This location is horrible!! Only been 2 times first time was at like 11 am took 30 mins to get chicken all I ordered was a 2 pc with fries. Second time was around 3:30 when we pulled into the drive thru it was only 1 car ahead of us. It took them 10 mins to take that first car order and by the time we got to the microphone they still wasn't ready. We finna let get to order and they tell us they only have spicy chicken. Ordered 3 meals through the drive through was asked to pull ahead to wait 8 minutes for the sandwiches. 30 minutes later finally went into the restaurant to retrieve the food and was told they were working on it. 10 minutes later asked for a refund and was told there was no one there to execute a refund.... And that they would need to call the manager, who in turn never picked up or returned the call. Asked for them to just make the food- which was all incorrect. When I asked to remake the sandwiches (had mayo after repeating 10 times no mayo). Was told it was going to be another "8" minutes. Walked out with no food and no refund. Called back and was told I needed to come into the store to receive a refund. No problem except I was travelling for work and live 22 hours away. Against my better mind I went into Popeyes to get an order of Shrimp, KNOWING that I could do a LOT BETTER at another place. But Popeyes was there coming out of Walmart and since it was so close I went BACK to this place after swearing I would not go back there again. So I ordered the shrimp, I was told that they were Butterfly Shrimp and that they were cooked to order. So I waited and got my order and left. Got outside, looked in the box and a bunch of the tiniest things that you will ever see. You just about needed glasses to see them. Tried one of them and they were like little rocks. I started to trash after I ate the fries and drank the tea. But I caught myself and said why should I throw away a whole 11.00 order. So I went back inside and told the employee that I would like my money back for the shrimps that I could not eat. I didn't ask for the WHOLE order back, just for the shrimps. The manager came and told me that I couldn't get my money back because I had eaten half of the order. I said that I wasn't asking for my money back for the WHOLE order. Just those things you're passing off for shrimps. He said the best he could do was to cook me another order. So I left there with another order of Shrimp Rocks that were a wee bit bigger, still no butterfly ones. So whatever you do at Popeyes do not buy their shrimps. They are over priced and hard as hell. The service is absolutely terrible here. The food comes out super cold. It's just not a good experience there ever. The employees are always goofing off too much to even pay attention the the orders. Multiple times they have forgotten my order or messed up my order completely. Went though the drive thru today & literally ordered one thing and then waited for 10 min (which I get because it's busy and they may be short staffed) but when the employee resumed taking my order he was so rude, he just kept saying "that's it? It's a horrible location Because it'sno one answers. I tried calling them managed poorly if you have a problem and you try to call them on the phone no one answers. I tried calling them about 20 times no one answers. I immediately went inside to place the order. I spoke with the MOD (manager of the day) Hazel who apologized and took the order. The manager went to get Janiyah and she would not come out an apologize for her actions. She caused me time out of my day to get to a function I was bringing food for. I should have not been treated that way nor should I have had to get out of vehicle in 90 degree heat. This place has went down since it first opened. I go to get a gallon of sweet tea the past 3 weeks the first time they had no tea and the last two times they did not have any lids for the containers. Then they use language that is unreal. You can hear it very loud. The f word was heard on several occasions. We have tried this particular Popeyes about 3 times since opening. The recipe does not seem the same. The red beans and rice are extremely soupy and the the rice was crunchy.
