Roosters vs. Frickers = Toss up. First time at Rooster's, as we were told it's better than Fricker's... Apparently the owners were brothers that branched off and started separate joints. Either way, they're similar places. All-in-all, Roosters is the nicer place; Frickers is a bit run down and kinda of grungy. Roosters has more of a newer feel with more TVs with sports. The service is good at both places, and the wings are very similar too. Roosters has bigger wings and their sauces are a bit better than Frickers (plus they make their dressings in house; ranch and bleu cheese are fire). The appetizers go to Frickers though, as the Roosters appetizers were just all right. Pricing is about the same, with both being grossly over-priced = $125 for 4 people... Fast service at the bar during a quick lunch stop. I enjoyed a Caesar salad and some boneless wings. My favorite is the large glasses of tea they offer. Plenty of options on their menu if you don't like wings and the food is consistently good. We enjoy visiting Roosters, BDubs, and Frickers to watch games, but our recent experience at this Roosters location was incredibly disappointing. While we like the food and atmosphere, we mainly come to watch our favorite teams play. Yesterday, during the Steelers/Ravens game, the manager (we were told she is the GM) changed the channel while we were watching. When I asked why, she snapped at me. A few minutes later, because others were also watching the same TV, she walked by and made another sarcastic remark directly to me. It was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. Throughout the evening, her facial expressions and demeanor made it clear she was overwhelmed and unable to handle her role. She might treat her younger staff this way, but I am not one of them. This behavior was embarrassing and uncalled for, and it's not how you manage a business. Word of mouth is powerful, and my table and I will not be returning to this Roosters. We'll gladly take our business to BDubs, Roosters (Springboro) or Frickers, where customers are treated with respect. read more

We were sat in the very back in a booth by what looked like a janitor closet while other seats available. Waiter was ok but asked for bone in wings no breading to be extra extra crispy. This evening, my daughter and I came in for an early dinner. It was 5:30 PM on a Friday. The restaurant was very busy I believe because of baseball and we were told there was a wait inside but we could sit outside anywhere we wanted. We decided to eat outside as we had just finished traveling. We just wanted to come to a place that we knew the food was amazing 99.9% of the time and a place we were familiar with. From start to finish out on the patio between roaming ducks and geese that were intimidating to a lot of guest my daughter included, to the insane amount of bees and flies and nuts that made it almost impossible to eat our dinner. We moved tables several times in order to avoid the bees as I am allergic And it was just absolutely incredulous. We did ask if we were able to sit inside and we're told now after we watched other families encounter the same issues and have the server return to take them inside for a table. We overheard one server tell guest that she had been stung by bees three times in one day. There were a guest that came in. That were reminded oh yes, we can't sit out here because of the bees so apparently this is a known fact. I don't believe that guest should be uninformed to sit out on the patio without being told of the situation and the potential. It seems as if people that have long sleeve shirts and pants on weren't as bothered. Our server was mediocre at best was not very helpful at all, especially given our situation and understand that we were being completely swarmed by bees and other bags while we were eating within five minutes of us receiving our meals, he said I'm not trying to rush you and brought us to go boxes. Again, we were there to eat in a familiar place that was comfortable with good food not to order food that we paid $42 for just to put it in a box and leave. Again from start to finish the experience was absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous. One of my favorite wings places in Ohio and one of the spots I always need to visit when home. I've loved their wings since the college days and that has not changed in all these years. Their wings are big in size and super juicy. I usually order with their spicy garlic sauce on the size and love dipping each bite along with ranch to cool down the spice. Pros: They are conscious when it comes to covid, masks are required for staff as well as customers, they sanitize between customer visits and the customer service was good (Jacqulyn was really sweet). My Man said his wings were good, the parking was convenient and the wait time wasn't too long. Cons: The mozzarella sticks were frozen BUT they still could've been cooked long enough for the cheese to melt thoroughly and they should've been piping hot when they arrived to our table especially since they were frozen and that was not the case. They weren't cold but definitely not hot enough. The turkey burger was so thin that I automatically knew it was nothing more than a frozen patty (yuck, I didn't even eat half of it), the wings looked like they weren't cooked enough and they didn't look good at all (I refused to even taste them). We happened to locate this location by happenstance once I had bad experience at the smaller Roosters located 4 miles away, and I am glad we found this one!!! First they were packed...slammed jammed packed but we were still seated immediately and even though big big big Big 10 game on with Ohio State and Ohio University taking up the big screens, they gladly put the WVU game on the tv near us to watch..Big points in our book!!! We were also near a tv with the UK team we follow playing so were in heaven!!! We could see all three games that we were interested in. The food was on point!!! Alaina our waitress was there for our every need with soda and beer refills without us having to request it. We ordered the usual 10 Naked and Wet orginial wings and they were banging!!!! This is a late review. I was in town visiting my best friend and we decided to come here. She tried to bring me to this restaurant before and there was a long wait time. I ordered the red rooster salad without bacon with the red rooster dressing. The salad is a decent size and has plenty of toppings on it. I really enjoyed the rooster dressing it had a tangy taste to it. I also order 10 traditional wings half hot and half garlic. However, my friend forgot to mention to me how the big the wings are. When they came out my eyes got big, and I knew immediately I would be taking some home as leftovers. The flavoring of the wings was really tasty. I also got ranch on the side, and I loved the ranch. I know that's weird to say, but I have been to many restaurants and the ranch was not good. My friend got the same wing combination but with a caesar salad on the side. We also got a side of fries. Which I ended up wasting. I guess my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I can honestly say my experience at Rooster's was great. I absolutely love roosters and am an avid patron. But the experience I had tonight at this location, unacceptable. The server maybe was at our table twice, she was too concerned with talking and sitting down with her co workers at the next table over. Then when she asked how everything was and my husband responded that his chicken was cold. Her response, "But you already ate one". So rude and inappropriate. From there, she was short and rude.
