I pulled up to PDQ tonight for one reason. I wanted a chicken sandwich that would make me forget about my problems for at least twenty minutes. I ordered the Honey Butter sandwich and threw a slice of cheddar on it for good measure. The bun looked like it had seen some things, but the chicken inside was crispy, juicy, and absolutely carrying the team. The honey butter flavor came through, and the cheddar was... present. Barely. It was giving participation trophy vibes. My waffle fry basket came loaded with seasoning and, to my surprise, four crispy nuggets just chilling in there like bonus content. Honestly, those nuggets were some of the best bites of the whole meal. Unexpected W for the night. Now the sauces. The PDQ sauce was not my thing at all. Flavor crisis. Couldn't commit to a personality. But the Buffalo Bleu? That sauce understood the assignment. Perfect balance of tang and heat. Easily the MVP on the table. Inside, the place was spotless and decorated like Christmas went full takeover mode. Cozy, clean, and bright without being chaotic. The freestyle soda machine was glowing like a spaceship command center. Ordering on the kiosks was stupid easy. No lines, no waiting, just tap tap done. The only hiccup was the sandwich presentation. It looked like the chef assembled it while emotionally processing a tough text. Bun leaning left, cheese hanging out like it wanted to escape. Still tasted good, but visually it could use a pep talk. Our grandson loves eating at this PDQ restaurant after his baseball games. The staff is always friendly. Outside and inside of PDQ is immaculately clean. Everyone in our party of 7 can find something that they like or try something new. PDQ's menu includes fried or grilled chicken sandwiches, fried or grilled chicken salads, soft drinks, and milk shakes. I enjoy the gluten free chicken tenders. The rest of the family enjoys their meals but their favorite menu item are the cookies for after lunch or dinner. We're able to sit and eat our meals as fast or as leisurely as we like. Been to this location several times for drive through orders. Everyone time they forget something. No sauces that I asked for. Zero attention to detail. PDQ is my new favorite fast food! The chicken tenders/nuggets sauced with the Garlic Buffalo are absolutely delicious! Both the ranch and blue cheese dip are great! Wow! First of all, very clean so A+ for that. Second, I have never heard of PDQ but kept driving by so my curiosity was piqued. Stopped by got a buffalo chicken sandwich deluxe, it was delicious. Seriously the chicken is cooked PERFECTLY. Fries are standard waffle fries very yum. Told my parents about it and we all came back. My dad ordered a chicken sandwich with bbq sauce and loved it and also remarked at how perfect the chicken was cooked. Mom got chicken fingers and it comes with texas toast and fries, she loved them as well. Then we brought my brother who said the same thing, wow the chicken is cooked perfectly. So 3 for 3 on our visits and 100% of the people I have told about it shared the same feedback about the chicken being cooked perfectly. read more

Wow, I tried PDQ in Tradition when they had a soft opening. I wasn't impressed. I then kept hearing from my Mom and Niece how wonderful the food was there. Finally I went back with them and WoW it was wonderful. There are few fast food restaurants I want to eat in but this is one of them. Service was Great and the place was so clean. Every worker there was just buzzing around cleaning things and coming by to see if we needed anything, Signs of good Management. I now have been back with my husband several times. In a pinch of quality fast food- I turn to PDQ. I had a hard time debating what I wanted.. spicy or not spicy.. nuggets.. tenders.. sandwich? I typically go for nuggets but this time I went for the Jack spicy chicken sandwich. I ordered at the window and paid there. Next window my food was ready. The sandwich had a hefty piece of spicy chicken and pepper jack cheese. I gobbled down very quick, it was tasty! Not too spicy that I was crying, a mild for me. I didn't get any sides that day but their loaded tots are amazing! I do also like they have 'healthy' sides like broccoli and zucchini fries. Visited on 5/2/21 - didn't even know this was here so it must be quite new. Very disappointing to see how new the outside looks and how dirty it is inside. There was also an unpleasant smell as you walk in. We ordered 2 10 pieces chicken tenders and 2 fries. One order had 10 and one order had 9. The chicken tenders themselves were very inconsistent in size with some being quite smaller than others. The chicken tenders were saturated in oil