I enjoy going live to the race and drift events. I like their enhancements the beer garden. Moved the porta potties out to the gravel area to the side of the small bleachers and added additional lounge and regular seating. They also have a decent bloody mary available in the beer garden! read more

Evergreen Speedway - Driftcon 2025 - Race Tracks Near Me - Monroe, Washington

This is the second time I have covered an event at Evergreen Speedway. Both events were for Driftcon (Aka Fast N Furious type of cars and racing). For the facility itself, I can say it is spacious, clean, clean bathrooms, decent parking, and fair pricing from their food stands. The chili dog with onions and cheese yummmmmm. It's a great facility to check out depending on the event you're interested. They have many other types of car racing events, but I'm mainly interested in drift cars as you can see by my photos. Be prepared though if you have sensitive ears it can get LOUD from the cars revving, screeching, burning rubber! The thrill! Driftcon racing itself I believe holds 3-4 events a year, I will cover at least 2-3. Hope to see you there!!! read more

I love this Speedway 1. Super fun atmosphere came here for 8-20-2021 Nitro Circus a blast 2. Staff is nice 3. Made it a 5 star but then dropping it to a 4 due to the long lines and the concessions and all 4. Amazing views everywhere especially for VIP 5. My wife and I went to there 60 minutes of fear at the beginning of October we had a great time. The staff the people were friendly of course in a big like that you're gonna have some idiots and some drunk people but all in all it was a wonderful time at the races. I wish they had more late models and modified and more different class of cars, but it was a lot of fun. We will be back in 2023 read more

Attended the Figure 8 races last night. This was the first time I have ever been to the races. We were there supporting a friends family member who actually won the purse. How exciting! There are two parking options. One is free across the street at the fairgrounds. The Speedway parking lot costs $5. Both lots were a bottle neck to get out of. Be patient. Discover is an accepted form of payment to purchase entrance tickets. Don't forget to bring your stadium chairs, sweatshirts/blankets and ear plugs in you're sensitive to loud noises. You can also bring in your own water bottles and snacks. There is one food court that offers standard fair food: burgers, hot dogs, nachos, corn dogs, soda etc... Debit and credit is accepted with a $0.50 additional charge added. Outside you will find a beer garden that offers beers in the cans for $5.50 (Blue Moon, Coors & Miller), wine and a couple of mixed drinks. Again, debit and credit is accepted with an additional charge of $0.50 added to each transaction. The races started at 6:00pm and ended around 9:30pm. Overall, we had a fun night. Took a drive down to the evergreen speedway for a unique Saturday night out in July 2019! We were able to pack sandwiches and some sodas in our cooler which was nice. There was also concessions and beer sales. The race was a blast, and we witnessed a collision in the final lap of the figure 8! We will definitely come back here with friends after the pandemic. read more

Went here for formula drift and it was the best show ever. Would recommend coming and checking out formula drift as well as coming to this speedway in general. Such a great place to provide any type of vehicle sports (or whatever LOL). Definitely coming back next year! read more

We were here for formula drift 2018, and boy was it hot! but the grand stands were great cover because we sat high up, and we brought our blankets (for us to sit on, cuz those stadium benches are hard af) and snacks to save money and to keep us comfortable. stadium security were both nice and nice to see. the only thing i'd recommend is bringing hearing protection for yourself and little ones. i saw many an infant in the arms of their mommies and daddies, some with no hearing cover. Please please bring cover your children's ears. read more

Why does this speedway have to disrupt thousands of people with the awful track noise!!!! Do something to reduce the noise so many people have to endure, it's ridiculous. With working from home and teaching from home this is an added stress none of us need!!!!! read more

This is my second time at this track. First time was two years ago for Drifts and then attended last nights 4th of July Birthday Bash. The various races were so much fun. My only gripe is that you sell your "Programs" for $5.00 and there NOT programs of that nights events, what a waste of money and disappointment. Later I found out there was a sheet of paper on a table with the nights festivities typed out which was FREE! I could have saved my $5 for the concession stands. RIP-OFF and lesson learned. read more

