We've given this location so many chances and we honestly don't ever have a good experience. Our order is always wrong and the workers usually have attitude and don't ever know what way is up and what way is down. On several occasions we have ordered the macaroni and cheese and each time it's cold old and tastes like dirty dish water. They also seem to intentionally miss most of your order. Like a scam? I suppose. You pay for the order but as soon as you look at it at least 3 items will be missing. My mother is 90 years old and currently recovering in a rehab center in Temecula. One of the few things she truly enjoys right now is Popeyes chicken, so I tried to place an order for her through Grubhub. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly frustrating. Grubhub could not make a simple change to the order, and when I called the Popeyes location on Temecula Parkway directly for help, I received no support there either. All I was trying to do was substitute a Diet Coke for a regular Coke--something that should be very simple. Instead of assisting, the Manager responded with, "What do you expect me to do?" and made no effort to help. It was dismissive and disappointing, especially considering the situation. Customer service seems completely lacking at this location, which likely explains the low ratings. Overpriced for what they were advertising... n left with no bucket/box of chicken..After A Few Cold nuggets we were going to go back thru the drive-through and asked for hot nuggets and some fries, but everything was just too crowded... The best Popeyes I had was the one in Marietta that was inside the gas station which is no longer there... Then I heard the gas station manager... Tell us that the cleaning supplies in the buckets of cleaning bags were right next to the cooking areas in the back since they've shared the lease on that building... That was a huge turn off he said I wouldn't eat a thing out of there so there were buckets of cleaning solutions opened in full of products right next to the stoves and that was a cleaning stuff used to clean the store for the Shell station that used to be there across from the Walmart on Marietta Hot Springs Rd. I guess they replaced it. Another location made a bigger spot. I have not tried that location but the two that I have Temecula in Lake Elsinore have been very lousy KFC it is.!!! hire some decent people I don't understand they're getting paid 20 bucks an hour. It's better than the other wages and the other states they're only getting very minimal pay and they work hard to put out a good product that these people don't care they're there just to get a check and they don't care that. Unacceptable behavior from management. On February 10, 2026 around noon, I had a very poor experience at this Popeyes due to the conduct of the manager, Erica. My order had been successfully placed and paid for, and I showed proof of confirmation. Despite this, she insisted the issue was "not on her end" and told me to cancel the order. I explained and showed her that the system would not allow cancellation because the order was already processed. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she raised her voice and yelled at me. There was no attempt to de-escalate or resolve the issue in a respectful manner. This was embarrassing and completely inappropriate, especially for someone in a management role in hospitality. Mistakes happen, but how they are handled matters. Yelling at a customer is never acceptable. I hope this location addresses its management training and customer service standards. read more

My family and I have been loyal customers of Popeyes for years--we truly love your food and brand. Over the past year, however, we've frequented this particular location and have consistently run into problems. Unfortunately, on roughly 8 out of 10 visits, our orders have been incorrect or the customer service has been unwelcoming and, at times, downright rude. We're not the only ones who have noticed these issues. I've attached screenshots of several reviews from other customers who have had similar experiences. It's clear there's a recurring problem at this location, and we're reaching out in the hopes that something can be done to improve the situation. To give you an example, during our most recent visit, we went through the drive-thru and asked for an 8-piece family meal with all legs. We were flatly told "no," without any explanation or alternative, so we left without ordering. This interaction was, unfortunately, emblematic of many others we've had there. Please understand, I'm not writing in search of compensation--I simply want to see this store reflect the quality and service we associate with the Popeyes name. It's the only nearby location, and we truly want to continue being customers. However, unless there are noticeable improvements, we've decided that this most recent visit will be our last. Out visit was a disappointment. We ordered the family meal 16 pcs through the drive thru. I looked in the bags and thought I had all of our food to get home which is 2 miles away to find out we didn't get our biscuits. I called the store and whoever answered told me I could come get them. I explained I lived 2 miles away that wasn't an option. He said I could come get them the following day. I asked him if I could get a meal since there is no point in just getting biscuits. I love love love your spicy chicken sandwich and have visited the Temecula Parkway location once a month for the last couple of years and want to share some negative impressions. First and foremost, the staff who take my order seem to hate doing their job. I always try to come on with a very friendly attitude, and it is never returned. I get the impression that the employee wishes I had gone elsewhere so he or she wouldn't have to bother with me. I always say that the sandwich is to "eat here," but I always get it in a bag and have to ask for a tray because one is never offered. It's rare to see a fast food restaurant this well managed. I had a great experience at Popeye's, and a big part of that was thanks to the excellent management by Monet.
