I see all the one star reviews and trust me I got close but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and stopped going for months. I've gone two times this week because why not; also because that shi* was fire the first time back perfectly made. Perfect amount of sauce, perfectly fried, perfect chicken to breading ratio and the breading was crispy but not brick hard like it had been in the past. The most noticeable thing was the change in service. The attitude was great from the 2 employees i saw. I went at 7:54 04/01/2026 and the fact i was greeted promptly at the intercom. When I paid the lady working the window was kind. She gave manager vibes. The boy behind the counter didn't stop moving. Granted i was there for 40 seconds. This place listened to the reviews. Well today I went o Popeyes and drive thru and ordered 2 of the popcorn shrimp combos which it says and I quote a1/4 lb of shrimp ok? This is what we got in both boxes. That is not a 1/4 lb of anything. So I had to drive back there which is about a 15 minute trip or longer. They did make it right but my point is simply, check your drive thru orders before you drive off. The staff blamed it on a new person working. Seems to me that person wasn't trained very well on portions. Can't really speak of inside because my encounters were thru the drive thru. Won't be going back there anytime soon. read more

The ONLY thing consistent with this place is the screw ups. You will absolutely have something missing or wrong on EVERY SINGLE ORDER. If you order two fries, you'll get one. No pickles? Donishka, at the counter, was great! I was ordering online for the first time using the Popeye's app. Well, dumb me, I did not complete the order fully. Donishka figured it out quickly, I tapped the final button and my order popped up on her screen. Donishka immediately began assembling the order. She even carried the drinks out to my car for me! Not sure why this location gets such bad reviews. I've never had an issue. Today my dog said a special hello as we picked up our order. 2 chicken sandwiches & an order of red beans & rice (my fave!). Knox was so charming, that several employees came over & said hello. They even gave him a chicken tender! He was very appreciative! Excellent service, friendly & my order was correct & hot. I love this Popeyes location and its employees. The manager Luz is doing such a fabulous job and we are always so happy to see her when we go by. She is always so busy but still takes time out to say hello. The food is always hot and fresh. They get my order right every time, and I go there quite often, and the employees are so friendly. For this reason, I will go out of my way to only go to this location, even if I have to drive 20 minutes out of my way. My children even love the employees, every time we go through the drive thru they are always smiling and waiving. 5 stars. read more

Was craving Popeyes after a long day at work. It was around 10:30pm so I looked to see what their hours of operation were. Luckily for me this location closed at 1 am. Went to the drive-thru and ordered my chicken the way I always do, asking for them to make it fresh. The gentleman taking my order proceeded to tell me, "The kitchen is closed and I will have to take the chicken as is." I informed him that it's only 10:30 and you don't close to 1am. He then said, "take it or leave it." So I left and will never return to that location again. In fact this is the second visit in a row where this location has disappointed me. On the previous occasion I asked for mild and was given spicy. The only reason I went to this location was the close proximity to my home. I will not be going back. read more

I see a ton of negative reviews so here's my take. I've been to this location 3 times in the past 6 months. Most of you are making the mistake of going through the drive-thru. While this isn't a great strategy when purchasing fast food, you never EVER get drive-thru fried chicken, as you can't see what's going on. For some reason, most chicken places, Popeye's, Church's and KFC completely ignore what type of chicken you ask for (spicy, mild, crispy etc) and you have to watch them closely. Many times at other chicken places I've been told they are out of spicy and I have to wait 30 minutes, which I am happy to do. What I don't like is when the employees are lazy and don't feel like dropping more chicken in the fryer. It is so annoying. This location doesn't seem to do this but each of the 3 times I've been, they ignored my request for spicy and I've had to make them dump out the box and try again. Sometimes they run out of what you want and try to sneak in the other type of chicken thinking you won't notice. But I go inside, every time for this very reason. This location also has an unfortunate language barrier, without even the slightest attempt to speak English. This is extremely unprofessional. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because the employees have always been courteous and smiling, even when I catch their shenanigans, and the chicken has always been delicious. YMMV. read more

Drive thru only. Haven't been here in awhile. Line moved relatively quickly. Got home and found out the order wasn't correct - one of the orders was supposed to be spicy and neither were spicy. Also asked us if we wanted sauce and indicated BBQ and got nothing. Both the chicken and the biscuits were very dry. No honey for the biscuits. Cole slaw was watery but Mac and cheese was good. The real kicker here is the food wasn't even hot when I finally got to the window. I asked the cashier what was going on and she couldn't even explain why the wait was so long. The ENTIRE NIGHT SHIFT CREW needs to be fired! It would've been a different outcome had the cashier or whoever gave a heads up on the wait time because I would've found somewhere else to eat. Ordered the 12 piece family meal. Asked for no breast. Added an additional 2 piece leg which should equal to 15 pieces. Repeated order three times. When we pulled up to drive thru the cashier lady said, "You had the 12 piece with 2 extra legs right?" When we got home, they put in 4 breasts when we asked for no breast.
