this weekend i got unlucky and had to get my car towed then forgot stuff in my car so we had to get it popped open. kianna(or how ever you spell it) was extremely helpful! She got it open quick, left no damage at all. We got what we needed out of my car but I didn't have my key and no way to turn off the alarm. She assisted us in disconnecting the battery when she noticed we were having issues. Then when we needed more help, she popped my door open again!! she was so quick and efficient with it, so kind, so knowledgeable, and clearly cares a lot about her costumers. Unlike most men when they come out to help, she did not mansplain anything. She quickly and efficiently explained what she was doing and just did It. I tipped her what I could and she was very appreciative. I hope that if I ever need to call PAL again I get her. She was awesome. read more

If I could give Less than one star I would worst service possible, rude and unprofessional. Told they would be there in 25 minutes, after an hour I called to check status and was told it would be another hour. I really felt lied to and the less than professional representative hung up on me, twice. Arrow auto unlock Lubbock Texas showed up in 15 minutes solved my problem asked for $25 and gave him $50 took his business cards into the business giving the restaurant a professional contact for customers needing lock services. read more

I am so thankful for the quick service. I highly recommend them. I have a 2011 Toyota Tundra with a dead battery. As such, none of the key fobs, NOR the Key will unlock the truck when it has a dead battery. I needed access under the hood, to replace the battery, but without interior access that wasn't going to happen. I called Pop-A-Lock and within 10 minutes they had arrived on site. 3 minutes later they had my truck open. Thank you ! read more

Called pop a lock at 7:20 said they would be here in 25 minutes. Had to call 3 times to ask where they were and they kept saying 5 minutes away. I finally called and canceled. Absolutely ridiculous, I will never use them again. read more

I saw the other review, and no doubt there's times when we're told someone will be there in X minutes and it definitely doesn't happen- I didn't have that experience. Nelly came to work, cut and programmed a key for our 4Runner- which wasn't actually the correct one for this model (had bought the key itself online, incorrect chip). My grandmother's neighbor called me to tell me that my granny locked herself out of her vehicle. After working a long night shift and only sleeping a few hours, I had to find a solution. I called this Pop-A-Lock of Lubbock, I told them I needed someone to get my grandmother back into her vehicle. I was able to pay for it over the phone and go back to sleep before my next shift. My granny said the technician was SO NICE! Which made me happy. I'm very protective of my granny and I'm grateful he treated her so well. Def will use them in the future if need be. read more

Got myself locked out of my rental with my 7mo old inside on a Sunday at 7:30am! Called pop a lock and they told me someone would be there in 20. I asked them if there was any way someone could be there sooner bc my daughter was lock in there. They had someone put to us in about 10 minutes and it was free of charge since a child was locked inside the car. Thank you so much pop-a-lock!!! read more

Normally Pop A Lock has been my go to for emergency unlock of vehicles; however, after this morning I will no longer be using this company. I was told there would be a 30 minute wait. After 35 minutes waiting and no one showed or contacted me, I called the company, was out on hold for 3 minutes before I was then told, "actually it shows here you were told there would be a 40 minute wait, so actually you have 2 more minutes". She then puts me on hold to call the guy that was to unlock my door, (another 3 minutes on hold) to then be told he was changing a flat and it would be another 15-20 minutes before he would get to me. 15 minutes from that phone call I received a text that the guy was in route, with an estimated 20 minutes arrival time. Long story short: I called and canceled. Found a local owned company who arrived within 10 minutes of me calling, and charged me $10 less than what Pop A Lock charges. I think I would have been more understanding IF someone had better COMMUNICATED with me. Like when you know you will not be able to assist a customer in the allotted time you told them, as a courteously call and let them know that! read more

I was told they would be there in 20 to 25 minutes it too they 40 . The woman when I called didn't know what she was doing and acted lost . I had to keep giving her the same information and she told me there was no such address . read more

Was here in Lubbock Texas on vacation unfortunately somehow I lost my car keys .Friday was a home game and I wanted to get out of town. Being advised by my car rental to call Pop-A-Lock . I spoke with Nelly , since I would be returning on the Sunday evening she went and order a replacement key . Unfortunately Ups couldn't get the key out till Tuesday. Nelly keep me informed what the delay was. Those things Pop-a Lock has no control of . This was the first time I had a problem like this I've been renting cars for over 20 years. Stranded on the side of the road with my family. I called roadside assistance and they said pop-a-lock was coming but it would be 45 min. After 45 min we got a call from roadside asking if we were moving yet. We explained we had not seen anyone yet. They called and pop-a-lock had cancelled the call saying they didnt have a driver anywhere close to us!! They had our number because they sent a text saying "James was on his way". If you live in the area, I would use someone that will actually follow through with what they say they will do instead of leaving a family stranded. read more
