Wow, did we hit the bulls-eye! So grateful we went with this company as our pool has never been cleaner. It's also very nice to get the updates on what is going right and sometimes wrong with the pool. Communication is astute, timely & accurate. I just started recently with Poolseye and my only regret is that I didn't find them sooner! Derek has been more than accommodating and the level of care and time that they take is unlike anything I have seen. We were struggling with several pool companies prior and were just miserable and felt completely taken advantage of. We are so thankful we decided to use Poolseye for our weekly pool service. I especially like the fact I know who will be coming to my home; not some random employee that's been with the company for a couple of weeks knowing I'll have another person within the next month... Derek, the owner, is an awesome human! He came to our house for the initial evaluation. Gave us a more than fair quote, and we decided to use his company on the spot. Today we had our pool serviced and equipment installed by Sean (another Poolseye employee) that did a fantastic job. Our pool looks 100x's better! Was referred to Derek of Poolseye by Erik of Chlorine King Pools. Erik had replaced our filter and pump and was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating that I knew if I asked him for a referral to a pool cleaning service, I could trust that it would be a good one. Well, it's a great one. Derek of Poolseye is just as friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating as Erik--which means I'm doubly lucky knowing my pool is in quite capable hands. My husband and I had been taking care of the pool on our own for the past year, but we just couldn't get rid of some icky algae no matter how many trips to the pool supply store we made. Derek could tell I was frustrated with the algae and just wanted it gone once and for all, so he fit our pool into his schedule ASAP and took care of a problem we hadn't been able to. We're SO relieved! We can finally enjoy our pool again algae-free! On top of that, his cleaning and maintenance is thorough. Really, your pool will sparkle! We called out an AC / "Vent Cleaning" service who's tech "cleaned" the vent but spent the majority of the time trying to sell more services. Turns out the light came back on about 6 months later (for a service that should be annual). This time, we called VentSmart. Dryer vents are ALL they do. One price for a vent on the side of the house, another if the dryer vents to the roof. Wayne was super friendly and pleasant. He dispatched Chris in short order. Chris was even friendlier and worked hard to get the job done right. That first "Vent Cleaning" service never checked the roof, just "cleaned" from our air-conditioned laundry room. Chris got up there and removed a HUGE chunk of lint (attached pic), then high-speed brushed from top AND bottom. There was no BS, no trying to sell other services, no surprises with the cost. Just thoroughly cleaned the house vent, the vent in the dryer, and all around the dryer seals. Then cleaned up everything behind him. Professional, super nice, and a very reasonable price. I am thrilled with the service Derek provides, he is always friendly, explains things thoroughly, is patient and kind. The pool always looks great but yesterday I noticed a funny greenish color to the water. I emailed Derek late Saturday evening about the color and he called me within minutes to discuss my concerns. First thing Sunday morning Derek was at my house. He knew immediately what was causing the problem, it was my pump. Derek had the problem fixed and was on his way in less than 30 minutes. After moving to a new home and learning that the previous pool company was not doing a good job, I did thorough investigating on other pool companies and Poolseye was the winner! And after meeting the owner Derek when he came to give the esstimate, we knew right away he was knowledgeable and this company was going to be a good fit for us and our pool. We were right! And his wife Jessica is nice as pie, organized and calls or texts you back very quickly. Also, Leslie's pool supply said Derek is the best and Poolseye is who they recommend customers use.
