Terrible option for dine in. I came by for lunch to try one of their new discount meals. I got the $7 deal which was a small drink, small fries, small (4) nuggets and a double hamburger. I also added a large iced coffee because that was on sale. So $10 all in. Very fair deal. What was not fair was that dining in was a compete joke. No real ordering counter. Had to use a kiosk. But the rub is that it was almost 30 minutes to get food. This place was so short staffed because of the min wage increase there is only one person that is assigned to deliver food to your table. The food was fine--it's McDonald's, so you pretty much know exactly what you're going to get. The burgers, fries, and drinks were what you'd expect, and I don't have any major complaints about the food itself. The problem is everything else. From the moment I walked in, it was obvious this place was a mess. Employees were arguing with one another, customers were acting rowdy, and at one point I even saw people going behind the counter. It felt less like a restaurant and more like a circus. The whole atmosphere was chaotic and poorly managed. You can usually tell when a location has leadership problems, and this place desperately needs a new GM or management team. There didn't seem to be any control over what was happening, and the overall experience was stressful instead of enjoyable. Had I known it was going to be this much of a zoo, I would have gone somewhere else. Again, the food was standard McDonald's fare, but the environment was so bad that it completely overshadowed the meal. I won't be returning to this location anytime soon. I am a frequent customer here and I order pickup for my lunch on some days. I ordered my food and ended up waiting 50 minutes to get my whole order as I watched everyone else that came after me in curbside pickup get their food before me. I went inside and I had to tell them about my order which was forgotten about. It was a terrible experience to wait 50 minutes for pre paid food and receive it cold. It baffles me the incompetence of the McDonalds team here at this location. I put an order thru the app this past Sunday for breakfast and went thru the drive thru to pick my order only to be handed my coffee and told to head to space 3 in the front. No problem right? WRONG! There was another car already in that space so I decided to park in the spot next to it to intercept the person that would be bringing out the food. Ordered a double patty Big Mac and filet-o-fish through the app. I went through the drive thru to pick up my order and even told the lady in the pick up window that it was a double Big Mac and filet-o-fish. She nodded as she was getting my order. Of course thank god I checked my order because it's not that I don't trust them...IT'S BECAUSE I DON'T TRUST THEM! I moved up so I didn't want to hold up the line and sure enough I got a regular Big Mac!!! The tag on the Big Mac even said XTRA 2 Regular meat! This location needs corporate intervention/ new management. They are incapable of getting an order right. Every time you go through the drive thru they ask you to pull forward and wait for your food in a parking spot, even when you place an online app order well in advance and have already sat in the drive through for 15+ minutes. THEN they don't bring your food out for 15+ minutes forcing you to go into the store which is disgustingly dirty. Horrible customer service and attitudes. Wife purchased the Big Mac family meal, as always they mess up the order by missing multiple items. Happens every time. When we catch it staff acts like we are inconveniencing them to make the correction when they get paid 20$ an hour not to make these mistakes. This place can get super busy! There were a ton of drive thru orders (there was a long long line of cars) and dine in guests. Luckily, we weren't really in a hurry. We were just stopping by to get a drink before heading back to San Diego. They have self service kiosks, but if you are needing to talk to a live person, it might take a minute. They have a busy drive thru, so employees might be busy in back prepping orders. The way the front of this place is designed, it is difficult to see if someone is standing up front and requires help. The employees here are friendly, it just seems the design of the store makes customer service a low priority. Plenty of tables and the place is clean. I won't really comment on the food. We all kind of know what to expect when we order McDonald's food. The best thing here are the fries, and the soft drinks always taste good (right mix of syrup and carbonation). Not from the area, so I'm not sure when I might be back. I wouldn't come here if it's super busy (like during peak hours). One cool thing is the weekly specials. We got our food but at what cost? They told me to pull over to a stall because the burger wasn't ready. I asked if I had to cause you know its the drive thru and I had my toddler with me and they said yes I had to. So I went to the stall they told me to but someone else was parked there. 10 minutes later someone comes out with my order and tries to deliver it to the other car, they were about to go back inside when I had to call them over, and yes it was my order. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had! I ordered a McDouble with no ketchup, mustard, or pickles and it came with only ketchup, mustard, and pickles. When I went up to have it fixed, I received attitude and then a he slapped a burger in my had that had the same paper on it turned inside out and said here is your McDouble. I never post reviews and I installed yelp just to leave this review. Last night I made an order on the mobile app, and picked up my food. They got me the wrong size fries, no big deal. I returned to the drive thru and handed them my bag and receipt, and asked to replace the fries. They returned my bag with only fries in it. The rest of my order was now missing. I had to return AGAIN to get my original order back with the correct size fries. What was supposed to be a quick drive to McDonald's turned into an hour long ordeal and I got home at midnight, no apologies or anything. For about the past 4 years this McDonald's has always messed up my orders quite often, and their fries are almost always soggy and under seasoned. This McDonald's used to be very fast and quick. Now the drive thru cashiers are always rude and have an attitude. The inside used to be fast but now since they did the renovation. You have to stand there forever just to get sauce. The wall up hides the people messing around in the back which we have seen multiple times while waiting. Look at the eight numbered stalls they ask you to park in when they don't have your order ready even after sitting in the drive thru line for over ten minutes. They even haves taped signs on the eight stalls giving a phone number to call if you've been waiting. Worse, after waiting forever they get your order wrong or forget straws or whatever. This is the strangest McDonald's I've been to. It's clean and new. You order your food and pick up your food through a cubbie. The drinks are not self serve, even tap water. They have to get it for you and put it through the cubbies. The cashier disappears into the kitchen and you have to wait for her to appear.
