This locksmith should be the first place you call period. I accidentally locked my keys in my car trunk, and Chuck came within 20 minutes of my call on a rainy Sunday to help out. I was able to drive my car in a very short amount of time because he works that quick. The quote he gave me on the phone is what I paid, which is so much better than other places I called that told me it'd cost $49 for them JUST to send someone plus an unspecified labor fee. I visited Chuck's little kiosk today to get a duplicate car key programmed. Unfortunately, I was sold the wrong key on Amazon but Chuck and his son explained that the problem was an incompatibility with the key's computer chip. Chuck was great! Super friendly and you can tell off the bat that he knows what he's doing. He was even offering me different type of keys, I was looking into getting those switch blade type keys for my old corolla 2013 key, and he said no problem. He gave me a reasonable price as well. This guy was amazing. Seriously.....wicked fast, very professional, and just an all-around nice guy. I locked my keys in the house on my way to the gym, because I was so focused on.....hell, I've got no idea, but it wasn't on the keys. Anyway, after realizing that I'm not gonna break a window, nor am I gonna break my neck trying to conjure up my inner spider monkey by climbing to the 2nd story. This was on a Sunday, too. And mid-morning. But he was there in about 15 minutes, as he was finishing up at another lock-out. Took him about 5 minutes (including unpacking and repacking gear) to get me in to my precious keys. He offered to make me a free copy of the house key as well---he had all the equipment in the van. I had the chipped key made and programmed for my '07 Mazda 3 and the price was very reasonable. The toughest thing was finding their kiosk in the shopping center. I should have read the other reviews regarding that. I don't know if Pomona Locksmith is the cheapest but I believe that they are honest and fair. Sometime back I contacted them for a family friend who lost their keys for a 2004 Camry. So in talking with Chuck from PL he said his charge would be $130 to drive to their house, unlock the Camry doors and make the programmed key for it. He suggested that our friend contact the dealer with the key information and see if they can obtain a duplicate for a whole lot less. Based on that, I told myself if I ever needed locksmith services, Pomona Locksmith would be my first call. read more

Never in a million years would I have pictured myself, driving to a locksmith to have a piggy bank unlocked. I guess when you have children, never say never. My 7 year old was so distraught when she accidentally dropped her piggy bank key into the actual bank coon slot. I tried emailing the company about getting a replacement key and no response. I then emailed many locksmiths around the area. Most quoted me $45-$75 just to have the piggy bank open! I understand a business needs to make money, so I get it. I love this company. I would try to get him on AAAs list but he is too popular already for new business like that. It says a lot when a business is successful by word of mouth vs advertising. It means they treat all customers with courtesy and the same good service because they know that customers experiences with the business is what brings return business and referrals. THAT is the earmark of a great company NOT how effective an advertising campaign was. Chuck is an honest businessman with integrity and that is the gist of it. Professionalism: 10/10 On Time: 10/10 Prices: Fair So I got this number from my mechanic because i lost my motorcycle key...i honestly don't know where it went and i have weekends off. i lost my key Friday and spent all day Saturday looking and cleaning the house to make sure no corner was upturned. And I called chuck and i got his quote, then i asked him if he accepts card or cash? (he says both but card has a fee) so i knew what i would be looking at worse comes to worse on Sunday. Chuck tells me he doesn't want to go out into the rain and i cant blame him since people cant drive in the rain and my motorcycle is outside. Sundays arrives and i call him at 12pm sharp right when his business opens chuck tells me he'll arrive in 15mins right when the rain stops and he arrives ON TIME! I uncover my bike and he takes a look and gets to work. My motorcycle key does 3 things it starts my bike, opens my gas tank, and my steering lock. replacing all 3 would not be ideal and Chucks price was fair considering he is traveling to my home and offer his services. chuck works so expeditiously he finishes 3 keys for me that all work on all 3 keyholes on my motorcycle and wraps up a digital and hard copy receipt before the rain starts again! I had been storing my car for several months, and when I needed to move it, it was dead and I didn't have a key. Yelp reviews led me here. Chuck came right over to where I was in 20 minutes and quoted me $160 for a new key without the remote (he told me that if I ever found the old key, I could come by his shop and he'd program it for me) and got to work right away. He called a friend to come and jump-start my car while he worked, too, free of charge and totally something he didn't have to do at all. SIX STARS!!! We had to call them on a Christmas Eve at 4pm. And he was there in 5 minutes all happy to help us! On Christmas Eve! It doesn't end there. He gave us a COMPLIMENTARY key copy in another minute from the back of his van. Just to be nice. But it doesn't even end there. My 5-year-old son felt so grateful that he tipped him a dollar and some change and this locksmith repaid him by showing up at our door the next day or two with a gift bag full of toy cars! WHOA! Chuck is amazing! This is actually the second time my boyfriend and I used his services. He is fast, efficient, and amazingly friendly. My boyfriend had realized our car key had broke when he was about to leave on his lunch break. Once he called me I immediately began calling for estimates. Some places were charging as much as $200, but Chuck charged only half that price. To top it off he also gave us a second key at no additional charge. Chucky is awesome friendly and quick. We just moved in to a new home and Chucky gave us a quote right over the phone and told me to call anytime. He did this on the weekend outside of business hours and still answered his phone. I ended up calling a few locations and only 1 other place beat his price so Chucky told me he would beat that price or re-key one lock for free. Chucky made sure we were happy and instead of just re-keying, Chucky also cleaned off the knobs that were painted over, gave us a good price on brand new hardware for the garage doors (only charged us for one to help us with the cost), fixed a door that wouldn't close, and gave us a free padlock and as many keys as we wanted free of charge. I love this place! I bought a used Yaris and unfortunately the dealership only had one key. I wanted to get a duplicate, just in case. I called Pomona Locksmith a few days ahead for a quote before I actually went in. Chuck answered, gave me a quote, and even suggested buying a key online and bringing it in because it would probably be a better price. I called Toyota dealerships in the area and they all wanted about the same: $150 to buy a key (with remote head) and $120 to cut and program it. (WTF?) I bought my key (with remote head) for $30 on eBay and it cost me $70 to cut and program it. I saved $170? WOW. Chuck was super friendly and helpful. Seriously, this place has excellent customer service. I was probably out of there within 30 minutes on a Friday afternoon. If I ever need help with keys, I'm definitely coming back here. read more

Broke my key in my trunk the other day, luckily I had bookmarked this business from some random yelp stocking. It's a small kiosk in the middle of a Mexican Market parking lot... I drove through and almost missed it!! A couple of customers were getting keys made when "Chuck" drove up and immediacy asked if I had been helped. I told him my problem pointing at my car and he said no problem quoted me a price I wasn't expecting as he went back to his van to get his tools... in less than a minute he had my broken key out and on his way to cut me a new key!!!
