I decided to throw in the towel and find a pool maintenance company for this season. After calling a lot of companies, I found the no one wanted my business as much as A Sunny Day Pool did. His prices were reasonable and cheaper than others, so it was an easy choice. I had him open my pool ($175) and return to vacuum it. His rate for cleaning is $50 an hour. It has taken me hours of unsuccessful vacuuming in the past to even remotely get my pool looking good. My pool cover fell in a little over the winter so there was a lot of leaves in the bottom. He brought out his own equipment and got the pool sparkling clean in exactly 1 hour. I am not kidding when I say that is the best $50 I have ever spent. It is two weeks later and my pool is still sparkling clean. I have him scheduled to come again this week and do a clean up before a party. Hiring this company for my pool was a great decision. It is just one man, but he is reliable, professional, and gets the job done perfect and quick. I would 100% recommend him to anyone in the Colonie area looking for pool maintenance. I will continue to use him through the summer and the rest of my years owning a pool.

They eventually rescheduled over a week later and attempted to charge an additional $50 because the water level was not low enough. I explained that the water had been at the proper level the previous week, but had risen due to heavy rains. I agreed to pay the fee, but also let them know I would be discontinuing my service. Zero Stars! Blue Crew is totally undependable and have put my health at risk…read more Blue Crew Crews was supposed to open my pool several weeks ago. They never made the first scheduled date on April 28th. Blue Crew texted me to say they could not open my pool until the following week. That night I was rushed by ambulance to Albany Med, got out on Monday with doctors orders to not "do ANY heavy lifting". So. getting my pool open now became a serious health issue, it merely a convenience. I texted Blue Crew back when I was home from Albany Med to say that probably be better for my health if they opened the end of May, before Memorial Day. They called me to coordinate an opening date. When I asked if opening the Monday before M-Day was possible, I either was hung up on, or the call dropped. They texted me to say the call dropped, but never mentioned rescheduling. I asked them to text me back - they didn't. I texted again asking for an opening date - no reply back. I texted again - still no reply. I have always opened my pool every year. This was the first time I sought a service and Blue Crew BLEW IT! Under normal circumstances I would just be frustrated with Blew Crew, but I am furious that I now have a SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUE and have been abandoned by BLEW CREW. What they claim on their website as 'dependable service' is TOTALLY UNDEPENDABLE!

We previously used a large pool cleaning company and we had to regularly run our pool robot. This past summer, our pool robot was basically on vacation. We only used it to pick up a couple of leaves stuck at the deep end of our pool. Also, with the previous large pool company, we had different people come by each week but with 413 pools, Derek and Steve were the only ones who came by. They were good with communication, showed up when they were supposed to, always very friendly and answered any of my pool questions. What was also great about 413 pools is that we were not stuck with a weekly cleaning contract for the summer (this can be a problem if your pool ever needs unexpected repairs/liner tear)! If we didn't want a cleaning bc we were away, we could have just skipped a week. They also did our opening and closing.
