Had a really good breakfast here this morning. Everything came out hot and tasted great, and the portions were definitely generous. The pancakes, eggs, bacon, biscuits, and skillets were all solid, and our table had a little bit of everything. The only miss for me was the sausage patties. They were noticeably overcooked and a little dry compared to everything else. Not enough to ruin the meal, but definitely the one thing I'd want done differently next time. I was fortunate to come here and give this place a chance. I am genuinely not a fan of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store; however, my client and their family enjoyed this restaurant, so I had to tag along. I ordered the shareable duo of loaded hashbrown casserole tots (no bacon) and white cheddar bites. The loaded hashbrown casserole tots were crispy, crunchy, fluffy yumminess. The white cheddar cheese bites were not too greasy and had a nice texture. I also ordered a country fried steak, which had to be sent back since the gravy contained pork sausage. I was glad to receive a second one with ranch instead. The country fried steak was shockingly crispy and tender. For my sides, I chose seasoned buttery rice, pinto beans, and onion petals. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. The beans were pretty good, and I enjoyed them even more when I mixed them with the rice to make a complete protein, as the two complement each other wonderfully. The onion petals were not my favorite; I did not care for their flavor and felt they were a bit too greasy. We also ordered two shareable desserts: the cinnamon roll skillet and biscuit beignets. Both were remarkably delicious, although a bit too sweet. For a drink, I had the opportunity to try a variety of teas mixed with lemonade, all of which were delicious. The service was excellent; the waitress was kindhearted, friendly, sweet, and possessed many other remarkable personality traits. Overall, the experience was great and enjoyable! This used to be our favorite place to go-what happened to the service? The last few times we've come it's the same story. Today was the last straw. 15 min to be greeted-had to get our waitress by going to the hostess stand. No apology. The waitress was rude and was arguing over bringing us a condiment-what? It was as if she was doing us a favor. The order was wrong it was just not a fun experience at all. So sadly our time at Cracker Barrel had come to an end. This location is not good for food. The food came out with hot spots so we knew immediately it was microwaved. The country fried steak is a burger patty not cube steak. The fried okra was cold and inedible which is hard for fried okra to be bad. The fried apples were cold. I got pretty standard items that should be any easy hit and it was all a miss. They have $6 take home meals and we don't even think it was worth the $6 to get something to go. Diane was great but the 1 star is because the food was absolutely not worth it. read more

We love Cracker Barrel because no matter which one you try, the food is always fresh and tasty. Good service is always offered. Glasses are never empty and we are asked if we need anything, often. Cleanliness is important to the staff. And, it's nice when a manager stops by to ask how everything went, if we were satisfied. I love the store where you can buy better quality clothes, odd items, candy etc. I highly recommend Cracker Barrel. Its old time charm is a refreshing treat. I went for the most fantastic chicken pot pie today, just to be told that it's no longer on the menu. Are you kidding me!? Settled for the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and corn. The meatloaf is ok. The potatoes were warm and a bit lumpy. I was served an entire can of corn! Whose going to eat that much corn? The service was good. She was on time and checked backed periodically. This should be a zero star review. I have never been as disappointed with a restaurant interaction as my party of 3 had at this Cracker Barrel location. It was the first time in a Cracker Barrel for my wife and daughter. I was singing its praises as an iconic American highway restaurant. They were impressed with all the rocking chairs and retail store inside. We were then seated very quickly at the darkest table in the dining room. ( ok, my fault for not asking to change) A waiter came took our order and brought our water. Then nothing, and I mean nothing not an update not a plate NOTHING. After 20 min I caught the eye of our waiter and asked him to check the kitchen. He came out and told us the breakfast items were ready to be plated but the campfire chicken which they are promoting was out and not available. When was someone going to inform us, it should have been as soon as the order hit the kitchen. The waiter expected to bring out two plates and have my daughter order something new. I have never seen a major corporate restaurant drop the ball so badly. I asked for the manager, the asst manager came out and was either embarrassed or didn't care, she just smiled and said thank you for the feedback. I don't know how often this happens, but if you run into this problem just north on us1 there is a Denny's with a wonderful waitress name Jenee and we were eating hot and tasty food in ten minutes, In a bright comfortable booth not hard punishing chairs. read more

