After a lot of searching for a hard to fit horse, we finally decided to buy a particular horse…read moresaddle through Valley Vet as the distributor. Purchase price $800-900 range. It arrived, we put a blanket between horse and saddle and cinched it down. My wife sat on the saddle, said it felt okay and got off. We admit the horse took a few steps. She looked the saddle over and although a nice cordura style saddle she would prefer a full leather saddle. We called Valley Vet for a return and they refused to take it back. Their official reason stated was "because the saddle was ridden". I tried to explain to their rep, Patricia, for one thing they sent us the wrong color and the saddle was in pristine condition and that sitting on it to see how it fits is not "ridden" but they refused. I also tried to tell her we did not want a refund but just store credit as we wanted to order a different saddle which was about 2-3 times the price. Nope! I called the manufacturer who has a strict return policy. They told me they would have taken it back for an exchange but it was up to Valley Vet as the distributor. The Valley Vet website is very vague as to their return policy and appears to be geared towards one time sales with no recourse. I mentioned an honest review of my experience but they were firm. There are other competitors willing to make customers happy and have repeat business. Valley Vet snagged my business this time but not again.

I don't even know where to begin with how incredible Spring Valley Vet has been to us. In a world…read morewhere genuine care can sometimes feel rare, their team reminded me that there are still people who truly love what they do--and the animals they care for. What meant the most to me was their willingness to go above and beyond with after-hours medication pickup. Life doesn't always happen on a perfect schedule, and neither do pet emergencies or needs. The fact that they made it possible for me to pick up Remington's medications after hours took so much stress off my shoulders. That kind of flexibility and understanding is something you just don't find everywhere. But what truly touched my heart was the handwritten note they left. It wasn't just about the medication--it was about the thought and care behind it. "Give Mr. Remington some pets from us & safe travels to Colorado!"--something so simple, yet so meaningful. It made me feel like Remington isn't just another patient to them, but genuinely loved and cared for. You can tell this isn't just a job for them--it's a passion. From the kindness in their words to the extra steps they take to make things easier for pet owners, Spring Valley Vet treats you like family. I am beyond grateful for their compassion, their flexibility, and the little personal touches that made such a big impact. If you're looking for a vet that truly cares--not just about your pet, but about you too--this is the place. Thank you, Spring Valley Vet, for taking such amazing care of Mr. Remington. We will never forget it.

She did a much more thorough examination than his normal vet had done a few weeks ago and diagnosed a heart murmur. She gave me a choice of a second opinion from a specialist or to try medication first. I took the medication route and within a day or two he seemed much better and her fee was half of what other vets charge here. Yes, the office is not as nice as the others in town; but, she is a wonderful veterinarian.

And I had to take the day off of work because they wanted her picked up at 3:30. I told them that didn't work for me to reschedule for the next day. They ended up getting her in that day and doing the surgery but I wasn't allowed to pick her up until the next evening. When I dropped her off, the vet met me outside and had me fill out a paper with all the information about the cat that should have already been in the computer. I wasn't allowed inside. When I picked her up the next day it was the same thing, I wasn't allowed inside. The vet brought her out. She smelled horrible. Literally like death. I had to drive with my windows down the whole way home. Also I had to give my card to the vet and she took it inside and charged my card. She said she would email me a copy of the receipt with all the information. I have requested a copy 5 times in the last month and have been ignored everytime. My cat ended up getting very sick after the surgery. I called multiple times and they kept telling me that it was normal and she would be ok after a day. I ended up takikg her off the pain meds they gave her and that fixed the problem. They didnt offer any other option so she just had to deal with the pain. I would say for anyone thinking about going here to stay away. Pay a little more and take your animal to a better vet. I wish I would have
