We personally ordered the five cup portions of: * Green Apple * Pineapple Coconut * Bavarian Style As well as two other 5-cup portions of other plain flavors, and four popcorn balls (two green apple, one strawberry, one plain). The price? Only $50. Did I mention how much popcorn fills the air? As soon as you walk in, you're hit with a sweet, flavorful smell that you might not expect from popcorn-- and along the shelves is everything popcorn. All things popcorn. It's a total popcorn Mecca in here. It's overwhelming. Grabbed a second size up bag of white cheddar and caramel, along with 3 slushy apple ciders. $28.50. Good prices, great service, and an absolutely unparalleled selection of popcorn (and supplies) make it such a fun and convenient thing. They also deliver, so if you find yourself jonesing for a hit, order online and they'll ship your favorites. Our last trip I impulse bought a bag of their Key Lime Pie popcorn, just to see how close it could come. Oh I love love love popcorn. It's killed me that we haven't been able to go to the movies in months because movie theater popcorn always tastes better than store bought. However if there is ever a popcorn store nearby, I'll be sure to check it out. Popcorn Wagon definitely gives you tons of variety from classics like butter, salted and Carmel, to flavors you don't usually see like blueberry, dill pickle, bacon and cheese, Apple pie, ect. It seems as though there is a flavor for just about anyone! I ended up getting banana, Parmesan and jalapeño! All of them tasted great and flavorful. They have different sizes as well if you want a smaller bag or a actual big bag or popcorn. In addition I bought a some salted Carmel popcorn seasoning as well. Now it seems like they're always busy regardless of what time you go so, I would be prepared to wait. Popcorn Wagon is just so good! Last fall my boyfriend and I tried birthday cake flavored popcorn at a popcorn shoppe in Mackinaw City. Since then we haven't stopped thinking about it. We stopped in yesterday to see if Popcorn Wagon had a birthday cake flavor and to our surprise, they did! Ordering here is pretty simple. Popcorn comes in 4 sizes (tester, medium, family, party.) The Tester size is about 5 cups full, but because we knew we'd both be sharing the yummy goodness we chose the medium size (16 cups) Popcorn Wagon is a family owned business (Yay!) and they make their popcorn fresh in store. There is over 45 flavors of popcorn to choose from. However, due to the pandemic they are unable to provide samples at this time (understandable!) Everything here is spaced out and you have plenty of room to social distance. Once you order, if it's busy, they'll ask for your phone number and they text you once your order is complete for you to pick up in the pick up area. Very simple and very easy! The birthday cake popcorn was very flavorful and sweet and the price of $8 wasn't terrible (considering how pricey popcorn is at a local movie theatre.) The portion is huge! Sweeter varieties such as, caramel apple, fruit salad or even watermelon certainly could perk one's interest. I prefer more traditional and dryer styles. The sweet ones don't quite cut it for me. Salt & Vinegar, Parmesan & Garlic or Bacon & Cheddar are in my wheelhouse. The top dawg? Cheddar & Sour Cream! The great part is you can sample any one you want. For free!!! Don't be afraid to combine them, either. My daughter's favourite is a Cherry popcorn and Chocolate popcorn mix. There are four sizes. Starting with a taster bag; then a medium; a family bag and finally, the party size. The top row popcorn ranges from $3-$24; the middle row is $4-$37 and the bottom row, $5-$50. Many don't realize that this store also features a selection of raw seeds. They boast both the traditional yellow and white Amish type seeds. You will also find seed types like blue and baby yellow. They describe the blue as "just a little sweet" and the baby yellow as "tender with less hulls." It's important to remember that this popcorn is best enjoyed in the first 48 hours. This was one of the busiest stores we stopped at in Frankenmuth. The lines are really long, but for a good reason. Each worker helps someone in line, letting them try any flavor they want. They don't just give you one piece either. They give you a few to munch on and try, to see if you like the flavor. You can see why this would take a while with over 40 different flavors. I decided not to wait in line with my sister and boyfriend, trusting their instincts. I was much too full to munch on free samples of popcorn. Instead, I looked at the wall of options they had. They were selling cute tiny popcorn balls, bags of popcorn, containers, little sets, etc. Once someone gets in line, they can ask to try any flavor. They then choose from various sized bags if they want to buy some. They can buy as many as they want. When they are done, they get in another line. This line is much shorter. The cashier rings everyone up for drinks, popcorn, or anything else they are purchasing. It's a much faster line. If you already know the flavor you want, you can usually skip the bigger line and go in the cashier line and order something. The prices are a bit high, but they do have some yummy popcorn. I love that you can order a sample pack to try and customize which flavors appeal to you. Narrowing down our choices was not easy as the flavors were all delicious, but we finally did settle on 4 flavors. I was able to place my order for my wedding easily online. They have a popcorn calculator that allows you to enter how many people you are having for your event and how many flavors, then it automatically calculates how much to order. This was super helpful. The popcorn arrived fresh, nicely packaged and on time to our wedding location. It was a huge hit and our guest really seemed to enjoy the Ranch and Dill Pickle flavors. read more

If you can think of it the flavor is likely there. Depending upon when you go the lines can sometimes be lengthy, but I truly utilize the time to decipher which flavors I'll be leaving with. Not to mention the counter help is ALWAYS super great (with a lot of cuties too). Also, you can order online if you're not nearby, and get yourself or someone you know some popcorn greatness. Chocolate is probably my favorite flavor, and is oh so good. The Fruit Salad is another crowd pleaser whenever I put it out for guests. Caramel with pecans & almonds is another go-to for me, and fills me with joy whenever I much on it. We love this store! This is a must visit/ must shop place every time we come here! We like the "you-pop" bags of popcorn the most. We have a small "movie theatre/ carnival" style popcorn machine, and always pick up the packs that come with the corn, oil, and seasoning. I like their fun variety of already popped popcorn. Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks, so this place is quite heavenly. They have all varieties ranging from very simple and plain, to crazy sweet and savory flavors. They offer samples if you are unsure of what to purchase. They also often have fun drinks like slushies or frozen apple cider that the kids order from time to time, especially during the summer of fall months. They were open during the pandemic for one family member to enter at a time, thankfully, so we were able to get our snacks during the surging months. Now, I believe they are less restrictive. The family, parents and grandparents, stopped in during the dog bowl event to get some goodies. This place used to be good years ago. I haven't been here in about six years and it definitely seemed like it went downhill. Service was below average. There was no line and the employees would just help whoever they chose. Prices were pretty pricy for what you got. My sister bought us two tester size popcorns, I would say that's an equivalent to a small popcorn from a movie theatre. I got cheddar cheese and she got vanilla. Honestly mine tasted like old popcorn with the Kernel Seasonings Cheddar seasoning poured all over it. The seasoning didn't even stick to the popcorn at all. Left a bad taste in my mouth. It is one of their great ones. And the kids love the Birthday Cake flavor. My mother in law and I went to pick up a phone order she had placed for her daughter's baby shower. There was a bit of a wait as they were busy and when it was our turn, they couldn't find her order.
