Let me start by saying I understand it's fast food. I have given this place a chance twice and I don't think there will be a 3rd. The first time after waiting in line 15 minutes ( I had never had the chicken sandwich that is to die for. )I placed my order and was informed they were out of the sauce that comes on the sandwich. I ordered anyway and found the sandwich to be a bit dry. The reason for the 2 review is my 2nd visit. Showed up around 1 pm on a weekday and there were only 4 cars in the drive through. Wow jackpot. I soon found out why there were only 4 cars. I put my window down and heard the guy in front of me order probably 40.00 worth of food. After he placed the order the customer started yelling at the employee, finally putting his car in gear and leaving with no food. I get up to the window and order my sandwich and I was told we are not taking debit or credit at this time. I just happened to have cash on me so I said ok. Then she said we are also only taking exact change. I'm sorry what????? How many people out there have exact change ? I asked my total and it was 8.80 cents. I said keep the .20 cents. As I exited the lot there were at least 10 cars in line. None of which had a clue that exact change was needed. Can you imagine being on a 30 min lunch break, waiting in line to go away with nothing. This franchise owner needs to figure it out. Your food is in demand, there is no way your processes are that broken already that you don't have cash in your store. Terrible customer service. There should NEVER be a time when I'm sitting at the speaker for 10 minutes and have to leave because an employee is upset about MY confusion. Did an order on the app. Went to pick up the food and no one was there. No sign. No explanation.

I usually go out on my way to patronize this particular Popeyes because usually their service is top notch. However today Sunday afternoon I went there with my family hoping to get a great meal on a Sunday afternoon. however time I walked in the door I was stopped by the manager until that the inside is closed customers. I had an online order I was going to place in the in-store order I was going to place. I was greeted with the nastiest attitude ever. Top that off my food was uncooked and my order was all wrong. I tried to explain it to the young lady who brought our food out after we went to drive through and waited about 20 minutes and she said there's nothing we can do, turns around look to me rolled her eyes and left. Time and money wasted. the chicken sandwiches were uncooked the buns were not toasted and the chicken wings were unappetizing and prepared the wrong way. You know I always wonder why Popeyes never has a line like Chick-fil-A. Popeyes food in my opinion is better than Chick-fil-A, Popeyes service is terrible disrespectful. read more

I've gone through their drive through and had to wait a half hour for my food. Recently, we ordered their food using door dash. OVER AN HOUR WAIT WHILE THEY WERE PREPPING THE ORDER!!! I like Popeyes food,...but this location does not have their act together! I've gone to other locations and the wait was less than half the time!! Meanwhile,...while waiting over an hour, tried to call their store and constant busy signal after many calls. Then, they left items off the order. read more

We tried to eat inside, but the dining room is closed. In the drive thru, We had to wait a little for the food but appreciated the fact that it would be fresh/ hot. We got home and as a family of four, had half of our meal have uncooked chicken in it. My son's kids meal had an entire tender still raw pink and my older son had a couple boneless wings that were solid pink and not edible. We won't be back. We have looked forward to going since we found out that they were opening a location close to us. It is great to have on other option of the other fried chicken restaurants. The chicken was was crisp, had good flavor, and generous in size. We felt that their covid measures were lax though. Face masks were below the mouth both at the drive thru and for the teammate who brought it out to the car. On Sunday at a few minutes after 4 pm, we placed an order online for delivery for about $50 worth of food. About ten minutes later, the DoorDash driver called us and said that Popeyes would not give him our order because they had no record of it. We texted the driver our receipt, and he showed the employees our receipt and his notification to pick up our order. The driver said the employee was rude to him, and that the store's only cashier had left for the day. Again, this was just a few minutes past 4 pm. I tried calling the listed number, only to get an automated message that "restrictions on the line" wouldn't allow the call to connect. A few minutes after 5pm, a SECOND Doordash driver called and said she had just received a notice to pick up our order, but the employees wouldn't give it to her. We told her about the first DoorDash driver so she tried again, but again, the employees refused to fulfill our order. More than thirty minutes later, a THIRD Doordash driver contacted us, and told us the same story - notification for a pick up, but the employees refused to honor it. We filled a complaint with the Popeyes corporation via the website and were told we'd get a refund, that was 48 hours ago, and at this point we're still waiting. I tried calling the listed number again and got the same "restricted" message. This particular location has been open nearly six months, and I would have figured they'd have these sort of bugs worked out by now. But I have to wonder if the management/owner don't care and that's why this sort of thing happens. They have lazy and rude employees who refuse to fulfill orders even when proof of payment is provided. They also have a management who do such a poor job of scheduling that only one cashier works only a part of a day on Sunday. I will never spend another dime at this location. read more

Probably the worst Popeyes on this planet. Lobby is closed because nobody wants to work here. I went through the drive thru, ordered a 3 piece spicy chicken, with two extras. Potatoes with EXTRA gravy, asked three times to make sure there was extra gravy, asked for coleslaw. Asked for a large coke with light ice. I received no gravy at all, coleslaw was half full and extremely dry and old tasting, got a two piece regular chicken, not 3 piece spicy. Received a Doctor Pepper with no ice. Made the mistake of ordering and paying using their app, both mild and spicy tenders. Waited for 10 minutes with only 2 cars in front of me, when I got to the speaker was told the wait for food was going to be between 10-15 minutes. Told her I'd ordered through the app, then she said the mild tenders were frozen, so were spicy ok. ??? Said ok, went and waited for another 30 minutes before she brought the food out, apologized and said one of her employees had left and she was the only one there. !!!! Food was actually good, tenders were cocked through and beans & rice were great. I'll never order using their app again and getting locked into waiting. Both this and the Lake St Louis locations leave a lot to be desired, they need a lot of help to get up to a reasonable standard.
