Van Heusen's outlet store prices are unbeatable. They always seem to have some sort of…read more"blockbuster" sale going on. Plus if you sign up for the Van Heusen rewards program at the store, they e-mail you more 5 or 10 dollars off coupons every once in a while. The store itself's well-stocked and well-kept. Employees are helpful. All in all, Van Heusen's a great choice for menswear in particular and the prices couldn't be cheaper.

So you end up having to buy 2 to get about 30-40% off both shoes which is not really that good of a deal. I have been here a few times and every time they have been busy, but not packing people in like sardines (phew...some of us prefer to breath while we do our shopping). This may be b/c this particular outlet is not located by a major booming metropolis, and therefore out of the way for most folk. And, yea, a few pieces are still kinda dated but a majority of it is not which makes for some pretty good deals. This store makes me never want to buy full-priced-off-the-shelves Coach items again. Compared to the other Illinois Coach outlet stores I have taken my mother to, she enjoys this one the best due to their low prices and large inventory. Staff is very polite, professional, and helpful. The store is very clean, spacious, and does not look picked through. You don't have to worry about long lines here because this outlet mall is way out of the way of anything. As far as items for males, they do have more options now than they have had in the past but it is limited. The other stores in the outdoor outlet plaza are nice too but restaurant options are scarce. Worth a visit if you want a new Coach purse at an affordable price.

Most items are for women, but there are basic socks and underwear for men. Without an additional sale or promotion, the prices at these Hanes outlets are not deep discounts. The salesperson at this store was really friendly, helpful, and patient despite working the post-Thanksgiving shopping craziness.

The next sales person informed me it was actually buy 2 get 2. At the register, I bought 10 items and the 5 most expensive rang at full price and my "free" items were those that cost $10 as opposed to my $50 items. When I complained I was told they could do 2 transactions, but the promotion was buy 4 get 4. I ended up spending nearly $200 when my math indicated closer to $125 because I literally bought 2 of some things and expected one of them to be free. I have since returned 3 items I found cheaper elsewhere. (Yes, a department store was cheaper than the brand outlet). $46, $46, and $40 in value. I was returned $63. Huh? The manager literally rerang other items at full price. Since I too am in retail, I questioned the math and she informed me I just couldn't keep the "free" stuff. I explained that I did not expect complete ticket price to be refunded, but that 50% seemed a little off. She stopped talking to me and just handed me my receipt. I am not a big "boycotter" but I will never go to that store or buy those brands again, ever. EVER.

When I was a kid, my mom would offer up $20 to the salesperson who could find a pair of shoes that fit, didn't hurt my feet, and that I liked. So when I got new orthotic insoles recently, I was prepared for more of the same. I decided to give Heel to Toe a try because I saw that they also do orthotics, so I figured if anyone could help, it would be these folks. They did not disappoint! While I didn't find anything in the store that day, the staff was so incredibly helpful I knew I had to buy from them somehow. They took the time to measure my feet (turns out they're wider than I thought), talk to me about my issues and what I wanted, look in the back for overlooked shoes, and then finally brought me manufacturer catalogues so I could order them. They knew which shoes would be likely to work and which wouldn't, which saved me a ton of time and frustration. I ended up buying two pairs of boots, and they both still look and feel amazing.
