We came for a birthday celebration. I made reservations with a request for a highchair and everything was ready when we arrived. The staff were friendly and engaging, and the red had a pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent and plentiful and more than any of us expected. The meats were cooked to perfection and the salad bar had a great variety. We were too full to order dessert but one was giving to our son who was celebrating his birthday a birthday. My party visited on a Sunday evening and were pleasantly surprised to find this place wasn't packed--which honestly worked out perfectly for us. The quieter atmosphere meant we got incredible, personalized attention throughout our meal. The real highlight of the night was when the owner himself came around serving meat. You could see the genuine pride he took in every cut he brought to our table. He wasn't just going through the motions--he explained each selection, made recommendations, and you could tell this food meant something to him personally. Don't waste your time or money. Service is irritatingly slow, salad bar is sparse, and for the money there are far better options in town. Worse Dining experience I've ever had! I had made a reservation for 7, and when we got there it wasn't busy at all, but it took someone 5 minutes to greet us and sit us, then at least 20 more minutes until our drink order was taken. The salad bar was old and not a great variety, in 1 hour only got offered meat once! 2 of our drinks never even came. The price is ridiculous for the tiny amount of food offered. You could not pay me to eat here again. The owner should be ashamed of how horrible it was on New Year's Eve! He's obviously a con man and someone who doesn't care what Sheridanites think. read more

To start off, it is Valentine's Day. If this had been our first visit, it would have been our last. We had reservations and were seated promptly. That was about the best that happened! The 'waitress' took our drink order, wine for my wife and iced tea for me. The wine was good but the tea sucked! As it turns out, it was 'sweet tea'. Didn't know they offered both and was never asked if I wanted sweet or unsweet. It did not come with lemon as I had requested 'no lemon'. We usually do not get anything from the salad bar (which is fairly decent) but something told us to tonight. I am glad we did as, when we did have someone come by to offer us meat(s), 95% of the time they were EXTREMELY rare. I finally got some prime rib that was done on the medium well side. The waiters seemed to get to several tables around us multiple times and then just kinda passed us by. My wife finally got shrimp (which is her favorite) and we finally got some pineapple. Out of all the 15 or so table visits by the waiters, we were able to partake maybe 4 times. Sometimes were were offered chicken legs (4 times) which we did not want or were offered that extremely rare meat. $150 dollars for maybe $50 dollars worth of food and 2 glasses of wine is a pretty steep price to pay. I will say that they were very busy and I can cut them some slack for that and that is why they got the rating they did. I don't know if we will return in the future.
