I'd sit there listening to my father and him talk as much shit as possible in the time allotted.       Back then I never understood it.       As I got older I switched from a barber to various salons. The cost of my cuts went from very basic to hours long with a multitude of crazy colors applied. Nuts. I'm happy my mother always taught me to take care of my hair. I miss the man bun days in Boulder sometimes, but I don't miss the 4-hour long stylist adventures. I'm grateful I still have it too, and I take care of it, like the rest of my body.       It's taken me forever to find a spot that has that same feel I had growing up.
