This shop keeps expanding, with a larger men's shop than women's side, they have a lot of the standard polos and summer wear right now, and while not all of the equipment is fitting for me (I'm smaller), a lot of clothes were good fits for the folks around me. Polos were $119, though at some discount depending on the pattern. Definitely not too far from the regular retail, though, so I'm not sure coming during regular times is much of a deal. Bargain hunting here is a must. Will have to pop by during a holiday sale to see if it's better. read more

We called to try & return an order. She said it's online orders' problem and that online orders are separate from the store. We asked her why she's making us run around just to return an online order. She literally said "this is the phone # for the online orders, call them", then she hung up. So, we called online orders phone #, gave them the order # & email (we have the confirmation email, mind you), but they said they couldn't find the order under that email & asked if I had a different one. They then said to call Ralph Lauren again because the order had Ralph Lauren items. What's going on with you guys? Why is it so hard to return an online order? There was a time in my life when I used to wear a lot of RL, but over the years the brand has fallen out of favor with me. It has nothing to do with the overall company, it's just that by the way of trying on other brands I have discovered that RL's clothes do not fit me as well as I first thought. Nevertheless, I still own and wear a few RL pieces, and always take the time to explore this outlet store whenever I make a trip to Woodbury Common. This RL outlet is huge, and I'll be honest even after visiting multiple times I still don't know my full way around. They have a large selection of both men's and women's clothing, and their inventory is always plentiful. Note that the children's section is housed in its own store, not too far away. I've purchased multiple pairs of jeans from this outlet as well as sweaters, t-shirts, and other miscellaneous pieces. I've found everything to be of high quality, lasting through years of wear. However, like any outlet store, you have to search to find the goods - those solid color t-shirts for example don't last as long as the graphic tees. Also, it's hard to shop at outlets looking for something specific, it's better to go in with an open mind and sees what speaks to you. Staff is friendly and always willing to help, and there is always a good amount of employees at checkout which makes the whole process efficient. While I wouldn't go to the RL Outlet looking for something super specific, there's enough here for you to find at least one item to pick up. Happy shopping =) read more

This used to be a great Ralph Lauren outlet offering some good sales but now it's basically just the cheap Made in China collection with no imagination that RL has been pushing the last few years. It's a whole lot of the same thing ... RL used to cultivate a season with some nice distinct items which all went together. Now, its a mismatch of cheaply made clothes using terrible materials and they cram 4 times as much clothing into every space because it probably costs them $$1.00 to make a shirt in China that they sell for $50. So even if a stack of them go unsold, selling a few makes up for it. The quality and selection of clothing at this outlet feels more like The Gap than Ralph Lauren and the fit of RL clothes is not great. Because this store is so huge, with many connecting rooms which blend together, it has no real flow other than it is a hard thing to make such a giant space feel crammed ... but they manage to do it by filling it with similar looking racks and shelves of clothes. When you have so many Asian tourists bumping and grabbing and unfolding clothes, you need an army of employees to walk around a fold things. Most of the employees here are zero help and either totally aloof ... or just plan incompetent. The folders go around talking about how much they hate the customers who mess up the displays right in front of the customers which makes for a rather unpleasant experience. Also, it's not entirely the customer's fault that there are hundreds of thousands of clothes stacked in a small area. You try to find your size in a stack of folded jeans 20 on top of the other with no visible size labels. I asked one employee if they had more of a size in the back. She said she didn't think so. I followed up with, 'Do you think or do you know?' and she said she would check in the back for me. She dissapeared for around 10 minutes. Finally, I gave up and was walking out of the store and saw her folding clothes in another room. My last 5 trips here, I haven't seen a single thing I wanted to buy. However in fairness, foreign tourists are literally buying everything and the lines are huge! read more

