There are 2 locations on Lakeland Drive. I was about to get lunch at the one beside Applebee's and while I was waiting I noticed a blue shirt manager handling food without gloves and she was also handling money by bringing change to the cashier up front. I decided to get a refund when I saw both managers fixing the food without gloves. As the blue shirt manager handed me my refund, I noticed a small open wound on her right hand. I tried to get food from here the other night, after waiting in the long line to get to the window and place our order the cashier then told us they didn't have spicy chicken. Real Popeyes chicken ppl know the regular doesn't taste like the spicy. Why not say before the entire order is placed there's no spicy chicken. Well went to try the new chicken sandwich and arrived at 10:40 am before the lunch rush right? Well I went through the drive through and ordered a classic chicken sandwich with no pickles and a large red beans & rice. Simple order right? I truly wish that I could give this place a lower rating than one star. I just got home from this atrocious place. The man who waited on us at the drive thru, got upset with us because we couldn't hear him because of loud pans banging in the kitchen. As we were driving to the window, I could hear the man making annoyed sounds at us, possibly not knowing or caring that he left his mic on. I would have not made this review if this had been the only issue, but when we had pulled up to the window, and received our food, a rude woman leaned over the window and glared at us with anger in her eyes. I felt threatened, and unsafe by her unprofessional actions. Therefore, I will not be going back. I eat here from time to time because there is NO other Popeyes in our area. The wait is ALWAYS long -- usually 10 to 15 minutes when there may be one other car in the drive through besides me. The food is ok - sometimes it's good but usually it's not up to par. I NEVER get condiments, even though some meals are supposed to come with them.
