They have a large candy area and ice cream counter as well. There is great variety at Imagine - everything from handmade crochet, to cork handbags from Portugal, to sea glass crafts, to household items. There's a lot to see here! We visited before Warren Art Night and I'm glad we stopped in before visiting the galleries as they close at 5:30. Definitely worth a stop when visiting Warren, and even worth a drive in from the surrounding area.

The espresso shot is generous and has an espresso bite making the sweet ice cream a nice counter balance. The gift shop area is lovely. Bags, tops, jewelry, kitchen items and more. All good quality gift items. One restroom for all is off the giftshop area. Entrance is a couple of steps up from the sidewalk.

That being said, August of last year they sold my son a broke in the box General Grievous, big 200 buck one, he was ECSTATIC to buy it but they didn't disclose it was broken, the arm was glued, it wasn't " working" ( Mass law that you can't sell something you know is broke.. we don't have an As-Is law that permits that) and unfortunately he didn't open the box until we got in. I took pictures instantly and we returned to the store immediately and the manager was " going to contact us".. guys name was Phil ( he and his whole staff have been fired since, I'm guessing they were stealing or doing something shady). Told that we broke it ( um... WHEN would we have had time to?!?) and he proceeded to lie to the credit card company as well. Long story short, we're taking them to small claims court and including treble damages because of the intent to deceive, the amount of my time he wasted over what I'm sure they KNEW was their own scam since the arm was super glued... etc etc... It's good that Phil has been fired and good that we're going to get our money back but it's just garbage that ANYONE would try to pull that stunt on a 12 year old autistic kid. Just complete scumbaggery. Ok so in short: Good selection. Ok prices. Really bad human beings. Also, apparently don't know Mass General Laws... probably should learn those guys.. P.S. I'd settle for a refund and an apology from the owner/manager who shows up at court next week. I'd probably change the review to reflect this as it wasn't the owners fault or current management but they've had a ton of time to reach out on this one and haven't. Doesn't help that they tried to say they have " experts" who claim we broke it... maybe the business is seedy, I don't know, I just know they tried to rob a kid who cleaned up an awful lot of dog poop to save that money up..

A bunch of amateurs run this place and I will not be doing business with them again. Once again, save your money and look on eBay or other collectible stores in the area, but certainly don't give these guys another minute of your time.

Their selection is unmatched--Rancho Gordo beans (a cult favorite and nearly impossible to find in stores), beautifully designed Kinto mugs from Japan in every size and color, locally milled flours from Maine, and even Rhode Island classics like Wright's Dairy coffee milk. They have it ALL! Every corner of the shop is thoughtfully curated with the best culinary goods, and the variety is second to none. There's no place on Hope Street I enjoy being *whisked away into more! When I got home and took them out of the packaging they had brown spots and two had brown spots inside as well. If these lemons had been significantly better than regular lemons perhaps the price difference would be justified, but for them to be mildly worse and more than twice the price struck me as bizarre! I also bought a frozen meal that was already expired... I was able to return these two items and the customer service was good, but I couldn't believe how high my bill was for only getting 5-6 things.

This store is very clean and feels high end - I would consider this more of a luxury market, almost as if you had a combo of Whole Foods and Highland Park Market (a small local chain in Connecticut). There were a nice amount of unique local offerings I hadn't even heard of before - salt water taffy, chocolates, bulk frozen soups from Blount, etc. There are fresh options like a sushi bar and a small coffee area in the front. The big selling point of this store are those unique offerings, and the best bang for your buck are things they make fresh, breads, desserts, etc. I LOVE their fresh popped flavored popcorn and always have to grab some - just do it!!! Other than those standout features, I can't see myself shopping here regularly if not for those specific items, unless I really didn't want to travel far. It's a smaller store with less selection. Pricing is well above other similar stores - the mark up on a pantry item I picked up was double the price of the exact same thing at Target. Even their "sale" prices don't seem that good of a deal in most cases. They advertise a senior discount on Wednesdays. Self check out and cashiers are set up, but only self check out was open at 8 pm. There's a nice upscale feel here, although staff wasn't helpful in the evening hours when I went, which you would expect more of from this type of experience based store. For basics and pantry staples, you'll find a better deal elsewhere....but honestly, it's still worth a trip just for the popcorn.

It was 10 pm and we asked the man at the front what time the deli closes, as we are aware the store closes at 11 pm. He was smiling/laughing with the customer in front of us, but once when we asked him a simple question he immediately became cold, did not crack a smile, and said "what? 10 pm" as if it's something we should've known before entering the store. Receiving this type of rude service made us unwelcome and awkward. Not sure if he was being racist, but we won't be returning.
