I keep attempting to give this location a chance. The food is always good but there are times when they are out of chicken or items such as dipping sauces etc. They have been out of ice now for over 2 weeks and then you get to staffing some days you can't eat inside due to staffing and others the drive through wait is over 20 mins. Today they were out of ice, the mardi gra mustard, forgot to add napkins and utensils to my drive through order. Just sad as there is another chicken fast food going in just south of it which I feel will hurt them bad and that is sad due to the southern style chicken is great read more

We love their chicken but half the time when you order, they don't have what you want or there is an hour wait for regular chicken. Too many times this has happened or they can't take your debit card or when using cash, they don't have the change. I think better management is called for. Very disappointing because we do love their fried chicken. I don't see how you can run a business like this and stay in business. read more

Tell me how you get 2 chicken wraps and a chicken sandwich wrong AND UNDERCOOKED AS WELL AS COLD. How do you fail at frying chicken?? What is wrong with the people that work here? there is no way they care about their jobs and definitely not the customers. Went to order drive thru, was asked to wait, so I did. 10-15 minutes later I finally asked if they were still there, to which they responded by asking for my order. it was lunch time, so I assumed they were busy, but when I turned the corner the line that was ahead of me had been completely served and gone. would I still be there if I hadn't asked? wtf. then it takes another 15 minutes for the food to come out. all of this I can be ok with if they seemed busy, but after waiting half an hour and getting back to work for the sauce to not be in the bag? Ordered from the mobile app, and mind you I live 25 minutes from the store. arrived to find the lobby closed (this was at 5:30pm!!). apparently this is normal for this place. Anyway, sat in line at the drive thru for 45 minutes, finally got to the speaker and was told "we ain't got no fries and we can't do no sandwiches". great. was told to pull up, and was "greeted" at the window by a very rude woman and a waft of weed smell. was told that if I wanted my money back, I had to do it online. the window was promptly closed after that, no sorry, no nothing. Sat in line at the drive thru with only one person in front of us for 20 minute before they took the car in front of us order and then we waited another 10 minutes at the speaker before they took our order. Just to start off this review, the food is still delicious, but the service was HORRIBLE. We came through the drive-thru and we were waiting behind a car for 5 minutes. When the people finally left, they didn't even order, we went up and they never took our order either. We went up to the window and they opened it. If I could have given no stars I would have. Ordered all of my food just to get to the window pay and find on my receipt they only charged me for a small side not the 2 large I ordered. Can't give a lower score. First, no signage telling you the lobby is closed. Then, we get in the drive-thru to order. Long wait for only 7 cars in line ahead of us. We go to order and the gal kept laughing and turning off the mic while I'm trying to order. Out of unsweetened tea. My wife and I both ordered 3-piece combos. One spicy and one classic. Rung order up, tried to fix it at the window. Lady rolled her eyes. Got water instead of tea that was on receipt. Asked to have correct drink and got attitude. Wasn't rude and just wanted what was wrong fixed. Then asked if it was normal to charge 25 cents for a dipping sauce since it seemed odd one would not come with a $8 meal. Again... eyes rolled numerous times while stating they only give a dipping sauce with tenders only. Sandwich and fries meal doesn't count. Ok, cool thanks for the information. I wish I could give this 0 stars. I went there at 4:00 PM on a Saturday and no one was in the line. They told me to pull into a parking spot to wait for my food. I waited for 20 minutes and the food never arrived. Went in and they had given my food to someone else and didn't bother to make anymore. I got my refund and went to KFC. Wow... is all I can say. We used to come here frequently and all was great... food and staff. I'm not sure what is going on here but this was the last night I will come here. I came here a couple weeks ago and had an awful experience (they were out of EVERYTHING) but I figured maybe it was an off night so I decided to give them another chance. First off, the ordering guy was not polite at all. They were out of 3 different sides so we ended up ordering green beans. We placed our order and I went to the self-serve station to get drinks. It was a disaster (see photo) no tea at all, soda fountain was not functioning properly and was a mess. The whole area there was a mess. We sat down at a table and began waiting for our food. After 13 minutes (13:47 according to their order monitor) I approached the counter to inquire as to when our order would be ready. The female employee replied with 'I don't know' Umm... So I asked, 'What item are you waiting on?' No reply....she just turns to the employee behind her and asks why he's not bagging orders. He gives her attitude and they have a 'discussion' Then they start packaging my order... all items were ready so I'm not sure what the hold up was. We go back to the table to eat our food. The 2-pc dark chicken dinner had 2 chicken legs (no thigh like usual) a biscuit and 1/2 container of green beans. The 2-pc White chicken dinner had one wing and one leg (not even white meat).... a biscuit and a 1/2 container of green beans. So in the end, I paid $16.50 for 4 small pieces of chicken, 2 small sides of green beans that were only 1/2 full, 2 biscuits and water (since there was no tea) This was at 5:42 pm... maybe 5 people in the restaurant and some cars in the drive thru. Also, the whole restaurant was a bit of a mess. They had red trays placed over the openings on the trash cans so there was no place to throw trash away so we had to leave ours on the table., Will be going to Church's or KFC if we decide on fast food chicken again! read more

