I can't say I can crochet a straight evenly sized chain yet, but I learned the chain stitch & single crochet. As a leftie, it often takes me longer to learn a craft because watching the instructor can be confusing - but Venus did a private demo for me (and for the one more advanced student she snuck in a lesson on crocheting in the round)! Great class, all around. Now I just have to learn to better control the tension in my yarn-releasing hand. I want to be ready for the new Crochet 102 class debuting in March.

What we got was so worth it. Andrea provided an amazing experience, from the education to the actual ice cream. The ambience is great- everything is sleek, clean, and so aesthetically pleasing. My daughter learned so much and had so much fun while doing so. Bonus was being able to take short breaks and watch folks making glass objects next door. I can't wait to come back for a glass class or another ice cream making class- this isn't just a class, it's an experience!

There are many local treasures (a great way to shop local!) and something for just about everyone with varying prices. If you don't find a gift for a loved one, I'm sure you'll find one for yourself! It's very well organized, a neat, and not overcrowded (went on a Sunday). Their "checkout" process is great. When you arrive you can get a shopping basket and you are allowed to stroll around and pick up the items you wish to purchase. When it's time to pay, you can purchase everything together at once.