This store keeps getting bigger. Over the years Ive been coming to this mall, well over a decade, this store moved once and has since then just expanded to the left and right as space has opened up. If you cant find it here, I don't think any other Polo outlet carries it. I don't buy their clothes, but I love their bath and more towels. So I often pop in to see if they have the color and style I like, because I actually have worn them out over the years. Not because it bad quality, but rather because I use them so much they simply do wear out eventually. Made the mistake of signing up for RL text messages to get 15% off, now I get 50 spam emails a day... great use of customers data to make a few extra bucks... not making enough on overpriced sweatshop clothes apparently. The staff here is very nice. They do not point you to the area you are looking for, they walk you to it. The store was packed, yet they stopped to listen and help you. My daughters found what hey were looking for. My husband and sons struck out until the young man suggested the big and tall shop. Ralph Lauren is my fav American designer. I wear a lot of RL sweaters over dress shirts. I have bought the entire 2012 spring polo custom collection. I have just about every color sweater vest and sweater. As well as the 2013 classic tee shirt collection. I have had custom polos made and my boar shoes are RL. I think it is because I grew up in NY. The little man on the horse symbolizes NY. I have always remembered when I was little having hats and shirts that had the RL American flag on it. Maybe I'm crazy, who knows. What I do know is I'm a big fan of RL. This is my second time shopping at this RL. They did not carry pillows so I had to go to macys for pillows not a deal breaker tho. Usually I go to the RL in manhattan. I am upstate tho. someone checked in to the commons on yelp and it reminded me I had to go to polo and burberry to get gifts. I have been to Woodbury commons a few times. I tend to avoid it because of the suitcase people. I have nothing against people from other country's or races. But they flock to the commons by the bus load most of them can't speak any English and they bump into you with there suit cases and are mostly rude. Besides that, the store is nice. I called ahead because I was afraid they wouldn't carry this scarf I wanted. I saw the cable knot teddy bear scarf online. I know the commons usually has discounted stuff or items from last season. So I called In to see if they had it in stock. They did not stock this item but they ordered it to the store for me. The scarf is great. I can't wait for the person the open it on X mas. As for a guys gift you can never go wrong with a polo hat. The only thing that annoyed me is I called 4 different stores and apparently the polo hats with the leather strap have been discontinued. I wish they would revive the hats with the leather strap. Overall. This store is nice if you have to get shirts and socks. Or you have to get some other designer items. We went to buy a comforter for our bed on October 1st at around 4:30pm. First off the gentleman at the counter was complaining to the young girl with long blonde hair that he didn't want to be at work. I overhead this unprofessional comment as I approached the desk to ask a few questions. The blond girl was not smiling and gave short one worded answers and obviously did not want to be there either. Bad attitude spreads like cancer in a business. All four of us felt the negativity from the staff. Just a heads up to the management that an attitude adjustment is needed for the staff. If you don't like your job, find a new one. Don't take it out on your customers as you will only ruin the reputation of the business that you are representing. Do yourself a favor and everyone else a favor and get new job that doesn't involve customer service. read more

This place had made my closet SUPA phat since 1995. I live by the POLO code. My wife rolls her eyes when I make a bee line for this POLO store. (while I point to the Dooney & Bourke store and she magically disappears) I would come here everyday if I could. Excellent selection and really great prices. This is the factory outlet and I don't care. I always find some fly shit here and I'm always rocking some hot gear that makes people check me out. I do believe in brand loyalty and I am drooling at the fact of getting some Baby Polo clothing for my daughter. It's virtually impossible for any Polo lover to come here and leave without bags. Not my favorite Woodbury store. Giant. WAY too crowded. Messy. MESSY! Tons of sweaters - but with little variety. I rarely like any of the women's styles they carry. The menswear is better, but basic still. I'm not a fan of the giant polo horse design, or any of the large, bold prints. Just not my style at all. So I was here today and the customer service here is horrible . I understand that memorial day weekend are busy for you guys but when I was checking out today everything went fine with me. But the person next to me which was a woman trying to checkout. Thinking it was a certain price, she was in a disgreement with the cashier. Usually the cashier would politely tell the customer the price and show them in a respectful manner but this guy was making faces, giving attitude, and sassing back. At the end the cashier said I'm going to show you the receipt and your gonna apologize to me even though all she did was believe in what she "saw". Where do I start? In general, I'm not much of a polo RL wearer but I have to give this store high praise. I've gone to this store 3 times in the past week. I wanted polo bear apparel and they were able to help immensely. The store is large and clean with a solid floorplan. I also saw their customize your own station and wow! You mean I can embroider or patch basically anything in the store with whatever I want? Totally worth the trip. I ended up copping two sweaters with XL polo bears on them and they're just amazing. Everyone at the store was so helpful. No matter how hectic the store got (this is usually a very busy store and it's Thanksgiving week) everyone was kind and made sure I got what I wanted in the end. I felt like I was being taken care of regardless of all the other customers. They're also amazing with their covid policies. Specific entrance and exits, hand sanitizer everywhere, employees properly masked, and floor markings to ensure social distancing while waiting in line. This place is only good for doing cardio in super freezing cold weather with relatively higher elevation. Trekking from store to store only to find everything is the same price as the regular stores . These aren't outlet store prices. It's just overpriced out of season clothing. On top of that you have to search for cool stuff harder than you would search at a thrift store. Been here probably about 6 to 8 times and I've never found anything that I love. Anything you see here or find here can be found cheaper at any Macy's department store. I can't say I'll never come back again because I'm always getting dragged out here. Favorite store of all time. Yes, Polo is a slightly pricy brand but they always have discounts. The store is very big and has so many things inside. The quality of clothing is wonderful. You can wash it hundreds of times and the quality never goes down. The store is really clean. And to be honest smells lovely. The lines are long on the weekends but you don't spend more than 10 minutes waiting on a very busy day. Love this store and is my favorite brand. read more

Really hit or miss on deals. The selection is large, but includes the cheaper items and last season's clothes so you get what you pay for. The massive hordes that come in by bus also clear the store out early, so get in before the busses for a good selection and less fighting over the last shirt.
