Plenty of stores to choose from clothes to high-tech products, and of course food. A restaurant called 110 Grill is open and the Village Restaurant Pancake Factory (owned also in Pleasant Valley). Many stores come and go over time, which makes it difficult to find what's needed and for enjoyment. The anchor stores hold a shine to this day except for JCPenney and Sears which closed, bringing some less traffic. New stores have opened recently involving a lot of entertainment activities for kids and young adults, such as the Space Adventure Mini Golf course featuring arcades. With more openings happening, I see the Galleria still being a busy mall in the next several years or so, but the vibe has changed so much compared to the mid-late 20th century.

No customer service. The manager had a problem with a teenage boy and his mother. No Tuxedo was ready for his prom at Beacon NY highschool. They put the wrong date on the ticket. I walked out of the store. I went back to the store the next day in the morning. They were busy. I waited 30 minutes by the back register. No customer service. A lady manager named Danielle, finally came over to me because I asked a employee to send the store manager over. I made a complaint. That I have been waiting for 30 minutes and no customer service. I was here yesterday and the same thing happened to me. The manager was upset about my complaint. She raised her voice at me and said. " Well. I am the only one here and there is only one of me. I can't do everything!" I was shocked by her attitude towards me and her unprofessional behavior. She asked me what I can do for you? I handed her my receipt. I asked her to please get me my pants. She walked away. I spoke to the lady behind me. We both were talking about the manager unprofessional behavior. Danielle, came back and apologized to me and told me I could get a free pair of socks. She gave me my pants and socks and I walked out of the store. I will never go back. You lost me as a customer. Poor Customer Service. Poor Attitude from the Manager. I read online from Google Reviews and other reviews this store has many customer service complaints and from both employees and from store Mangers. Of course, sales and discounts will help significantly, and there is a decent amount to choose from the racks. During the weekday, it can be a challenge to find assistance compared to the weekends, typical in the retail world of course. All of the departments here are kept up stock-wise, but recovering could definitely be an improvement. No issues at this Macy's.

It has been my go-to store for clothing for close to three decades but now I can't shop there anymore because they don't carry clothing in my size. Yet the petite section remains. There's a word for that...what is it...oh yes-discrimination. Macy's is openly discriminating against women in larger bodies. And their Backstage section is low quality, which is where I've been directed to shop, as well as online. But online shopping isn't the same. This is disappointing news and I will be cancelling my Macy's card.

That's traditional, walking out of a store with merchandise under your arm and no bag doesn't look honest. It wasn't until later that I noticed there was a charge for $.10 plus .01 in tax for the bag. A shopping bag; that's not quite big enough to hold more than a shirt or a 1 liter bottle of soda. That's insane. I have bags in the trunk; but I wasn't expecting to shop for anything that day, at the galleria. I'm used to that now, when going to the grocery store; not Malls.

If anything is wrong with your work performance, THEY'LL WAIT UNTIL 5-10 MINUTES WHEN YOUR ABOUT TO LEAVE. You can't call out without wellness but you need to WORK 26 HOURS FOR 1 HOUR OF WELLNESS. Your wellness is what covers you for being late but they barely give good hours so you won't be able to make that. They don't even have a current manager. You'll come into work to no one doing there job and you have to pick up the slack. The stores always dirty. You can leave a drink there and it will be there for days. I've seen this with my own eyes. The new "manager" cat is extremely unprofessional always talking about "her man", "her man" literally like that, mind you she looks 50 with a horrible body all together... Why are you more worried about your man then closing the store. She stated something about her having herpes. Like this store is a train wreck!!! The HR christen doesn't responded to emails even though they beg you to call hr if anything is wrong. She doesn't answer her phone or emails when it comes to regular employees but let a manager say something about you she answers. I'm still waiting on a response from may-June. If any of you managers are reading this or even better someone in a higher position that christen please get rid of these people they don't do there job. Especially christen and cat. They need to be removed from this job.

The last time we ask her to check, she can't visibly irritated, because she obviously didn't think 2 is the limit of times a manager can help parents find the right shoe for their kid's recital.
