Cascadia is not as bad as some of these comments suggest, but it is not a Good College. Some Staff…read moremembers certainly care about the students and will go Above & Beyond to help them. That is not the case for all staff, and you should proceed with caution when signing up for specific Professors. Most people who have gone will tell you that at its best, it is "OK," and at its worst, very bad. I am somewhere in the middle of those perspectives. To all who read, good luck on your higher education journey!

It's a community college, and fits the stereotype. If you want a cheap and easy education, this is…read moreyour place; if you want to learn, best go elsewhere. There are probably a lot of great opportunities here if you're in High School and want easy access to Running Start. It's affordable, has a moderate selection of introductory and survey topics (not much in depth education, though) and has reasonable class sizes. I'm retired and attended largely out of boredom; I found the standard of education, however, to be fairly low and the qualifications of the professors to be exceptionally disappointed (I had two good teachers, both of whom were dismissed; I also had one absolutely awful teacher, who is still there). For my needs, I'll instead be auditing classes at UW. On the bright side, it has a surprisingly beautiful campus and, as another reviewer notes, a nice library.

Sweet little museum right in the heart of Bothell. We stumbled upon this little place while we…read morewere at the park. We saw a number of folks coming in and out of the of this old cabin and Schoolhouse and decided to check it out. It was a fun surprise for our 2 yr old and 3.5 yr old so see all the old tools and how folks lived as the area was being settled. The old Beckstrom cabin is quaint. You can't go inside - only look from the front door - but it's a very small place with many period piece antiques and tools used in the 1800's. We then ducked into the Hannan House. The docent was very friendly and was a wealth of knowledge. It was kitted out in some great antiques and décor items. Loved the children's room upstairs with all the toys. Had to keep a hand on our daughter as she wanted to cross over the ropes and play with the toys, which were pretty cool. Our favorite was the old Schoolhouse. The docents was very sweet and friendly. Our little guys enjoyed the table with the type writer, mechanical coin bank, and cash register. The docent knew a great deal about the structure and the owners of the schoolhouse. All of the buildings were relocated to the area from other locations in the Bothell area. So nice they the effort is being made to preserve the history and pass it onto the next generation. While our kiddos are very young, they did enjoy exploring and seeing all the items on display in every building. Great little detour. The buildings are all very close together. They are not wheelchair / stroller friendly as many older buildings of the late 1800's / turn of the century were not. Takes about 20-30 minutes to see all the properties.

As a first timer, it was a bit overwhelming to see all the possible styles and cuts of glass to work with, but they do a short info session and video tutorial to help. We went for our wedding anniversary and spent about $150 on projects, upgrades and drinks. Photo of our unfinished projects attached. A week later we stopped by to pick up the finished projects, however mine was nowhere to be found. They looked for it and took down my information. I called twice a week for a whole month following, either speaking with different customer service people or leaving voicemails and emails. Nobody, even the owner, wants to take accountability for the lost / missing items or do anything to make it right. So incredibly frustrating and disappointing. This was a special creation to celebrate our anniversary and now I am left with bad memories and nothing else. All it could have taken was an apology and an offer to redo the project.
