The store appeared clean and organized, which is great. The cooks, servers, etc. were very nice. My only issue is that my order was called out and was being prepared by one cook. It was going good until another cook came from the back to assist and totally messed up my order. They remade it BUT the waitress nor the original cook explained how my order was to be prepared. It wasn't to my liking of preparation/cook. Not wanting to be problematic, I just took it. I would say just better communication & exchange is needed. It was a lot of side conversation about the management visit they had so I assume they were distracted. read more

I'm going to make this review short and sweet. This is probably the worst Waffle House I have ever been to. Food is the usual and it's good. But the service here.... UGGGGGGG! Continually bad, bad service. Rude waitresses who give you the "stink eye" if you even so much as ask for a refill. There are way too many other Waffle Houses around, so there's zero need to put up with the crappy service here. Great service during Covid! The food was good, the staff was friendly, and I was in and out in a short amount of time (by choice, and by the speed of service). I walked in and was greeted immediately. I took a seat at the bar and a gal was quick to come over and offer me coffee. Living in the South, I have been to my fair share of Waffle Houses and they're usually the same: noting fancy, the floor and tables a little sticky, the staff a little loud, the service pleasant and the food ample, tasty and affordable. For the most part, this location was no different, except that the service we received was by far the best I've ever had at a Waffle House. I'm kicking myself for forgetting our waitress' name, but my mom and were passing through o studying a road trip and she was so attentive, super friendly and an overall joy to be served by. This one star is granted to you because of the awesome photos that are NOT from your location (Marissa L. Has been busy posting them to a ton of Waffle Houses around the country) and because they are NOT indicative of the actual experience. I arrive and sit at the bar. The menus are sticky and dirty (2-3 servers are sitting down at the side of the restaurant slooooowly cleaning silverware no one is using while the rest of the place, people are using, goes unchecked.) Walking in and sitting down alone has made me feel like I need a shower. It takes about 5 minutes for one of the servers to notice me (way too long) and I place my to go order (not eating here) I got a cheesesteak omelette with hasbrowns smothered and covered. I got 1 measly piece of cheese in my omelette so it was incredibly dry that's to that stuff Waffle House uses to make them extra puffy. (I didn't have to take a bite to know) They forgot to smother my onions. I watched, the server didn't check my order before she covered it and put it in the bag. The cook used his gloved hands to wipe his face, his pants, and his head under his hat, before touching my food again. Needless to say I couldn't get out of here soon enough. 1. If you can lean, you can clean. The silverware could've waited. They should've been cleaning the tables, chairs, floor, and menus before they sat down in view of everyone to do the silverware. 2. Customers shouldn't have to wait for that long to be greeted ever!!!!! But the silverware was soooo important (ahem taking a break to sit down was all at the same time-- this is called lazy.) 3. When you wash your hands and put gloves on, maybe you could touch your apron, but do not touch your skin, your hair, and don't cross contaminate! We can see everything, why do it? 4. The cook and the servers should know quality food and if it's prepared how the customer asked before it gets to them. 5. Don't ever put pictures on social media that are not indicative of your location, environment, experience, and good. You're setting yourself up for failure before someone even has a bite. We can see through the smoke. It's a joke. I know you can't help what's done commercially and corporately, but locally, you can help it. I threw it away and didn't eat any of it. read more

A friend once told me that you know you're at a good WH when the cook/server is missing teeth. *** I've been to a couple of different Waffle Houses from Northern Florida all the way to Texas... never by choice really always from desperation/starvation. i've always been amused by the fact that they all look exactly the same and seem to pop up in the middle of BFNowhere. This one in particular is different than any of the others I've been to in the sense that there's actually other establishments around. it's usually WH or nothing so it's a good sign when you have options and the place is still packed. Absolutely the worst Waffle House I've experienced can't order your foo over the phone and no one ever answers the phone there at all. Went there on night around 10pm and the door was locked even though the sign says 24hrs. The older guy was walking ar inside and didn't even acknowledge me standing there. This is not the first time this has happened. You ca order over the phone but you can order through food delivery services smh really? So I would have to pay a third party just to get service? the pearl location really sucks. Nothing else is open in thi small area after a certain time. read more

I am not the one to even update my own profile however I took time out to download this app to communicate this to be the worst Waffle House establishment and if zero stars was a possibility then I would do that just FYI. First of all I wish I could have gotten their names but it is July 23 9:30p on a Friday night. After traveling hours we stopped at a Waffle House. Interracial gay couple walking into a Waffle House in Mississippi, I didn't expect to have the red carpet rolled out however with every eye in the restaurant fixed on myself and my partner I would think we would have at least been offered something to drink while we wait almost 15 minutes in awkward silence for a menu. I've worked in service industry a good portion of my adult life . so I understand completely how it is to be working an evening. But the complete disregard for us as patrons and guests was out of this world , thankfully we are versatile and figured out a mew place before leaving the parking lot but seriously worst place to visit , if you love the confederate and homophobia it actually might be an enjoyable place to dine. F*** Waffle House on Pearson Rd , I love Waffle House but bless this mess . 1 star for The State of Mississippi as well. read more
