Rachel
John F.

I have never had a bad meal and this meal was no exception! Excellent, fast service in a cozy bar. I had the Rachel, and the smoked turkey with the apple slaw was excellent. Great balance of flavors! Sweet potato fries were crispy and fresh. I also recommend the wings and the buffalo chicken dip - both are excellent! This place is one of my favs in Wexford.

Chili

First my wife likes the chili there and she says it is really good. I like a couple items such as the beef on wack but the au jus doesn't have a whole lot of flavor so I add salt and pepper to it and it's better. The steak sandwich is pretty good in the burgers are good. I typically order wings because they're sauce of hot buffalo is really good but they just don't comprehend do not overcook the wings. If you cook the wings completely the first time the second time you need to undercook it so they are not dry. Listen to me when I tell you do not overcook My Wings. The second time cook them halfway it's simple I am a chef. You're not going to get somebody sick if you've already cooked them fully the first time. I would prefer you to cook the wings to order fresh and it take 15 to 20 minutes to come out to me.9

Brisket wrap with onion rings
Nate R.

I thought the wrap was missing something. The bbq sauce was hiding at the end of the wrap. Homemade onion rings were decent. The service was the best part. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Parking was a tad confusing for someone who's never been here before. It's around the back off Perry Hwy. I'd go again to try other items on their menu.

Rachel and sweet potato fries

I love stumbling on a little gem. My husband came across Poor Richard's because of Breadworks' Instagram feed, so when we found ourselves in the north hills this weekend we thought we'd check it out. This is not fine dining--it's just really tasty, well-prepared made-from-scratch pub fare. My husband had the beef on weck, which was tender, lean, and delicious. I had the Rachel with sweet potato fries; the sandwich was made from house made smoked turkey, apple-fennel slaw, and thousand island. The sandwich was great--plentiful but neatly assembled and not sloppy to eat. The roast beef, smoked turkey, pastrami, and corned beef at Poor Richard's are all made in-house. Definitely will go back to try more of these.

Seafood chowder...great taste just not hot enough

Beef on Wecht is what I get! Delicious! Friendly service and a nice beer selection. Park in the rear and they have a tent for smokers.

The bartender was extremely rude. Taps are not clean. I got sick after drinking a couple of beers. Food is fair.

Pub food at it's best. Service is great as well. A hidden gem in the area, bar none (pun intended).

Everything we ordered was delicious! The service was great. I would defiantly recommend the Rueben and spicy brisket sandwiches.

Made an impromptu stop into this satellite brewery pub on Saturday and were very pleased…read more We sat at the bar and had a great chat with Paul who was minding the bar. He allowed us to sample a few beers and made suggestions to help us choose. There were a few hazy options as well as a black IPA. There is food onsite, which is supplied by sandwich shop Long Story short. The menu includes soft pretzel, pizza and a quesadilla. We had the quesadilla which was filled with tasty seasoned shredded beef. Also had the pretzel which came with mustard but surprisingly not beer cheese! The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. There is a nice outdoor space that we will check out when it gets a bit warmer. Glad we found this place and look forward to visiting again soon!

They also have 2 tvs around the room, giving you the ability to watch sports. This made for a super comfortable atmosphere to relax and enjoy time together. Their menu at this location is a bit limited, especially if you want something on draft. Their stout beers and IPAs are all on tap but lagers are only available in can and only 4 options. I ordered the Lil Cinder out of the can, which was a wonderfully cheap $3. It's one of my favorites at their other location and was happy it had a consistent smooth and refreshing taste out of the can too. I would have liked some more beer options, like sour or wheat beers, but understand it's only the taproom.

Total "first world problems." Just wanted to say, the Snowbound is probably one of the most fantastic ciders I have ever had. I've got my backups at Arsenal, and they are all fabulous, but nothing is as special as the Snowbound. Yes, it really is that amazing. To The Business: THANKS! I really appreciate what you all are doing, with, the exception, of not making Snowbound year round. :) :) :)

Arsenal is conveniently located about 3 minutes off I-79 at Soergels Orchard. Today we bought a pumpkin cider and two sorbets. I believe the sorbet is a seasonal product and it is definitely worth trying out. It was extremely smooth and flavorful, and it was actually better then I thought it was going to be. As for the Apple Pumpkin flavor cider, I can not wait to try it later. I do not have any doubts that I won't love it. This is also a seasonal flavor. I love how they are continuously making new flavors and every time I arrive there is one I have yet to hear of. Their Archibald cider is my favorite and it is always available as far as I know. The bottles the cider is poured into are glass and you can bring them back every time you go back for more! When you do that, you do not have to pay the price of the bottle. If you are ever in the area, I suggest stopping in!