as well. The waffle fries were very bland and left a film in my mouth after eating them. The boxes of fries were barely filled and had lots of empty spaces. I considers writing this review, wrote and posted the review all while waiting for my food. It's not even closing time! There's at least three workers that I can see inside. After consuming my three tenders, I have downgraded my review to one star. For chicken tenders to be your signature product, they are mid at best. And that pdq sauce is an absolute fail. Decided to try this place out, see what it was all about. Ordered some chicken nuggets, waffle fries, chicken tenders. The first thing that struck me was that the food reminded me of Chick-fil-a. Similar style, but when I took a bite I have to say it was different. More crisp and crunchy (both the chicken and the fries) and very tasty. The garlic sauce and the PDQ sauce (which had a very nice herbs-and-spices flavor, a lot of depth) were the best for dipping; the honey mustard and BBQ were nice too. To wash it all down, I got an Arnold Palmer and it was pretty good. Overall, the food was worth the visit. A lot of places claim to have the best chicken, chicken nuggets, chicken salads, Buffalo chicken ect, but the chicken at PDQ is a completely different level in the best way. They have zucchini fries with the best batter and crunch. I don't even like waffle fries, but their waffle fries are fantastic crunchy, flavorful and always cooked really well. My favorite sandwich here is the Buffie Blue it is a perfect level of heat for a buffalo chicken sandwich! It has amazing flavor, and I don't think I can find one single thing that I would change! The chicken tenderloins are absolutely amazing and yes they are more than you're gonna pay at McDonald's, but there's a reason for that. This is real juicy chicken, with the perfect crunch, and delicious flavor. These are a hit with everyone we know. The young lady with blonde hair that was working as the cook in the back was not wearing a mask on her mouth (it was on her neck it was there the entire 15! When this place first opened up, the food was great! A year later...no good at all. The butter chicken sandwich's was not at all crispy. The $1.00 you pay extra for guacamole, comes in a small 2 Oz soufflé container...1/2 filled! The waffle fry portion is very small and the large zucchini portion was smaller than expected, salty and seemed soggy more than crispy. The free soda was in a smaller than any other fast food restaurant I've ever been to. See what we paid below. I was then told that I could only pay cash in at the 2nd window. I ultimately went inside and they stood and whispered to each other for 2 minutes before taking my order. I ordered two deluxe spicy chicken sandwiches and got this instead. Not spicy and not deluxe. I've been to PDQs all over Florida from Orlando to Pompano Beach and have never been treated like this. On March 9, I drove 26 minutes each way during a severe thunderstorm to get food from PDQ because that's what I really wanted, it's worth the drive! Apparently the registers were brand new so I needed to wait a bit more time to get rung up at the drive thru. This also may be the reason why I don't have points for that day or a digital receipt in the app. Moving along, I paid $40 for 3 meals. Drove back home another 26 minutes in the heavy rain. I had bitten into my Jack Buffy sandwich (or whatever it's called), several times before realizing that I was EATING THE PAPER LINER THAT SEPARATES THE CHEESE SLICES. I called the store the next day, spoke to a woman that said "I can't really do anything for you, but my manager comes in on Sunday and he'll be able to fix this situation, our registers are new and I don't know how to look up your transaction". I left her with my name and number, after a promise that William, the store manager would call me. That never happened. Sunday comes and goes...nothing. On Monday I called the store before opening hours and explained what happened to someone else that said that William will be in the store in about an hour. I left that person with my name and number as well. I haven't heard back from anyone regarding my experience. I literally ate paper due to someone's negligence and failure to pay attention to DETAIL on my food. I haven't been offered so much as an apology let alone my order replaced or my money refunded. I could've never expected something like this from a place that I believed was worth the 30 minute drive. I used to drive to West Palm Beach for PDQ because that was the closest location to Port St Lucie. As much as I love PDQ, I doubt I'll ever step foot into another one again. read more
