This location should be inspected. The staff were very grubby looking and the cook area did not look sanitary at all. A young lady went behind the counter in torn up jeans, a halter top, and house slippers and began working with the food and supplies. The wait was very long. Our food was done, but sat on the counter, and we were not told it was ours. We waited only to get to our hotel and find that the order was entirely wrong. We did not get the 50/50 mix of spicy and original, nor was it freshly cooked. The food was not hot. We ordered fried pickles and they were rushed and full of grease. We also were not given our dipping sauce. This place needs a complete management change! I will nit eat here again. There are too many other options at this exit to choose from. read more

#90-2021 This is one of those Popeyes located in a travel centers of America AKA T/A. It's staffed by the TA. This used to be a pretty good one a few months back it kind of took a little bit of a drop which is why I'm holding it to three stars on my visit today this evening the second of December 2021. It was crowded as usual which is not a surprise for ta Popeyes however I'm used to waiting at Popeyes cuz a lot of times are cooking stuff and it's not quite done however I didn't want any chicken so I have to for the popcorn shrimp dinner. I got the combo which got me a side red beans and rice along with a biscuit and I had a diet Dr pepper for the drink. I had to wait for the shrimp to get done but it was a let down because this is the first Popeyes I've been to in a while when I got an order of popcorn shrimp that they were very skimpy on the portions. The red beans and rice were good the biscuit was fine although it was a bit of a let down usually I get a couple of good handfuls as I like to call it at the popcorn shrimp here I didn't but it is what it is it was hot it was okay but I just wish they would have gave a little more in the portion read more

this is the worst fast food restaurant I have ever went too. 02/24/2025 @ 10:50pm. Cashier was on a phone call while taking my order. Then he proceeded to say he doesn't want to take order and asked another worker to take the order. I asked for something on the menu, he didn't hear me because he was on his personal phone. asked to read my order back, changed some items, told me the total & walked away. when I said I was trying to pay, they said it's cash only. Horrible service! Ordered the 12 piece mild tender family meal. After already waiting 5 minutes- was called to the counter and told it would be a 3 minute wait for fresh chicken tenders. Waited another 5 minutes when the girl in the back asked if it was an order of 16 or 12. The guy in the front tells her 12. Mind you- I'm not a stupid person- I watched what was going on- no fresh chicken strips had been added since I was waiting there. Then the guy proceeds to go over and put 10 old strips in a box- the girl in the back adds a fresh tray- and he gets 2 out and places them in with the others. Then calls my name. I asked if those were fresh strips- since that what I had been waiting for so long. He replied yes- and I said - I don't think so- I watched an you give me all the old strips then put 2 fresh on top. He totally lied and said they were all fresh. I said I don't think so. Then I get home and the 2 "large" sides are 3/4 full and they gave me exactly 12 strips. Any--- ANY-- Popeyes I have ever been to across the country gives you one, maybe 2 extra strips. Since some strips are quite small. This is inside a TA truck stop... for some reason, these locations have much, much higher prices... and this is the worst one (on prices) that I have ever seen. I travel the interstates every week... Stopped in here and couldn't believe the outrageous prices. I said, "oh my god, these prices are like Las Vegas, ON THE STRIP prices!!!" And they are... other than the locations on the Las Vegas Strip, all of the Popeye's around Las Vegas, as well as any other city, has much, much lower prices than this location. I ate here ONCE, last year, when they had some sort of special - but the special was a "regular" price anywhere else. Food was good here, just extremely overpriced... but so many people are actually dumb enough to overpay; they must be made of money. read more

Prep area looked disgusting with batter everywhere, floors in front of counter were a sticky mess, and worst of all the individual who took my order, connor, exuded "I don't care". From leaning on register with elbow and placing chin in hand between orders to the way he spoke, it was a feeling that no one wanted to be here. During long road trips the very little face to face interaction travelers get shouldn't be this sort. I just left without getting anything because the chick at the counter was very rude! I will now have to find another. Popeye's chicken is always great! Never dry and always hot, no matter what time you go. We get the mild, as the spicy is too spicy for us. Perfect flavor all through the piece, not just the crust. Crust is crispy and never soggy with grease. This particular Popeye's is located in a truck stop. We usually stop and get chicken to take home if we are traveling in the area. We have been fans of Popeye's for 30 years now and prefer it to KFC. As far as service, I have never been treated rudely. All employees have been friendly and kind. Yesterday's experience was outstanding. I picked up chicken about 5:20 pm and the shift leader was extremely accommodating and kind. I watched her interact with her team as well as other customers and she never stopped smiling. Treated all with kindness and respect. read more

Not the best experience for a Popeyes. Upon enter the TA it looked ok. The black female that was originally on the register stated that the system was down and reported to the manager who looked like she had just woke up and was lethargic. The manager apologized for the wait and told the other female to just take orders on paper and use the calculator to compute the total and at the point said female said "NO" to the manager and walked off. Just tried to order a combo meal. After waiting for 7-8 minutes I placed my order then my money on the counter as I put my wallet away. The cashier asked me to pick up the money said and put the money in her hand. I did, but I had to ask why she couldn't pick it up off of the counter. Incredibly expensive, dirty, and 2 of the 3 people working were rude. Got 3 meals with 2 extra sides and 2 extra biscuits and was almost $40. Was out of half their sides, most of their sauces and was in disbelief when I told them I wouldn't have even ordered food if I would have known that up front. I ordered the 2extra sides and 2 biscuits first and they told me that was over $12 alone. Unless you just can't live without Popeyes then I would avoid going to this one. read more
