George is just that honest with you. He is straight up front with you on costs and no hidden fees whatsoever. After receiving my vehicle back, I was unhappy with the paint finish, color match, and overall quality of the repair work. To make sure I was being fair and reasonable, I had the vehicle inspected by two separate independent body shops for a second and third opinion regarding the paint quality and whether the finish was close to OEM standards. Unfortunately, both shops advised me that the color match was noticeably off and that the paint materials used appeared to be lower quality than expected for a professional collision repair. That confirmation raised even more concern for me regarding the overall workmanship and repair standards. Looking back, I also realized the facility appeared to focus heavily on larger commercial and fleet vehicles rather than higher quality private vehicle refinishing. The condition and organization of the yard personally gave me concerns about the level of detail and care being applied to customer vehicles. I understand every repair situation can have challenges, and I tried to remain patient and respectful throughout the process. However, based on the final result and the independent opinions I received afterward, I cannot honestly say I was satisfied with the quality of work performed on my vehicle. She needed a major repair on the engine and she was recommended by his wife, who she knows, saying he does excellent work and can get the job done. Well, I guess he technically did get it up and running buy but at the expense of months of ignoring calls and texts, the car getting STOLEN because he just leaves them out on the street and tried denying it was until we got it out of him, not wanting to provide info on what he did, trying to get us to pay for replacement keys that were stolen while it was under his care, and absolute terrible paint job/body work that he tried saying she chose the cheapest option which she hadn't.The paint is already bubbling in a couple spots, lots of overspray, he obviously never cleaned and prepped the car prior to painting because you can see all the grains through the paint, can still see spots he didn't or poorly filled, was just overall a s**t job. I would not trust this shop to even change oil. Debated on whether or not to even post this review but honestly I truly hope his business goes under which I wouldn't wish on businesses I dislike in general but man is this guy a wreck. Only for SMOG!! Kai did not make me aware he was the new owner. I told him I needed car to pass smog so I could get it ready to sell. I did not sign any invoice. Over the next few months I called and asked what was going on with car and he said he needed to drive it more to figure out what's wrong with the vehicle. I even went to the DMV for him to get temporary registration done on it and still after that he had not found out what was wrong. I called again to finally tell him I need car back. He wanted me to sell it to him for $7000. I said no thank you I am looking to sell it for more. When they brought my car around the front of shop the 19 inch rims were gone and replaced with something else!!!The car was filthy and the exterior had damage. The license plates were removed and replaced with some other plates from a car rental. It looked as though parts were removed and the car was not recognizable. I am the original owner and garaged this car since I bought it in 2003. I have kept this car in beautiful condition until I made the mistake of bringing it here, because I thought it was same owner that I had good luck with before. When I dropped it off it was in great condition. Kai wasn't even there and they had to call him. I told him I wanted my rims back and the car cleaned and put back in the shape I brought it in. Car was left out and the rims were stolen?!?!? My family friend is with law enforcement and we finally called the state to inspect the car and shop. Kai is shady. He sent me a bill for over 1200 for crap I did not ask him to do and for the cleaning and damages he made to the car.
