This is one of the many shops in Frankenmuth. They pull taffy in front of you. There are various size buckets to choose from, but for some reason I can not see any reason why people would buy a whole containers worth. They don't really let you try a particular flavor. They do have some samples, but it was only 3 out of the many flavors available. We decided instead to pick out a few and be charged by the piece, which was pretty cheap. We chose quite a few different options because my boyfriend loves taffy. Here's the fun part. We decided to take it home, instead of eating any right away due to being really full. When we tried it later, it was so hard to even start chewing. The outside of it was tough, and hurt my jaw. Once I started chewing it, I did not care for it that much to be honest. I decided against eating more. I had the peanut butter one, but I couldn't really tell that it was peanut butter. It tasted like peanut butter for a second, but mainly like nothingness. It's difficult to really explain what it tastes like. Have you ever chewed on the plastic hooked to the strings of your sweatshirt from nervousness? Well, that's what it tastes like. This is one of the stores I probably won't be visiting again. P.S. they do sell other things too such as popcorn, but why buy it here when you can stop at Popcorn Wagon?? read more

We saw someone carrying a bucket of chocolate covered popcorn and we had to have it. We asked around and found out this was the place to get it. It was expensive $11.98. The staff while attentive seemed over worked and unfriendly. We paid and left happy we had chocolate covered popcorn but feeling like we over paid and should have at least received a free smile for the price we paid. read more

There's many different flavored taffy and you're able to take a sample from a taffy container on the counter. They also sell flavored popcorn, but save your money and go to the popcorn place in the plaza further down at the Popcorn Wagon. Much more variety and cheaper! read more

We were drawn in by the taffy pull in the front window. My daughter has become quite the salt water taffy connoisseur, so we thought we'd stop in. It's a nice shop and the staff is friendly. Got a box of variety taffy flavors: weak sauce, they all tasted like pure sugar/vanilla with a drop of whatever that flavor was. Great for tourist crowds, but not so good when it comes to actual taffy read more

The shop is cute. The staff are awful. We wish they would have been helpful when we were looking for the ingredients. We wish they had a vegan taffy option as plant-based milk is not hard to find. The candy almonds are fantastic! Parking is in rear to the right of the store. read more

The inside looks cool and they have a decent variety of taffy and fudge. The prices aren't outrageous either. I was most pleased with is the sugar free taffy selection. There weren't as many flavors as the regular ones, but the ones they did have tasted great and you would never be able to tell the difference. read more

Visited this place while we were waiting for our order next door, at T-Dubs. Cute shop with many flavors of Taffy. They have colored/ flavored popcorn, peanut brittle, and fudge as well. I bought the chocolate covered candies- orange peel, coconut, caramel, etc. Everything is little pricey. Frankenmuth has many shops like this. Not exciting going on here, very slow and quite, the staff consists of two girls dressed in traditional German dress. You get to try the Taffy samples but not the chocolate. I was trying to figure out what one of the flavors meant, the girl was sweet to me and asked me if I wanted to taste it because it was impossible to describe the flavor. LOL read more

I have never liked salt water taffy. When my wife suggested that we visit this shop on Main St I thought that she was crazy. My memories of salt water taffy from my youth consist of flavorless, tasteless chunks of wax hermetically sealed in impenetrable wax paper. I confess I was pleasantly surprised by this shop. In the front window is a taffy making machine that grabbed my wife's attention. Inside the spotless and fragrant shop were bins of taffy in dozens of flavours and colours. My weakness for fudge was also satisfied with several representative flavours. The very helpful young woman behind the counter and pleased to chat and suggest the more popular flavours of their product and was also able to make cost-saving suggestions and cram an incredible amount of taffy into their three pound container.
