or made me feel like I cannot live without it. I used to work in this mall and would take a lunch here every now and a again. Great prices for lunch specials, but not life changing food. I love regios chicken and green avocado salsa! But I don't like this particular regios. It seems like they don't cook their chicken there. More like they get it from a different regios that has a grill. The chicken is always old and cold. My husband recently went back and ordered a whole chicken but when we opened it it looked like scraps. Tried the tacos and got sick! Ugh please don't waste your time going there! I went to this regios chicken restuarant and was absolutely disgusted. First thing is that none of the employees spoke english. There was no where to park because there was too many lawn mower trailers. My chicken was wet with some sort of glaze they said was a new sauce they were trying out. There was also a birthday party there but none of the employees were attending to the children. Kids were just dunking their hands in the salsa bar and licking it clean and that just made me vomit. read more
