Tons of dried beans are imported to Michigan, which is then roasted, shells removed, grind, mixed and tempered to shape as a bar, bonbon and other holiday shapes. Each bar individual bar is priced a bit higher than the commercial chocolate late because DWAAR chocolate has a higher percentage of cocoa and much darker in color. The chocolate maker / owner of DWAAR chocolate is very passionate about her product. Be assured the she creates the highest quality of dark chocolate you can find only Michigan. The owner received an award and was featured in magazines, online and tv. I wish in the near future she will be able to mass produce and supply chocolate discs that can be melted and used as coating in fruits, chips, apples and pretzels. I asked for help and she immediately asked the Store Manager, Justin, if she could leave her register and help me. She was kind, smart and reassuring as she helped me with the menu, the drinks and of course, the beautiful flowers. She was AMAZING in making sure all of the details were handled. To be honest, I went a bit over my budget and offered to put a few items back. She called on Justin, the Store Manager and he said "Don't worry, I will take care of you". Lately I've been craving coffee that isn't Starbucks. Gloria Jean's has an AMAZING selection of specialty coffee. Seriously, the selection is out of this world. I don't even know what the kind man recommended me but it was absolutely THE BEST. I believe it was the most popular item, the WHITE CHOCOLATE CARAMEL COOKIE chiller.
