I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Dave, the unique pools and spa technician who fixed our spa…read more Dave let us know 2 hours ahead.of.time when he would arrive and arrived right on time at our home. Dave diagnosed the problem quickly, tested everything and got all up and running for us in no time. Great personality, very professional and highly recommend Dave and Unique Pools and Spas to others. We were led to believe the 2021 Wellis spa model we had decided upon was a good value at the Mercy Drive Store for $12,000. However, as we had just started looking we decided to shop around and our wallet is so happy we did. We ended up getting the EXACT same model (except a 2022) for $7499.99. Everything written into the $12,000. package at Unique PSB (steps, cover and @ Ease sanitizing system) was also included in the better priced deal. It was all delivered free of charge to the spot where I wanted it in my backyard set-up! It should also be noted that even the Unique PSB in Jacksonville gave me a considerably better price for the exact quoted system than the store on Mercy Drive. On a positive note- even though I would never buy anything from the store on Mercy Drive in Orlando, I will say that Alan, the salesman, spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions quite well. He seems to know "his stuff" and it is unfortunate that we were not able to purchase from him because he did spend a great deal of time with us. (I live in Orlando- not sure why my posted review says I am in CA!)

I have debated long and hard on if I should post something and today, I made my mind up so others…read morewould not get burned. I had a business for 38 years. I never told a customer that I would do something and then not do it. If I said it would be done on a certain day then it was done. I never promised something I could not do and if I said I would be there at a certain time...I was there. In January 2021, we decided that we needed a new liner in our 32x16x8 foot pool. We had several people come and give us estimates. We finally decided on a local company for the job. We paid them $2,500 to order the liner as they asked. His estimate for the complete job was $3,800. In the end it cost $6,200! January 2021, I was told the job would take about 2 weeks after the liner came in and that seemed reasonable. I called a couple of weeks later after the deposit was given to see what the progress was and I was told that they needed to measure the pool and that it had to be empty. The next day I rented a pump from Volusia Rentals down the street and the next day the pool was empty, so I returned the pump. My wife and I had a few errands to run and when we returned I went outside to look at something in the back yard and to my surprise the liner had risen up about 4 feet in the deep end. I climbed down into the pool, and it was quickly apparent that water was pushing the liner up, so I got a razor knife and cut the liner. The pool then started filling up with ground water...quickly. Three weeks later they came and measured the empty pool. During those three weeks I rented the pump, at $40 a day, three more times before buying a pump that ran 24 hours a day to keep the water out. Two days after they measured the size they came back and had to remeasure the pool. It is now the end of February, and the liner was just ordered. It was winter so we were patient and waited. In the second week of March we were told the liner was in and they would be out in a couple of days to install it. Two weeks later I asked when they would be out and I was told the installer was out of town and rehabilitating a back injury and they were working on a replacement person. At the end of the first week in April, a group of people came to start installation, but the ground water had to be eliminated first. For the next three weeks they had a pump running 24 hours a day evacuating the water and the one of the end results was $250 of new St Augustine sod was destroyed. From the constant flow of water over it. Finally they came up with a solution and put in another pipe that sucked the water up, but that only happened after they quit working on our pool so they could go build a new in Tampa and then a week later in Clermont. After they finally came back to work, the bottom of the pool needed a hard surface put down, but they said because of Covid it was not available. I was told that a substitute was found and the next day they arrived with bags of Kuikrete and never used them. Too wet they said. So, they packed the sand down and started installing the liner. The first time they had the liner backwards and then when they finally got it straightened out, they had disturbed the underlying soil and now we have spots that are not smooth. May 10, 2021, and we finally we able to use our pool with clear water. We were also told and have in writing taht we have a $150 credit at their store, we would be given a pool light that changed color, all white products would be replaced and the missing piece from the plastic strip at the bottom of the walk-in stairs would be replaced. Today is May 15, 2022, and we still don't have a pool light, I purchased the pool jet plastics and replaced them, the missing piece is still missing and when the put the bottom part of the plastic they didn't use stainless steel and when I tried to unscrew them today, they had rusted and the heads broke off. We were charged extra for the base material that was not used! And now, because they used the wrong hardware, in the coming winter we will have to drain the pool down to below the bottom of the steps so I can drill out the broken bolts and replace them. I will also have to reseal the liner at that position to prevent further water leaks. In summation, we were promised things we didn't receive, we were left when other jobs caused them to leave our job, the ground under the pool liner was incorrectly prepared and what we paid for wasn't used, and now I have to correct the installation of the liner seal at the bottom of the steps.

Upon initial contact, I had an immediate real person on the phone and was blessed to talk to Serena, who was Absolutely charming, professional, and very knowledgeable about the product and services. My interaction with her right off the bat gave me peace of mind and also comfort, knowing that I can reach anyone, anytime time! My first visit To the showroom was nonetheless amazing, but definitely worth the time if you are seriously considering purchasing. Before I even set foot into the showroom, Ambra (owner) Greeted me and was friendly ...inviting me inside and took the time to talk to me. Already my first interaction was so welcoming and I felt very comfortable with no pressure. How many showrooms have this experience that I was able to take a plunge into the hot tub as if it were my iwnthey had set up for demo, So I recommend bringing your best swim trunks and a towel. If not, they'll provide one for you! (Towel that is lol). Already before I even decided, I felt like I was at a spa. Serena, Was absolutely patient and answered all of my questions. What really made her stand out was listening to all my concerns and curiosities about everything from the first set up to the functionality of each tub. The fact that they carry one brand shows how much trust and consistency they provide, especially with the service history of the product and how much guarantee they have behind it. In conclusion, not only was my experience, fluid, professional, and full of clarity, but I decided to Same day at a heck of a deal. Walton spa made my experience as a customer feel valued and I look forward to further service! Also, I definitely didn't want to leave because I felt like I walked out the spa, True story. Thank you everyone!
