I was downsize and my business and relocating So that also met that I needed to find some place I…read morecould board my horses in my 3 goats. I believe I found a listing for this business on Facebook. I went I worked checked it out it seemed Ok. Of course and beginning everything was grits and gravy. Catherine that runs the business quoted me one prize and I was good with that. The home and land we were attempting the by did not pass inspection or the appraisal so that option was completely out so the house we did said lawn was over an hour away from where our horses were. Getting there was sometimes a challenge with everything going on. But trust me I missed them and worried about them all the time. They had never been apart from me in almost 20 years . We carry them with us anywhere we went that was going to be over a week's time. They were never out of feed And I did pop in unexpectedly several times. They were there for approximately a year not full year but close to it. I thought closing would never happen! Once it did the first thing I did was begin on the fence. Somewhere in here set and Li Catherine's husband change the price on me instantly no heads or nothing! They had me over a barrel I had no choice. I understand trying to turn a profit but is Catherine would talk to me she would tell me how much of a financial bind they were in. Which really made me feel is low that's while the price went up. As though I Was being used Because they were short on paying something. It just rubbed me the wrong way that the price was changed on the spot and there was no a heads up at all. And when noticing their feed It's as though they were not feeding them enough. What I would go through in a week was taken them 2 or more. And one of my mayor's began to lose weight drastically. And I began to hear talk is people would tell me that she hated the fact that she had to feed my goats! If they were a problem she should have said something directly to me. Yet she was too busy complaining to me about other boarders. And of course directly behind that Came the talk behind my back and she would complain that I wouldn't volunteer to do anything at the stables. I didnt come often enough and that I didn't spend enough time with them I should have been there at feeding time. Well what was I paying them for? At this point if my fence was ready or not they would just have to stay in the barn but I was ready to come and get them for fear that they would be harmed. And when Catherine would speak to me I would be as sort with her as I possibly could. The mare that was losing weight I begin to worry and started feeding her extra calorie supplements which meant she was to be pulled out of the lot And fed separately. I was then being told some times she was. Sometimes she wasnt. Would I go back to this place? No! I would tie them in my front yard 1st. Neither of my horses are grade horses. One is registered Fresian the other is a registered Indian paint. Even my goats were registered. The whole lot had always been handled and had a easy going temperament. With everyone. If you dont like your job then change professions.
