when my family was essentially ignored after finally getting their order inside the restaurant last year, I was open to forgiving the condiment request as a bad day among the staff, with all of their backs turned toward the front counter. yesterday, 6/21/26, my son and I went into the Springboto, Ohio store, to order a larger family meal for a birthday party, and were again faced with staring at the backs of all the employees ignoring the front counter. we snddd up leaving and ordering at a competitive across the street. I don't think we will ever try this store again. F as I'll me once, shame on you. Fail me twice, shame on me. Popeyes...please do better, but you won't have that chance with me again. read more

Waited over an hour for my food with no communication or updates from staff. Orders were clearly backed up, but no one bothered to explain what was going on or manage the line. I don't mind waiting if it's busy -- I do mind being ignored and treated like my time doesn't matter. This was easily the worst customer service experience I've had at a Popeyes. read more

The manager BRANDY is awful. She was back in the back screaming at the other employees because they weren't closing the kitchen fast enough and because "she's super tired from working her other job". I felt really sorry for them. Then she made me leave and wait for my food outside because she wanted to lock the doors 10 minutes before they're supposed to close. It was bad. Worst everything. There's no way this location is making money. I've been turned down so many times cause we've been "out of something" aka too lazy to keep fresh product. I've managed multiple chicken stores at once. I know the workings of this place. I feel bad for the franchise owner. I stopped going to this place about 4 weeks ago. I tried to keep giving them chances and on the last one instead of subbing me strips or something for the chicken they were missing they told me I had to wait 15 minutes..... It would be like this all the time. Promos advertised but not honored get home wrong items. I just saw this on my yelp search so I decided to make it the official 1 star it doesn't deserve. Make sure you carefully check your order before leaving. I ordered plain boneless chicken wings and got honey something boned wings. There was about an inch of goo of some kind on the bottom of the tray. We ordered a apple cinnamon pie and instead got mashed potatoes which not even the dog would eat. No napkins. Wings were almost totally cold. I feel like rather than cook what we ordered they dished out what they happened to have.I think that is crap management and at worst this was malice. 3 stars is generous. My Dad has raved about the Popeye's chicken sandwich for years now, and on a recent trip to visit him in OH, I finally had a chance to try one with him. We both had the chicken sandwich with fries. Now to be fair, it was going to be near impossible to live up to the expectations he had built up with me, but I will say the chicken sandwich is very good. I also liked the way they do there fries (larger, not shoestrings). I would definitely get it again, but I think the next time I hit a Popeye's, I'll try the new Cajun flounder fish sandwich. Let's face it: their chicken sandwich is really all that and then some. If I could rate it a zero I absolutely would! out of the 3 times I have now been here I have waited 30 minutes or more EVERYTIME, I've had my orders messed up or just totally missing half of the meal. 3rd and last time coming here I pulled into the drive through at 9:25. Cars pulled in after me so I was stuck in line until 10! When I finally could order they told me they had stopped making food and only have a very small selection left because they closed at 10. I stopped in for carry out for lunch today. The interior looked clean and my order was taken promptly. The employee who took my order was polite, my order was correct, and I received it quickly. The spicy chicken breast was flavorful and tasted freshly cooked. The mashed potatoes/gravy were very good with a nice twist on traditional mashed potatoes. The biscuit that came with it was delicious. This was one of the better Popeyes I've been to - I would return if in the area. read more
