The staff here was very friendly and worked hard to deliver the best customer service experience ever but it was obvious from the start there isn't much management involvement so we found the wait time and food delivery to be somewhat erratic meaning we weren't able to all get served and enjoy our food as a group. Another sign that this place lacks management was when the "final four" basketball games started a few inebriated customers were allowed to scream at the top of their lungs when the bouncy ball went into the hoop (so fricking annoying) I don't believe this a sports bar and if I had known it may be one we would of definitely chose a different place for dinner. Our server was the sweetest, she really tried hard but totally lacked any sign of training and had no timing and no help we worked with her and helped guide her through dinner service but it was a struggle. The good news is that the food was delicious - warm chips, both the red and green salsas were outstanding, the queso was delicious as well. Of course I didn't taste everyone's dish but there weren't any complaints from our group beside the timing of the food and unfortunately the temperature of some of the dishes that arrived late like it had been sitting awhile in the back or who knows got lost. Well we had fun because of those that attended and most of the food was really good so kudos to the kitchen - I am told even though the service is hit or miss the food over-comes most of the behavior so just make sure you plan ahead for the wait when they seem to be overwhelmed- what a gem this place could be if it was managed better. 18% Gratitude on parties of 6 or more regardless of the level of service, I would have probably given 25% if the service was better...

LDOT is currently improving the traffic pattern and road conditions but this location is still easily accessible. The entrance and exit is off East Opelousas Street immediately after exiting the interstate with separate drive-ways for cars and trucks. This was a much needed option on this section of I-10 and eliminates the need to navigate busy intersections and high traffic areas. The business is very clean and the fueling equipment is well maintained. This is definitely a stop I'll return to whether I'm in my personal vehicle or my RV. The fueling prices were competitive and some of the cheapest in the area...