I really liked this race track. Since we were for formula drift, we were able to stay over night their on the track since the team I was working with is super low baller lol. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have 3 different showers all with hot water. On the last day we were there they had drag races i guess go on every sunday which was pretty cool to see all the wa hot rods come out and burn some rubber. Tip to the locals....they have night security that don't play around with plastic air soft if u know what I mean. You gotta love free Sunday afternoon drag racing. Even better when a friend of the family's daughter is one of the racers. The stands are good and close to the action. Went to the 4th of July Birthday Bash and had a lot of fun with the car races! The buses and the boat races were particular favorites. First, the grandstand seating is incredibly small - people's butts just aren't what they were 20 years ago. I would suggest always buying an extra seat to put your coat or anything else you need. Minus 1 star. Second, HOLY COW the speakers were loud. The biggest issue is the volume level didn't stay at a consistent setting. It was like an old married couple fighting over the thermostat. Super loud for a bit, then medium for a bit. Even when there was a break between races, they would blast the music so loud you couldn't hear the person next to you. I love music, but sheesh. Minus 1 star. Third, leaving the event, there were no lights between the grandstand area and the parking lot - none on the sidewalks, none in the little tunnels, nothing. It was pretty dark and I saw a number of less-mobile folks having a hard time. Minus 1 star. We had to go to the Ticket booth and ended up at Marsha's window - she was incredibly helpful and took the time to make sure we got what we needed. Overall, we had fun but there were some drawbacks that I hope the facility folks look at. read more

I must say that I really enjoyed my first visit to the speed way this season. I am working with Jon Roberts, a two time champion of the NASCAR mini stock division. The event staff were great and it was an easy process to get the Allshouse Designs sponsored race car on the track. There is a lot of great cars running in the division this season. It will be exciting to see how the 2018 season plays out. read more

The races are great even for people who didn't grow up in a racing family, and even know nothing about cars. They have some really fun events to watch. We like to go on nights when they have School Buses on the figure 8 track. Pretty cool to watch them get up on two wheels as they squeal around the outside, and narrowly miss each other on the crossover! The hornet and demo class are also fun. Makes me want to donate my old mom bomb (minivan) and see it ride off in a blaze of glory! They also have great fireworks throughout the summer. Check the calendar to see what's coming up. The food there is really the pits -- canned nacho sauce on chips, and so forth, not prepared in unsanitary conditions, but not very appetizing. So bring your own food in your bag. I'd also recommend bringing a blanket, and a stadium seat cushion if you have one out in the garage somewhere! Some nights are great for kids, especially the nights with many races including boat races, bus races, hornets, flip contests and more. They usually have fireworks on those days. Some days are just long distance races of a single class of car, and that might not be much fun for kids. Check ahead. There is a Scout Night once or twice a year. On that day, a scout in uniform (boy or girl) will get in for half price and can take part in the flag ceremony. I've been at races where the air quality is very bad, but this is ok. It is outdoors. You can sit under cover in the grand stand if you go high enough, but then there's no way you'll get a tshirt when they bring out the tshirt gun! read more

I was tentative about 4 stars since I have a few issues with the place. First off there is no real drag strip here. Big bummer for me since it would be nice to have a drag strip close to me. The "circuit" layout is thrown together quickly and half assed. Last but not least please re pave some of the track. With all the negative stuff done I can list off all the great things about this place. The figure 8/stinger races here are awesome and full of action! Demo derbies and drifting also are common at this track. I've come here for many events like Nissanfest, drift con, HID.. The list is endless and every time I have an amazing time. And I plan on booking this place for my own shows eventually. Last but not least the food is okay. I don't care for the burgers but the nachos rock! And the "beer garden" is a good place to chill out close to the track and enjoy a drink. Check out some of the cool unique food vendors that come by for big events! read more

WOW!! Such a fun spot to take your kids and family. The people are great here and the car show is so unique and LOUD!!!! The new management has really tried to improve the track and the experience...and yes, this takes hard work and money. Best firework show anywhere!! This was the first time I have ever been to this track, and while it was a little more run down than others, the staff was nice and pleasant to work with. I would like to see a few more restroom options. And if I were them I would open it up to a few more food vendors. All in all a nice little track read more

