Parking is plenty with easy in/out. The market has fresh produce, a butcher/meat section, deli area with prepared foods, and a variety of local RI items for sale: Yacht Club Soda, Catanzarro's Pastries, Wright's Farm Fudge, etc. You can get anything you need and don't have to wait in the long lines at a typical market. Service is great, always quick and friendly. It is very organized and clean inside.

A healthy monstera (no bugs, no root rot, no distress, no disease) for under $20 is always a win in my book. Then I realized that there were probably at least a few individual plants within this one grower pot. I'm a green thumb but I'm also a very busy green thumb, so it took me an embarrassingly long time to get the proper soil for this project. I finally tackled the task of separating & repotting this plant this past weekend. You know those scarves that clowns pull out of questionable places that just keep going & going & going & going & going? & that's the whole bit? Well that was me with separating this monstera. I was the clown & the monstera was the scarf. Any guesses as to how many viable separate plants I divided the original into? My guess (prior to tackling this task) was ~8. The verdict: 20. That's right. I just kept separating more & more & more plants off of the original mama monstera until I had a comical pile of little lads in front of me. So anyways, now everyone I know is getting a baby monstera as a gift from me for any occasion for the next foreseeable future. I have 5 monsteras in pots & another army of monsteras propagating in water. Talk about bang for my buck. $16 for one monstera was already exciting but $16 for 20 monsteras? Unbelievable. My partner and I both saw it at the same time and decided to stop and check them out. This is a lovely market (did I just say that?). It's smaller than the usual big supermarkets we're all used to, but it's really clean and set up beautifully. We walked around and checked out lots of things and bought a French meat pie and picked up a small salmon pie for my mom (she loves salmon). We warmed up the French meat pie and made some mashed potatoes and gravy and we really enjoyed this pie. It's hard to find a good meat pie that is ready made and this one tasted the most like my recipe (the spices were perfect and it didn't have potatoes in it). I can't remember what we paid for it (I want to say $10?) and we ended up getting 2 meals out of it. We'll definitely stop and buy some more next time we're in town!!

I could not see the feta cheese items in the box way above my head, so I pulled the box down. Several of the soft wrapped cheeses fell on my head. However, there was a heavy plastic feta box that hit my head, opened up on my coat, clothes, and new leather boots - the feta cheese juice ruined my things. I complained to the general manager at the Aldi on Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island. He told me it has happened before with other customers and he has complained to upper management; however, no one above him would make a change so that cheese with juice would not fall on the Aldi customers. I find this appalling, and in addition to this complaint, I will make online complaints for this store location. In addition, when this happened unexpectedly to me, I was dressed to go out and had to go home and change and launder my clothes. I ended up being late to my engagement, which made me mad. I also had to go and buy leather cleaner as my boots smelled like feta cheese. And I took my coat to the cleaners. I expect compensation for this from ALDI. And the next time I am in the store, if I see items on the upper shelf that cannot be seen because the are in boxes, I will complain again. This is inexcusable! You have had multiple complaints!!!! I wanted to give ZERO stars but it did not allow it.
