Dr. Saknoff, DDS, has been my dentist for many years. I had what I thought was a chipped tooth. It was a much greater problem with a chipped crown. I had a horrible experience. I do have first point out that the front desk staff is wonderful. I had an appointment at 2:30pm yesterday and I arrived at 2:20pm I had some tooth sensitivity and wanted Dr.Sangnoff to examine my pain. The dental assistant did my cleaning first. She took about 45 min, very painful. Dr. Sangnoff came in for 10 min then excused herself, she was going to come back. I was still sitting in that chair at 4pm waiting for her to come back. I can hear Dr.Sangnoff with another patient next door to me??? I had an appointment at 2:30pm and why am I still waiting???? It was so Unprofessional and dismissive. The dental assistant felt bad when I asked her are we done??? She told me I'll go check, she came back and told me, the only thing I needed besides my filling. I needed the laser and fluoride treatment which is not covered by my insurance. I waited another 10 minutes and I got up and left. I called on my way home to ask Why I had an appointment and only saw the dentist for 10'min and it was very obvious that the dentist was with a different patient and never came back to finish my issues. The front desk person was so nice but she couldn't even give me an explanation. I never heard from anyone or an apology for such bad service. I will No longer continue seeing that dentist. I also won't recommend this dental office. So unprofessional. read more

I've always taken good care of my oral hygiene and never encountered such a significant issue before. Since moving to this neighborhood, I began visiting this dentistry. It's the first time a dentistry has recommended so much work all at once and hinted for my teeth to look "perfect." I get excited about going to Disneyland, seeing the latest James Bond movie, eating great Chinese food and now I enjoy going to the dentist to see the great progress I am making. I have been to a few practices during the course of my rather prolific dental journey. I have divided my overall oral health into two categories; (i) life before a mouth guard (ii) life after a mouth guard. The first part of my odyssey (life before a mouth guard) was pleasant. I never dreaded the dentist because there was nothing traumatic about my overall oral health. However, that changed after being diagnosed with teeth clenching which required me to wear a mouth guard. After that, my overall oral hygiene and gums began to take a toll and despite having dentists that could have tracked this and resolved my issue placing me back in category (i), I fell victim to dentists and dental hygienists who did not pay attention. My gums declined to such a degree that I was diagnosed with fairly significant periodontal disease by several dentists. Extremely dissatisfied with my dental status I sought to find a dentist and office that could help resolve my issues. Dr. Wilson at Pomerado Cosmetic Dentistry provided me with a plan specifically geared toward resolving my periodontal disease restoring my gums to the aforementioned category (i) status. I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Wilson and this practice. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson and all the dental providers at Pomerado Cosmetic Dentistry including Lorrie (the office manger) and the entire back office staff who are experts with insurance, reimbursement, and the various co-pays involved. I want to emphasize that the solution that Dr. Wilson prescribed could have been accomplished by any dentist who wanted to pay attention but up until my first visit one year ago no dental professional was interested in providing me with a solution that restored my gums to the healthy state they are now in. No one enjoys having teeth filled, but Dr Wilson and his entire staff made the process as easy as possible from my initial visit, diagnosis, actual work to the follow up. This dental office is simply AMAZING!!!! My whole life I have been absolutely TERRIFIED of dentist visits. I have been traumatized in the past with horrible dentists that have done irresponsible, irreparable damage to my teeth, and I have lost several teeth due to this. And as a result of this PTSD, I was never very diligent with my dental care, thereby losing even MORE teeth. But thankfully, I discovered Pomerado Cosmetic Dentistry in 2015, and through their patience, love, skill and determination the people here (ESPECIALLY Dr. Valerie Sacknoff) have restored my faith and trust in dentists, and most importantly, my teeth!!!! Yes, I have lost quite a few teeth that can never be recovered from past dentists, at least not without implants or whatnot. But the teeth I still have are now healthy and beautiful and I can actually ENJOY my visits here!!!!! To illustrate how much I TRUST and love the people here, on quite a few occasions during particularly long visits (like for root canals) I have actually FALLEN ASLEEP while they work on my mouth!!!! And that is without ANY sedation at all! Yes, they do offer PLENTY of sedation options here, but once these beautiful people have gained my trust and faith, I have never needed it. They are just THAT GOOD here. No exaggeration at all! So please, if you are considering a new dentist at all, give this office a try. Dr. Sacknoff and Dr. Wilson are ANGELS.
