We came here for dinner on the recommendation from one of the folks working at our hotel. It was really nice to be able to sit out on the patio, and enjoy the evening. For dinner I had the pasta funghi, which had a very light cream sauce and mushrooms. It was really garlicky and delicious. My mother had the fish and chips which she said was absolutely wonderful. This restaurant had good reviews on yelp so we gave it a try. I will say that the service was good and the waiter was very attentive. When he saw one of us arrive on crutches, he immediately asked another diner who just sat down to move upstairs so we could occupy a table on the main floor. That was very nice. There was a lot of variety in the menu, something for everyone . Fish, tapas, pastas , all good. I asked my friend if he would go back and he said "probably not" because he was not so impressed. Mediocre food and horrible service. They charged us 2 euros per person for stale bread (without telling us there was a charge or asking if we wanted it) along with 4 euros for tap water, despite the fact that we bought other drinks. Went here for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. We loved it!! They were able to seat us right away in a designated area for walk ins, which was nice because we were turned away from many places for not having one. Anyways, we started off with the white wine sauce mussels and they were so good!!! The bread was also really good-fresh and warm. We also got hummus and lamb kebabs. A-maz-ing. Almost forgot we ordered a main entree. I got the carbonara pasta and my boyfriend got the goat cheese salad. My pasta was really good but not as great as I was expecting after the appetizers. The goat cheese salad was well received but we were shocked that the goat cheese was a literally a wheel of goat cheese on top of the salad. Not an issue, just unexpected. I am ultimately giving this place a 5 star rating but I did have some issues. Service for our table took a while. Many people were receiving their courses before us even though we sat down first. Other than that, it was great. Definitely recommend the mussels! read more

We sort of stumbled on this, in search of another lunch spot. It was busy on a Friday afternoon, but we found a spot outside. (Only to move back inside after 20 min due to some rain. Wuss, i know...) We had pasta, very recommendable (in an italian place, go figure...) and stayed there for about 3 hours. Had to be annoying for the restaurant not to be able to have it occupied by new guests but we were not rushed in any way, not by the staff nor by our own agenda ;) The waitress was ever so friendly, the other staff members were not so cheerful but nevertheless helpful. 3* because i want to find out if dinner is as pleasant as well. Such a friendly and lovely atmopshere here! The inside was so cozy and warm with the yellowish lighting and intimate seating. The wait staff was friendly and the food was exactly what we were looking for on our first night in Amsterdam! We got the caprese salad, potatos bravas, my mom got fried calimari (I didn't eat it bc I don't like seafood but she loved it!). I can't remember exactly what else we got we stayed mainly on the tapas small plates menu but I don't think you could go wrong! Our carafe of white wine (recommended by our waitress) was perfect too, we told her we didn't like too sweet and she got it right. This was quality Italian food at an affordable price. The service portions were huge so there is no way to stay hungry after a visit here. Lasagna -- the dish was a generous portion. We walked hereafter visiting the Van Gogh Museum. Great local Italian Resturant. Amazing food and very quick service. Also a great choice if your vegetarians. A lot of pasta choices and good Mediterranean mix. Hummus and tzatziki were a great start with Turkish bread. And to top it off great service. We were in the area and starving so we "yelped" and found this little gem. The restaurant is in a great area of the city and very close to the museums. We sat outside which was great because the weather was amazing. The waitress came out and I asked her about a few of the dishes. She commented that she didn't eat anything in the menu. This comment drove the couple sitting next to us away and they left the restaurant. We stayed and I chose something I thought was gonna be tasty. I had the mushroom ravioli with cream sauce. It was literally the best ravioli and sauce I have ever tasted. My husband had the pasta with meat sauce and said it was just ok. He tasted mine and was begging for more. I highly recommend the ravioli dishes. The pastas are made in-house and are really great. The waitstaff is ok. Hopefully our waitress tries more dishes so she can recommend options for newcomers like we were. read more

We waiting a few minutes to get seated but without reservation very much expected. The ravioli ricotta funghi was delicious with a wonderfully creamy sauce. Too bad we didn't have trim for the soufflé. read more