Perfect for the family! A great alternative to going to the movies and about the same cost. Teens and tweens love it! May be a bit loud for tiny ones. Free parking. Will definitely go again! Better than staying at home while the kids play Xbox :) and so entertaining. read more

Fun for the whole family . Not a bad seat in the house . Stands are hard to sit on long term, but nothing If you bring a pad to sit on . Races are entertaining and they keep you intrigued in between clean ups . Not sure about the food I always bring in my own snacks and drinks which saves on the pocket book ! read more

Race Fans Beware!!!!! For over 18 years I've been taking my kids to the races in Monroe. It's been a type of tradition for us over the years to at least make opening day. Though the years have brought many struggles at the track and the way things are operated and orchestrated. From track rules to sponsorship woes. It's just part of the small town ordeal. What a great Saturday night outing. Or at least it used to be!! One of the highlights was to be able to load up with blankets, pillows, and a whole bunch of munchies. We each had a favorite candy bar, soda, sandwich, and whatever else we could think of. I mean around 3 hours of racing was a great reason to sit and munch on all the goodies. Hot soup in the thermos, maybe leftover pizza, we came prepared. Although the prices have been raised to get into the track, I figure about everywhere is doing that nowadays. But to see the little paper sign over the entrance on Saturday night "No Outside Food or Drink"??? Well my kids and I just kinda stood there, WHAT?? One guy asked us about tickets and I confirmed with him the sign over his head. He said yes that the new ownership and blah blah this and that meant "no more food". This would mean not just $60 to walk in, but around that same price to try and choke down some of the terrible food they are famous for at the races. We stood there a couple minutes watching other families turned away as well. The look on the faces of the kids and the grumbles of the parents were enough to convince us of what to do as well. We turned around and left. It was once a small town event for locals. Almost a "redneck" feel. Just a great night out of watching the drivers give their all. As about everything today, it too, has been bitten by the "greed" bug. It's a sad thing to see even the small towns are affected like this. We walked away quite unhappy with no intention of going back. I guess I'll have to find another event with my kids. And we did find another event!!! On the NW corner of the fairgrounds parking lot is a small outdoor track for midget race cars. A place were youth get behind the wheel of scaled down midget type race cars and blast around the track in heavy competition. Oh my!! How one door closes and another opens!!! Oh and the parking is free, the admission is free, and you can bring all your food in too!! So we found a better time in a similar "race" type atmosphere, and we will be going back to the little track. Some of the best times are the free times, especially when it comes to teaching kids "value". If all they learn is that things cost more, more, more. All they will learn is "more" is the norm. But being able to teach them that they can enjoy so much more if they just look for value in the simple and free things around them. They will learn that fun is not a dollar based "item", but a choice in any surrounding with or without restrictions. read more

This speedway is no doubt great fun for families , but not for those who live in homes above the area. Even though it does provide recreation and money for Snohomish County, those of us who live in the area cannot sleep with windows open until 10 PM, nor may we eat out on our decks in the evening for the noise from the race track inhibits all conversation.This is not only all summer, but it seems whenever it isn't raining I, for one, would not have purchased my house had I been aware of the acoustics above the track. Even knowing that the track has been there for generations, it would be considerate to Monroe taxpayers and home owners to limit days and time to improve our quality of life as well. read more

Today was supposed to be the Dream Builders Show which is always a well run event by great organizers. Today the show was kicked off the track, our autocross was cancelled and we then had to put of with hours of noise since NASCAR was held over. We arrived on time. While trying to get a beverage we were all kicked out so the ticket lady to could get all the "Car show people" (said in a snide and rude manner) out. Nevermind we had been there for 2 hours. Where were the Speedway people when everyone arrived? The cars in VIP were then subject to dirt and debris flying off cars doing 130 mph. This got worse as the race started and mobs of people crowded the VIP area leaning on cars. When an official was approached to have them removed from the cars his response was: "They have stood there for 70 years". I'm sorry but that doesn't give them the right to sit or lean on my car. The management here is horrible. I hope the car show moves to a venue where people are treated with respect. read more
