I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after trying to handle this professionally, I feel it is important to share my experience with Falcon Collision Repair. After receiving my vehicle back, I was unhappy with the paint finish, color match, and overall quality of the repair work. To make sure I was being fair and reasonable, I had the vehicle inspected by two separate independent body shops for a second and third opinion regarding the paint quality and whether the finish was close to OEM standards. Unfortunately, both shops advised me that the color match was noticeably off and that the paint materials used appeared to be lower quality than expected for a professional collision repair. That confirmation raised even more concern for me regarding the overall workmanship and repair standards. Looking back, I also realized the facility appeared to focus heavily on larger commercial and fleet vehicles rather than higher quality private vehicle refinishing. The condition and organization of the yard personally gave me concerns about the level of detail and care being applied to customer vehicles. I understand every repair situation can have challenges, and I tried to remain patient and respectful throughout the process. However, based on the final result and the independent opinions I received afterward, I cannot honestly say I was satisfied with the quality of work performed on my vehicle. They took advantage of a lady, knowing that she doesn't know any difference. I tried requesting them To fix this . But in their release this claimer, it makes you agree that you're completely satisfied and that you won't go back for anything else.. Please be careful and read the fine print as these people are kind of scamming people on the ability to make things right. Even court wouldn't be able to assist you with their signed document. Me and my wife are now stuck with a vehicle with aftermarket parts that don't fit Properly. This is other than the fact that she had to come out of pocket for rental vehicle vehicles since they never completed the car on time. My wife, even mentioned to me that she tried to reach out by stopping by the facility to point out the defects in their job in person. Facts are Falcon did in fact receive violations and the Bureau of automotive repair did have to come down there and teach you guys how to run your business and your paperwork was being done incorrectly. All the rust was seen and the pictures I have of the car before the work began shows it. All parts were provided prior to any work being done. The car looks significantly worse after Falcon worked on it than before it went into your shop. Again anyone thinking of going to Falcon if you have a old school classic car BEWARE of the butchers. The deal was $4,000. And after they got some free Christmas spending cash (my money $3,000) they tried to change the deal. Stay away from Falcon Auto Collision in Berkeley. As someone who is always unfortunate to be a victim of hit and run, or someone bumping my car while it is parked in a lot I have used Falcon Collision many times. Herson and his brothers have been very accommodating every time I need their services. They will tow your car if needed if it is unsafe to drive. They will help you talk to your insurance to get your car repaired and even coordinate with a rental car company if your car needs to be in the shop longer than expected. Their shop in Berkeley is really nice. There is a clean and comforatable lounge/waiting room for you to wait for your car. My car always looks amazing when Falcon Collision fixes it. It looks brand new. They went the extra mile by checking my brakes, the fluids, they even repaired my automatic window which was not working. You really get excellent service and work at this shop! I've used a few body shops in the North Bay area and they're all very good, restoring my vehicles back to the condition they were before the accidents, so there's not much to write about. But last month my 2019 F150 needed body work after a young man crashed into the left side of my truck. My company suggested Falcon in Concord. After 2 weeks, as promised, I came to pick up the truck and of course it was fixed beautifully as expected and the bonus was the detailing job they had done to my truck, inside and outside. Looked like a brand new truck, again. Got home, I noticed that they'd replaced one of the light bulb in my tail lights too. A week later, my wife said the AC didn't work, I spoke to Herson and he told me they only worked on the body but bring it back anyway so they could take a look. Herson had a technician came out and troubleshot and replaced a fuse to get the AC going. Now, that was above and beyond customer service. I was not only happy but really delighted. Thanks Herson! Oh, I forgot to mention that they picked up my truck from my home in Suisun City and brought it to Concord to work on it too. I couldn't say anything bad about these guys. I unfortunately had a little accident in my work vehicle "Volvo XC60" a few weeks back. I had a small dent and the actual cap had fallen off. I contacted my companies vehicle service company Wheels and they suggested a place near home in Emeryville. I was very lucky to find these guys and thankful that they could get me in. Not only did they get me in that day for a photo but they scheduled me in for a repair the following Monday. They even contacted a rental company for me to pick me up from the shop so I could continue to work without a car. It can be hard to find a local repair shop that will treat you fairly while doing everything in their power to keep the experience positive while maintaining quality & efficiency . From day one, they team were extremely warm and patient. I will defiantly be referring Falcon to any friends and local Yelpers. They are just not happy with my decision to not fix my Subaru after a bad accident a few years ago. Ever since I bought my new car, it has been a serious headache, because while it requires essentially zero maintenance (besides standard stuff), but it's an accident and break-in MAGNET! So, Falcon is my body shop of choice. My Scion has visited... hmmm, one time in 2008, two times in 2009, and soon to be the first of 2010. Herson is really easy to deal with and his team put out quality work. They'll coordinate your towing and everything to help alleviate your headache early on. My 2006 car might have crap resale value after all the accidents on its Carfax, but at least Falcon makes it look shiny and new, each time. I had a mixed experience here. Herson was very personable and friendly, and gave the impression of really caring about his work and wanting to be honest with customers. However, after Falcon's work on my car has been "finished," I'm a little dissatisfied. My car was rear-ended so I took it to a few places for a quote on body repairs as well as trunk re-alignment (the trunk was not closing). Falcon's quote actually was significantly higher than another that I received, but I had gotten a good impression from Herson so I called to ask if he could match the quote--and he agreed, so Falcon it was. During the repair, there were a series of delays because a part that Herson ordered apparently was not the correct one--multiple times. Eventually I was in a bit of a time crunch because I needed my car for a trip out of town, so at the last second Herson managed to get it finished and kindly offered to come in late one night after hours (when I returned from my work) to give me the car. Upon picking it up, things seemed to be in okay order at first--except that the trunk is still not functioning properly. It will close now, but there is a problem with the latch or sensor; now it will not open with the switch, only the key, and the display constantly indicates it is open. Not a big deal, and I had to leave, so Herson said to just come drop it back by sometime and he would get that last part taken care of, no worries. Well... When I did bring it back, he then explained that he would need another $300 to fix the remaining part. In addition, the alignment that was done on my trunk is off (I can no longer properly attach my bike rack to the trunk for this reason). I understand that the trunk sensor situation was perhaps "unforeseen," but overall I got the impression that the quality of the work done on my car was lowered in order to meet the lower quote. Herson casually and vaguely referenced doing some things differently in order to lower the price (not when I called to ask if he could match the quote, but once I had already made the appointment and brought the car in), so I suppose I should have expected something similar--but it doesn't feel like good business practices to me. Overall I have decided to get the remaining repairs on my trunk done elsewhere. read more

Since the suspension was affected, the guys at Falcon had multiple test drives and did not release the car until it passed their standard of flawless driving. In the past two years I've taken 2 cars, a 9-year old Toyota and a 2-year old Honda, to Falcon for very minor body work prior to selling them. The work done on each car was as promised - the paint was matched nicely, the curb rash was miraculously gone and the interior was nicely shampooed and vacuumed. My only complaint is that they needed more time with the Honda and I had to call to find out it wouldn't be ready until the next morning. The Toyota looked great and was sold in less than a day.
