Every time I order in the app for pickup, I have to wait 30-40 minutes almost every time I get there for my food to come out. Several times I have paid for extra sauces and the employees in return throw grape sauce and other miscellaneous sauces I didn't ask for in my order Beyond frustrating having to walk into the store to see my food sitting there cold after having to wait that long. Upon entering this Popeyes on Kanner Hwy in Stuart, I saw a sign on the window of a "Shrimp Tackle Box $5.99", so I decided to order it. The guy at the counter (Nuri) asked me what side I would like and I said "French fries" and he handed me a drink cup and said it costs $8.55. I told him it reads $5.99 on the window. He called the manager lady over, who was running all over the place with the drive through orders and she said he was charging me for the "combo" and I told her I wanted what was advertised on the window. The server also said that the shrimp were huge (LOL). Yes, LOL. I went to sit at a table and out of 11 available tables, 11 of them were dirty with crumbs from previous customers. As I'm eating my food and typing this review, the tables are still dirty, there is no floor service here and the store is not packed. Got my food in a timely manner but the person taking order doesn't know what they are selling and the store is dirty. Also the order taker shouldn't tell customers that the shrimp is huge and show customers the approximate diameter with his hand. As a plus, I ordered a to-go order or regular chicken (2pc) and they only had spicy chicken and no fries. They told me I had to wait another 7 minutes for this. Not coming here anymore. F-that. Food is ok, but the tenders were pale a little under cooked. The staff could be more professional, they don't ask for your name on the order. I have witnessed them eating food behind the counter. My visit was about 6 weeks ago and the food was excellent but something happened and the response I got from the store manager has been nagging me for weeks. When I looked at my receipt, instead of ringing up the two sodas I ordered. They rang up 5 $1.00 donations instead. I was not asked if I wanted to give a donation? When I spoke with the store manager on the phone. She said this was the ringing instructions given by corporate for a charity drive they were doing. Instead of ringing in sodas. Advise the guest about the charity drive and if they approve. Ring up $1.00 donations for the full price of each soda. I find this unbelievable considering there is sales tax on poured beverages for immediate consumption in Florida and this would be skirting that tax obligation. In general most franchises inventory cups and have yield formulas on poured beverages to help determine profitability. I doubt corporate would allow this type of arrangement. Not sure exactly what's going on but I had to call it out. read more

After many months of hearing all the hype on this famous chicken sandwich, I decided to finally try it. I love fried chicken and I use to go to chick fil A, but after getting stomach pains that lasted for a couple of days from eating there I just quit going. So the chicken sandwich consist of a pretty large piece of fried chicken on a brioche bun with a sauce and large pickles. I requested extra pickles out of habit. I'm pretty surprised on how thick the pickles were and I'm not hating it. The sandwich itself isn't bad but I'm not understanding what all the hype is about. My wife and I abstain from meat during lent and we dropped in to see if Popeyes had a fish sandwich. Boy, did they. A beautifully done filet on a Brioche bun with their special hot sauce (you can give it plain or spicy but both have a real kick). A great place to stop for a meal in Stuart This restaurant is located on the northeast corner of FL 76 and I-95. It is less than 1/2 mile off I-95. It is located adjacent to a Race Trak gas station that it shares the road entrance. There is parking all the way around the other 3 sides of the restaurant. This restaurant has drive-through and dine-in options. I decided to dine in on this visit. The Popeye's chain has over 3400 restaurants, in 46 states and 30 countries. I have been to only about 5 of these, including this one. Each one has been clean, well kept, has friendly staff and great food. This one was very much like all the other ones that I have been to. There is a dining area with seating for about 50 seats at some tables, a few booths, and a counter. You order and pay at the counter and they call your number to pick up your food. The staff taking my order was pleasant and efficient. The prices were reasonable. The food came out quickly. I definitely recommend their iced tea, biscuits, and chicken sandwiches. You might also want to try their different sauces. They are delicious. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to get something to drink or eat in the area. read more

I had a very enjoyable dinner from Popeyes's!! I ordered the chicken tenders with one side! A drink was an extra $1..... The tenders were the best ever!! The side of mashed potatoes and gravy were good, but I'll always pass on the gravy, it was way to spicy for me. I tried a couple of the dips for the tenders and the buttermilk was the best. This may just be the very best Popeyes in the world!!!! The staff is sooooo genuinely friendly! From the cashiers to the manager to even the front of house man named Red. Red was so sweet asking everyone if they needed anything or could he get anything for us! I saw the manager personally walk over and give a little crying toddler a apple pie and she stopped crying. The speediness of the food was unexpected because of how crowded it was but our food was ready and served in under five minutes hot, juicy and delicious! They took my order and my credit care before they told me I had to wait 10 minutes for chicken. Then they told me non red beans and rice. So I just asked for money back. Our last visit to a Popeye's franchise was horrible (stay away from the Orange City, FL location). That being said, I wish I could pick up this location and their staff and move it closer to our home. I ordered a 16 pc family meal with half spicy and half regular,3 lg side orders, mashed potatoes with gravy, cajun rice, and mac and cheese. The chicken was outstanding,to say I was impressed is an understement, Juicy,perfect battered crust,spicy. The sides were just as impressive...Mash with Cajun gravy was perfect in it's spiciness, as was the Cajun rice. The mac and cheese was beyond cheesy... We went there at 840PM on a Saturday night and were told they were out of chicken.... isn't that the whole purpose of the restaurant is to sell chicken... We were told that they already started cleaning and shutting down the kitchen and we should come earlier not wait until after 830. OK then change your hours because it says you are open until 11, not 830. Very disappointed in attitude of staff and owner who seems to never be there at night because the teenage staff does what they want and apparently don't care about serving customers needs. Plan on sitting in line for 30 minutes in the drive-thru or worse, wait for 30 minutes inside the store. At least it is consistent! When I was there, the team seemed to have a lot of conflict (arguing and hot tempers) and also lots of "standing around." People kept walking by me at the counter and one manager stepped up to the counter then abruptly walked away to do something else. I am sure it's hard to find good help and effective management.
