Now hear me out; I know it was free and beggars can't be choosers, but they are giving these samples out so that people try them out, right? From my experience, they shouldn't have bothered. If a business sucks, giving out free samples is just a waste of their money. I got to experience how much they suck, but at least I didn't have to pay for it! So first off, this place is only open until 6 on weekdays, until 4 on Saturdays, and not at all on Sundays. It took me like a month and a half to find a time to go there when they would actually be open. This is a huge disadvantage of this place because I could just go to one of the large hardware stores nearby and get paint for the same price and not have to accommodate my schedule to theirs. Once I actually got into the store, it didn't take long to realize why their hours are like that; they only cater to contractors. There was one contractor in the store and I was pretty much ignored while they chatted on and on with the contractor. When they finally did mix my paint up, they let it sit in the shaker for quite a while after it had finished; they didn't want to bother grabbing it for me. They do offer a full quart as a sample which is nice, but they would only do it in a flat sheen. I won't mark them down for this because obviously it's just supposed to be a sample, but they did have a chance to really shine here and they just didn't take it. The paint itself was just fine. It didn't go on any better or worse than the budget contractor-grade paint I've been using. All in all this place was just fine, but I just don't see a reason to come here over a big hardware store that is open later, has better customer service, offers more products, and offers the same prices.

For people complaining about the employees not being help them select a color- that's not really what they're there for. You need to reach out to a SW color expert for that. Prior to coming into the store for samples I did have a video call consultation that was set-up thru the SW website. 10/10 would recommend that before purchasing samples or going cross/eyed looking at all the paint chips.

Unfortunately, the lid was not properly closed and the paint dried out completely. I sadly discovered that they no longer make this particular paint. It has been discontinued. The ladies behind the counter provided me with excellent service. They knew exactly what paint to provide as an alternative. They efficiently gathered the tools to color match the paint. They notified me that it would be a 15-minute wait. They were polite and efficiently. At this location, the technician was able to color match the paint perfectly! I went home and applied the paint to the impacted area. You cannot tell the difference at all. I would absolutely recommend this store.

Support local plant nurseries!…read more Green Hills Nursery is an amazing place to shop if you're looking to spruce up your home with some indoor plants or add a little style to your front or backyard landscape. I came here looking for a lemon tree and some bougainvillea plants. Their variety of citrus plants they have here is amazing. Everything from orange trees to lemon trees and grapefruit to kumquats. I purchased a dwarf pink lemon tree, which I didn't even know existed. Supposedly, these lemons are yellow with greenish stripes on the outside with pink flesh on the inside, but still have that classic lemon taste. I didn't purchase any bougainvillea plants this time around, because of the lack space of my car, but there is a gorgeous selection of bougainvillea plants in every color and variety here. I also purchased an aloe plant that they had on sale, marked down to $24.99 from $50! If you're looking for succulents their selection is a little on the small side, but they do have a ton of tradition outdoor cacti and large palms as well. Beyond plants, they carry every sort of gardening, tool, soil, and outdoor decor you could ever need for your house. During my visit here, everything on the grounds was 10% off because they were celebrating their 10-year anniversary. Im so happy to see a local business thrive and I hope they're here for another 10+ years!
