The atmosphere here is so fun, there was great songs and trivia and service was good, bartenders were nice. Drinks were alright, I usually get amaretto/midori sours and it wasn't the best, I think they made it with sprite and I don't prefer when it's made that way. I came to eat wings and drink Diet Dr. Pepper. They have both. If you're into really hot things, the Hot Buffalo and Honey Habanero sauces will barely register. Flavorful, but no heat. I plan on working my way up the heat scale in future visits. Disclaimer: I'm all about the food, not so much the alcohol and the music. Right after open on a Thursday the food and service was great. Let me first off go on my saying that I've been here multiple times and gave this place plenty of fair shots. My worst experience there was going on a Sunday night last October for Sunday Night Football. There was only me, my friend, an older woman and the bartender in the bar. The bartender ended up getting really really drunk to the point where she didn't know what she was doing. She lost my friend's debit card somehow and charged me for food I didn't order. I then tried to resolve the issue but she told me she was "too drunk to function". Really??? Then the "owner's brother" came in and thought he could be of assistance to me. What do you know, he was drunk too. About 20 minutes later, the owner's brother and the bartender were fooling around on the left side of the bar and he ended up falling back in his chair because he was so drunk. I wish I could say this wasn't true. Now onto the food which is the only decent thing about this place. The food prices are pretty fair and have never had a problem with it. So I cannot make complaints about the food itself. However, the service from the bartenders to the servers are just terrible. Long service waits and not much attention. I advise one to go here during the day if you were to go. It's the only time it's decent to go. Friday nights are terrible. From my experience, it's a bunch of high schoolers with fake ID's taking up the bar population. It's a zoo that's what it is. It's a filthy place on Friday nights and that's the truth. This place for sure doesn't have gourmet food or anything but it's a fun place to go for a game or with a big group of people! Lots of drink options. You have to buy a drink if you're getting food... This makes some people mad but really- who cares? The food is so cheap, it really doesn't make a difference. Just sack up and grab yourself a bud light. Or soda. Whatever. Haha. Speaking of drinks.... They don't have a drink menu, which is super odd to me. Both times that I've been here they have just handed me a piece of paper with all their beers hand written out on some scrap paper. And the liquor was all written out too. But no like real mixed drinks were on there. Just literally a list of the liquor they had behind the bar. So strange. And the list had like some random persons phone number on it? Hahaha... Full disclosure this review is for one thing and oen thing only: the chicken wings. 5 stars. Some of the best wings I've had. the smack ya mama garlic are to die for. Now yes, the place smells like smoke. But know that going in. I only had the wings so I don't know about any other food. All of the times I've been were for a late lunch so it was not busy so im not sure about service at a peak time. Wednesday food a drink special is great. So is thursdays ribs and fridays steak special. Wish they had the breakfast buffet like they use to with the old owners or the fried chicken buffet. But the other specials are top notch. Sadly they made this place the new electric cowboy on wednesdays which brought in the young and dumb rowdy kids that are probably under age. I try and go around 7 before they get there and make the place loud and smelly. This place has good food but the dj always sucks anytime iv went. Bartenders are usually drunk as well and many imes the dj is to as well as the owners past and present. I guess its a good dive bar for the specials they have. Side note most everything on the menu is good for the price. Except the pizza that is awful only had it once and it tasted like they microwaved a freaking lunchables pizza straight out of a kids lunch box. read more

This is the 'largest' dive I have ever been to. The food and drinks are pretty cheap, but the place is dingy. For being centrally located in St. Charles county, they draw a crowd that does not fit in with the area. I happened to be here on a fairly slow day, but given my experience with the clientele that they draw, I can only imagine that most people in the area would not fit in. Let's be honest. It is a biker bar that should be placed in a rural part of the county/area, not along one of the more busy and populated areas of town. But, it has been in business for awhile, so if it works, it works. I just won't be going back ever again. read more

