In both cases, Pool Boss was there the next day and fixed them. When I asked for the bill, the answer was, "There is no bill, we just want you to be happy." He wasn't kidding when he said we had to start permitting process in summer 2025 to open in time for Memorial Day weekend 2026 either - getting construction permit processed was the biggest wait. Now we opened just in time for summer - and she's a beauty! Pool Boss team coordinated the whole project from start to finish - the designer Michael helped us get the plans and measurements exactly right, even taking into consideration our future addition plans for the property. Tina filed and coordinated a million permit forms for us. Matt & Dan were very patient helping us figure out the on-sight restrictions. The construction itself was very quick and fun to watch (the digging was done with surgical precision!). Special thank you to Joanna for very clear communication throughout! The scheduling and ongoing notifications to keep us apprised of the progress were very helpful! We went with PB's recommended contractors - JBJ for electric (super professional - and again, helped us run everything with future construction projects in mind), and United Stamped Concrete for landscaping (Felipe's team did a phenomenal job with out stamped concrete patio and grading, great attention to detail). The orientation with Eduardo was super clear - we've never operated a pool and he patiently explained every single detail about the equipment and maintenance. The equipment can be controlled from an app too - very convenient and we are looking forward to Tyler making it even smarter. :) Thank you so much! Do NOT use Erik with the Spa Valet…read more While knowledgeable, we have had problems for years with inconsistent service and a lack of accountability. We put in our hot tub a few years ago, and we hired Erik almost immediately for weekly service. The first year, service was good and we had no complaints other than our weekly service was rarely weekly. As time passed, our rarely used hot tub always had a problem and was never working properly on the random times we were trying to use it. The past year, our weekly service was almost non existent. I texted repeatedly because our water levels seemed to consistently be low. In January, we were told we needed a motor. We purchased a new motor and we were asked to renew our annual contract in April. After expressing concern that no one had been showing up, I was told they had staffing problems and that Erik would show up personally on a weekly basis and would provide proof of service. Erik showed up once two weeks after signing a 6 month contract to let me know we needed a new cover. We paid for the cover in full, and he has never come again. It's my understanding that he is having some personal issues; I tried to be understanding and asked for responses to my texts and actual service calls. Erik never showed up again when he said he would and stopped texting me. We have since had someone else come out to address our hot tub only to be told that we have had a leak for over a year and that some lights have burnt out.

I was told after they sampled my pool water that the hardness was low and I needed to buy 70 dollars worth of calcium. I did and when I got home my hardness strips read normal. Prior to adding the new chemical I brought a second sample in which was also read by them as low hardness. I was skeptical so I brought the sample to a company across the road. Their equipment was all computer based rather than interpreted by the technician. They came up with normal hardness confirming my pool strips. I am not making any accusations that they were doing this intentionally but I did almost waste 70 dollars and add too much calcium to my pool. I think I prefer when a machine reads the chemistry rather than a technician so there is less room for error. they took the calcium back as a return with out difficulty but it was a real pain in the rear for me and a waste of my time