I love their old timey ambiance of pictures, signs, tools and toys of yesteryear strategically placed on the walls for the customers to enjoy. So, we generally love Cracker Barrel but have found this location in Jensen Beach needing addition server training. We were seated and no acknowledged for almost 10 minutes. Also, last night we order curb side pickup, and they were out of chicken noodle soup but failed to contact us, so they just never made the order. We notified them that we had arrived and what spot # and after 20 minutes had to go inside. The manager just gave us extra carrots, but I had paid for an up-charge item of soup. After requesting diced ham IN the eggs, it was communicated when the food arrived "sorry we don't do that." You don't CUT food? Odd given you are in the RESTAURANT SERVICE industry. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is a restaurant chain that is kind of synonymous with the southeast. I have to say that I like the country store more than the restaurant part. It is not that Country Barrel Old Country Store is not a terrible restaurant, it is just that it is nothing special. It is that it is a chain restaurant that focuses more on producing a consistent product rather than offering a memorable and incredible meal. I find their breakfast menu to be the best meal offerings and I would recommend their country fried steak and eggs. It is pretty good. The gift store is pretty cool. It is supposed to be like a general store and has a pretty cool vibe. All in all, not a bad choice, just nothing special. The service was friendly and the food was decent. I will give it three stars, but not a bad three stars. It was just an average experience. read more

I have to say this location and staff really have it together. We were seated immediately, ordered our food, and received our food in ~10 minutes. They were crazy fast and everyone was so sweet and kind. I absolutely love the chicken and dumplings here as it tastes exactly like how my great grandmother used to make hers. It honestly tastes the same at every location I've been to across the country which is amazing. I was so excited to get the meal so quickly as I was craving it for days. Amazing service. We have been at this location multiple times but today was beyond amazing. We had a group of 12 and our server was executional in taking care of us. The food was amazing and everything was to order. Lugenia was an amazing server and we all loved how she had personal conversations with us. This review is a tough one as I truly had a conflicted experience with my family here. Here's the breakdown... The good: -The food was as expected,  not the best in the world but definitely hits a nostalgic spot for me. The saturday night pork chop special is actually really good and the turnip greens are nothing to put down either. The questionable: -Joined the waitlist at 6:07pm, got a text indicating our table should be ready by 6:20 with a 15 minute window. -Got there at 6:12pm, walked in and was told there would be a 35 to 45 minute wait...okay -Walk around the store and engage in an invigorating game of checkers, other tables are called but not ours. -My aunt goes to check again and thr hostess says there is still a 35 to 45 minute wait. We had waited 25 minutes already. -After another 20 minutes or so there is no party left waiting except ours. After locking eyes with the hostess numerous times she walks back and forth from the kitchen to the host table. She looks at me and says... "are you waiting for a table"? - I say "yes, we have been here for some time " and she looks at me and angrily looks at her seating chart and says "im so sorry i thought you had left already and we took your name of the waiting list, I dont know what happened". We then finally get seated. In situations like these it is always hard to tell if it was a honest mistake or were there intentions by the hostesses actions. I think it is very easy and lazy to jump to the conlcusion that the color of the skin of my family and I had something to do with it, but I would like to give the benefit of the doubt. However, I don't think it is unfair of me to say that, sometimes, the answer is the most obvious one. I'll split the difference and go 2.5 which rounds to 3 stars. read more

Came here for my neighbors birthday. We came here because our neighbor, which. T the way turned 93 today, wanted cracker barrel instead of a more high end meal. I'm sorry to say they should of taken me to the other places in mind. When you walk in, it brings you back to the good ol days. Wooden rockers, wood interior, old style candy. We walked up to the host. They sat us immediately. We sat down and were greeted by our waitress. She was very nice. Tall, thin, black hair. She brought us our drinks. She then took our orders. I ended up ordering the chicken tenders on her recommendation with the side orders of dumplings, side salad and mash potatoes. The birthday boy ordered the roast beef with Lima beans, mashed potatoes and sliced apples. They ran out of Lima beans and I forget the other side order that was also gone that he wanted. The others ordered the meals. The meals came with cornbread and biscuits. Cornbread was not that good. Biscuits were good. The results of the meal are of the following: my chicken tenders looked like nuggets. They were good but where was the rest of the meal? The mashed potatoes were dry and tasteless. Honestly bad. The dumplings were supposed to have chicken in it. I didn't taste chicken. Also missing a lot of flavor. The side salad was at least fresh. My neighbors meal was a disaster. He didn't even eat his roast beef as it was mostly gristle. They didn't have the 2 original side orders. The waitress had to keep coming back to give him the bad news. He didn't like his green beans or mashed potatoes either. Overall, the meal was a letdown. Tasteless, bland, missing most my meal and ran out of sides. I will not be coming back. read more

Although the restaurant had many empty tables we waited quite some time to be acknowledged after we were seated. When we were finally able to order and received our beverages. I have never been so displeased with my food at Cracker Barrel. I knew that the menu had some changes but I didn't expect the flavor of their vegetables would be changed. My carrots were not fully cooked and certainly were not the southern veggie I had come to expect. The Mac and Cheese was soggy. The serving sizes have definitely shrunk. The presentation was sloppy at best. My husband ordered their maple bacon chicken which he said was dry. Crackers Barrel was always a favorite of ours when traveling for their tasty, wholesome food and clean bathrooms. Guess I'll just be stopping for the ladies' room from now on! read more