Door says open until 10 pm. Sitting in parking lot now and doors are locked as I post this at 9:32. They have lost my business.

I mainly go for the red beans & rice because I haven't found any other in town. The chicken is very good, but for a fast food restaurant it isn't unusual to have to wait for the spicy chicken. I wish they would have anticipated the crowds they have because the front of the restaurant can be shoulder to shoulder and the back of the restaurant is fairly open. Overall I give them high Marks's on food and service. My last note I would like them to clean tables on a quicker basis. Many times I've eaten my meal in the car because all of the empty tables are dirty. read more

My boyfriend was an employee here and was treated horribly and discriminated by the color of his skin. One morning our car wouldn't move so he called in to tell them he'd be a little late, he was yelled at over the phone by his manager Jericho, she said "I'm done. If your not going to be here by 10am don't bother showing up. I'm done." I could hear her yelling at him through the phone and was blown away by how she decided to go about this situation, especially being a manager you'd think she would've been more professional and respectful. This same manager had also previously been accused or discriminating coworkers due to the color of their skin. He got to work 5 minutes late and was yelled at to clock in, he was given the work no one wanted to do and Robert made him clean the backroom which looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in decades, he was given no praise or thanks. He also recently had a medical procedure done, a colonoscopy, so he hadn't been to work due to the procedure, and he had paperwork for each day excusing him. The two managers proceeded throughout the day cursing at him and were recording him without his permission while had was taking a personal call from his doctor, which he had permission from Thomas the Store GM to take, they were aware that he was on the phone with someone important but after the Store GM left for the day, Manager Robert proceeded to yell at him and tell him to "get the fuck off the phone, your on my time" and the Manager Jericho who was recording him without his consent was yelling "that's your manager, you listen to him" he repeatedly tried apologizing but they wouldn't let him talk. They then forced him the clock out and leave the store for the day. We decided to call Corporate and report the situation yet the only thing that happened was my boyfriend getting fired. He was fired after reporting to corporate and the morning he was fired he was told he was a liar and that none of the things that were said and done ever happened by the stores GM Manager Thomas who also proceeded to throw the days he missed, which were excused by his doctor, in his face and saying since he missed those days there was nothing the he himself could do except fire him. A couple days after this incident his friend who is also white was fired as well, they were the only two white workers there besides the Regional Manager Brian. We feel very upset about this situation and feel that more could be done, we've been struggling financially due to COVID19 and my boyfriend was already struggling to find a decent job and for him to be fired for speaking up for himself and how he was treated and discriminated against while at work is very concerning. If your child/friend/parent was working here would you want them to be treated this way or discriminated against for the color of their skin! Absolutely uncalled for and unprofessional! I will NEVER EVER go there again due to poor business management. read more

Worst Popeyes location I've been to. Just left full, but very irritated. The place was a mess! Employees on their cell phones and just hanging out talking with each other. People in the dining area waiting on food and looking mad cuz food was taking to long. Stood at counter waiting for someone to take my order. I had to ask politely if someone is taking orders and got ignored when the employee was 5ft away from me so I proceeded to raise my voice to get attention. They finally took our order, but forgot one of our drink cups and a side. Had no tea or fries. Nov. 4th they got the spicy chicken sandwich back. I had never gotten a chance to try it the first go round so I head over for lunch. Drive through sign says $3.99 for a sandwich. I order and the lady says are you ok with the sandwich being $5.49... I ask why the sign says $3.99, she says corporate blah blah blah. Ok, sure. I order my meal with fries. Get to the window and the lady unapologetically says "what do you want as a side cause we are out of fries." No sorry. No can I get you something else. "What do you want." I ask if they have everything else. Everything but onion rings. After a 10 minute wait she hands me my food and closes window. I sit there for a minute and she says do you need something else?