Went here for a birthday party and had a blast, they had food which was ok (toasted rav & crab ragoon). There was also a live band which rocked the house with 80s staples which really seemed to get the crowd a movin The crowd was mostly older (30+) shall I say, not particularly fashion conscious. The bar was INCREDIBLY smokey and they refused to open any doors to get some fresh air moving which i thought was complete bs My major complaint was for one we only had 1 waitress for a party of about 30 so we were constantly running dry. Also, the bartender seemed to just make up prices as he goes bc he completely ripped me off when I bought a round of two house vodka tonics and was charged $25! Next time we ordered the same round it was only $8! Went because I saw an ad for all you can eat steak for 6.99. Server said that she never heard of that and wouldn't honor my word. I go home and see ad and call the manager. Server answers and refuses to let me talk to manager. She goes on to say that she was aware of the ad and they did not care what it says because it was a typo. Again I tried to get to manager and was hung up on. This is the last time I'm dealing with this place after so many bad service outings and shady special changes in the past ! This was an interesting place. My first opinion was negative, due to the plethora of cigarette smoke emanating from the bar area and stage seating. Luckily we were directed to the non-smoking area. Unfortunately, the non-smoking area gives you the definite idea that you are the bastard step-child due to being crammed in the back of the place away from anything remotely entertaining, but that's OK, I will gladly sit in a boring back seating area away from the music and bar to avoid the lung crippling disgust that is the smoking section. I can't wait until St. Charles goes non-smoking, but that's a different story. The server came over and was very friendly. She took our orders and offered some suggestions on drinks. I ordered the .99 cent burger, some peel and eat shrimp and chicken wings. It was a great burger and cooked just the way I like it. The shrimp were quite small, and I will avoid them in the future. They are double the price of Fast Eddies and only half the size. The chicken wings were pretty tasty. The sauce seemed store bought, but that's not always a bad thing. Especially since the wings were only .49 cents each and double the size of Buffalo Wild Wings. My wife had the fried fish platter and asparagus. It was pretty tasty too. A buddy of mine had the steak kebab, and it was pretty delicious. The menu was much bigger than Fast Eddies, which is the place they seem to be competing with. I like the idea of staying in Missouri and not having to cross the river into the most corrupt state in America, so this place may bump Fast Eddies in my world for years to come. Overall, the price was right, which is why this place gets the four star victory in spite of the obvious shortcomings. I have heard this place is crazy on the weekends, so I will NEVER come here on a Friday or Saturday unless it's snowing and no one else can make it out of their driveway. Haha! Total bill for three people to get stuffed full, five alcoholic drinks and lots of people watching...less than $50. We left a good tip and it topped off at less than $60. We brought a group of 15 over from cottleville. Got seated immediately. So far so good. That's where it went wrong. The waitress comes over and ask for drink orders and has a huge attitude. I asked for what was on draught and her response was,"we have 20 beers on tap babe. Go look." Then we order food. We were the first of the group to order. Everyone was done eating before our waitress returned. She said sorry and comped us our beer. We finally got our apps and entrees together at the same time an hour late. We asked to see a manager. She came over but I'm sure she was just another waitress. She made excuses as to why our nachos were an hour late. I told her we didn't want anything for free but someone should know. I completely agree with Taylor. This place is one of my go-to places because the food is always good without shelling out a ton of money. I can get a great meal with a beer or margarita for the price of an ok meal, no beverage at all, from other places. I highly recommend their Wed night all-you-can-eat chicken. Not only do you get delicious chicken, but wings, fried ravioli, green beans, salad, mashed potatoes, biscuits, gravy, and I think they had one other thing last time I was there. If you like eating and drinking in a place that feels like a dirty ashtray and being "served" by staff that doesn't give a damn, you may have a differing opinion. I tried to like this place. Every since the new owners - a young couple that mostly just seems to want to use it as their own private clubhouse to smoke and drink with their friends - The Babylon has gone straight to hell. The food is cheap, but at least it is bland and boring too. The toasted rav may as well be from a bag of grocery store pizza rolls. The burgers are dry and tasteless. The staff seems more interested in hurrying us off than in actually having us as customers. The music is loud and impossible to talk over. After an hour there, I felt like I needed a shower. This place has a really unique feel to it. When we first arrived all of the open tables had signs on them that said reserved. It was a busy Sat night and we hadn't even thought about making a reservation. oops! They we're super helpful though and found us a table. Everything here is super cheap so you HAVE to buy a non-water drink. The burgers are steak and shake style, and awesome. The wings are non-breaded (which is the best way to have them IMO) and are great. I really enjoyed the Asian sauce. Food was not great. We were there on a Saturday night on Jan 3,2015 and the waitress closed out our table before I paid (separate checks). I told her and she had a lot of trouble getting it take care of so I could pay. NOW, they charged me AGAIN a second time, for my check on Jan 22nd.
