I got a last minute duplicate car key made with zero appointment and excellent service at a great price. This locksmith is located on the right hand center of the parking lot in a little shack. They handle COVID precautions with masks, a glass shield between and a stick with a little catcher for you to drop your keys in to keel distance. All in all, my dealership was going to charge me $124 for a duplicate key with the programming and I got it done here for $75 in less than 15 minutes. I wanted to get a remote controls and alarm system on my car since when I bought my 2013 Scion XB at a dealer shop, it did not came with a control. He asked me for my scion's vin number and proceeded to look up and see if he had a controller for it, which he did. Than he told me to come anytime, which was today as I review this to you guys. There are so many good reviews on here about Chuck, but I just have to add one more. Our garage door wouldn't open and we didn't have the release key, so we searched for locksmiths in the area. Two said they couldn't make me a new key, but could pick the locks for over $100. We called Chuck and he was able to open the door and make us two keys for less than the other quotes for just picking the lock. He also came by right away and was such a nice, genuine guy. This was an easy 5-Stars! It all starts with customer service. We have a rental property in a surrounding city and it was about to be leased, but we needed a new lock for our mailbox since the Home Depot Brands kept breaking. We came here and all of our troubles were relieved. The guy, I can't remember his name, said our problem was having a customized mailbox, and said that the regular locks from Home Depot wouldn't work and the proper mailbox lock we needed would actually run us a few hundred dollars for the parts and installation etc. He personally didn't have time to make a run to the property but was very helpful over the phone and through text. A day after speaking with him over the phone and still not finding what we needed, he texted us a photo of the proper piece but we still showed up to the business. He once again looked at all the photos we had then told us several options and at the end of the day he gave us 8 locks FREE OF CHARGE to try and use for the mailbox. They were old and used parts but it worked out really well. It also isn't too shabby that they contract with the city of Claremont. You've gotta be doing something right for working with any city. I got several quotes for repacking the key and fob shell for my 2012 Honda Odyssey, this was the lowest offer from any local locksmith. They're little father and son shop was great, they had the speciality laser cutter needed for these Honda keys, and it took less than 10 minutes. I thought I needed both my fob shells replaced ($49 each) but they told me that one could simply be fixed with a spare part they had and didn't charge me! Saved me $49 on the spot! Others quoted $150 per key, the deal shop wants over $250, the closest quote I got was $65 each from a less well reviewed shop.
